Pretty much agree. This would include both holy and fallen angels.

1Co 4:9
For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men.

Luke 22:31-32

“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.
But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail.
And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Satan still has to ask "permission."

It's for evidence in the court.

For when God disciplined Satan and his angels at the beginning of their rebellion
they slowly began to harden their hearts like Pharaoh.

Then it got to the point where God was going to make Satan face reality as to what he had been fighting against.
Instead of admitting his weakness and his need for God?
Satan...... Cursed God to His Face!

Then after?
Satan claimed that anyone who had to go through what God had put him through would have done just the same.

That is when we find Job being used for evidence!

But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has,
and he will surely curse you to your face.”

The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power,
but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”

Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
Job 1:11-12

There was a real reason for Job's suffering!!!!!!!!!!!

In the end, God was glorified, and Satan slapped down, when Job refused to curse God like Satan had done!

We got to get out of the prevailing Sunday school mentality for kids if we are ever to mature in Christ!

We need more winners!

Suggesting that Lucifer was once "mortal" means you think he was once in the flesh, like us. That idea is nowhere written, not even hinted at, while the gap idea is at least hinted at in God's Word. Thus the Gap theory is not actually speculation. Lucifer was never in the flesh, having been created as a 'cherub', which is a heavenly being.
