Jn 16:7
Thats why each dead spiritually elect or chosen in Christ Eph 1:4 will be quickened while dead in trespasses and sins Eph 2:1,4,5

1And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved )

This is a work of the Spirit in Salvation, why it was expedient that Christ go away that He may come and begin His Saving, quickening Ministry, at this time He would mostly work in behalf of the apostles to prepare the elect to receive their word..
It's so wonderful that ALL are drawn and called by God unto salvation, but sad that so few choose to respond to that drawing.

:) focus this is the 2nd time the first "False comment" What you said drew me in :) I was confused as to why you said this.
Because the poster made a false statement, why shouldn't it be false ? The statement isnt found in the scripture, and u have not attempted to show it scriptural otherwise.

Here is the statement:

Prove it, then, if you have anything of substance to back your claim.

Its nothing to prove since you posted something that scripture doesnt say. First you need to prove what is only in your imagination to be scriptural duh

What scriptures did I provide ? Did you understand them
I've seen the hyper-Calvinistic use of those verses, always at the expense of not only context, but also its contradiction of a more systematic study on the topic:

Mark 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

It's pretty much a given that this topic will never be settled in the minds of all who harbor their beliefs on the side of hyper-Calvinism, which routinely parrots the idea that God predetermined who will go to Hell and who will go to Heaven, not at all minding that they are corrupting the perfect justice of God. As an Israeli, I do indeed disagree with this claim, be it specifically spoken or not as to the logical conclusion to which it leads.

An acquaintance of mine is a strong believer in the extremes of predestination and election...all five of the TULIP dogmas, and in context, they simply don't hold water, and clearly did not originate with any prophet or reputable teacher from ancient Israel.

The hyper-Calvinist acquaintances of mine can never seem to satisfactorily explain how God sovereignly allowing mankind to choose whether to believe Paul's gospel or reject it, how that violates His sovereignty for him to sovereignly grant unto mankind the freedom to choose. Why that's repugnant to some remains a mystery to me.

So that means you reject what I have posted about the Holy Spirit and Salvation
