I am glad to spark your interest in this most intriguing area of Scripture..................It truly is a most amazing story when you really dig into it.........
THE CANOPY-
The majority of the research comes from a man named E.T.Tennyson, who lived early in the 20th Century...........His main book on this particular subject is called "The Diet of Oxygen". It was written in the early 1950's and for the most part is out of print. I had, had a copy from a friend, but when researching online to find another copy, it was almost impossible to find. I did however, finally find it at ABE BOOKS which is based out of London, England. They had a couple of used copies that were rather expensive, I don't remember the actual price, but I think it was $80.00 dollars or so.
This is because Tennyson only printed for a short time, and there weren't millions of copies in print like so many other books today............Perhaps I will do a teaching or at least an extensive expose' about the Canopy, which is such an amazing story.............
Another thought on this topic: Part of Tennyson's interest back in his day, lead to the use of a special chamber that was designed, to help certain individuals that were really sick. It is called a HYPERBARIC CHAMBER..................You see, Doctors KNEW back in the 30's and the 40's that DISEASE CANNOT REMAIN IN AN OXYGEN-RICH ENVIRONMENT...................UH, TODAY, WHERE ARE THEY THAT WOULD HELP THE SICK........
This is a real point of contention for me, because this is my particular ministry to the Body of CHRIST. I teach about what are called "spiritual roots of disease". This is where certain ailments, MOST KNOWN DISEASES ACTUALLY................Are caused by a root, or a core reason such as bitterness, anxiety, fear, anger, resentments, etc.......(Dr.'s are FINALLY catching on now)
Many of my friends, and Brothers and Sisters in CHRIST have been healed from all sorts of nasty diseases, because they got rid of the spiritual root cause that was behind the disease. This is TOTALLY SCRIPTURAL............One example that you may have heard of is:
A merry heart does good like a medicine.............but a broken spirit (heart) DRIES UP THE BONES.............Proverbs - 17:22 Just a couple of things to point out here with this Scripture.......First of all, when you are merry, your usually laughing a lot, this OXYGENATES THE BODY.............And also continuously causes the Hypothalmus gland to release Seratonin, which is a hormone DESIGNED BY GOD TO KEEP YOU AT PEACE.............
On the flip side.............DRIES UP THE BONES..................When this happens, due to anger, hostility, resentments, etc.. The BONE MARROW dries up, and this is very injurious to our immune system response to disease, all of the natural killer T-cells, macrophages, and Interleukin anti-bodies, begin to die, and cannot do what they are designed to do by our LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER...... There's a ton more info on this subject, and I will be glad to share more if you are interested. REMEMBER WHAT JESUS SAID WERE THE GREATEST COMMANDMENTS:
LOVE THER LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL OF YOUR HEART, SOUL, AND STRENGTH...............AND LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF...........In other words, we are DESIGNED AND CREATED TO LOVE...............When we hate instead, it causes all sorts of disease to eventually form and kill us, because we are acting CONTRARY TO OUR GOD-GIVEN DESIGN...........REMEMBER GOD SAID WE ARE CREATED IN HIS IMAGE.............SO IF WE TAKE ON SATANS IMAGE OF HATE, FEAR, BITTERNESS, ETC. IT WILL EVENTUALLY CAUSE OUR DOWNFALL............
