Jimbo possession cannot happen to a person who follows Christ, yes conviction of the holy spirit is powerful but he gives us the choice to listen or not and more often than not sadly we don't. We humans even as believers are a rebellious race we are imperfect we are flawed we have many weaknesses and are lacking and even the best of us will ignore the holy spirits conviction but that doesn't make anyone possessed. our bodies are a temple and only one spirit can reside in it at a time, the holy spirit does not leave the temple when we sin and allow a demonic one in because we lives in us and no demonic spirit can reside where he is.

Jimbo you are speaking of things you do not comprehend. The enemy is not allowed to simply take over our thoughts he is only allowed to influence it just as God does not simply possess us and take over our thoughts he only influences our thoughts. Believe me we humans are more than capable of such thoughts without the devils control, those kind of thoughts have happened to me lots of times and I am responsible for them.
Our houses are never fully clean, they are in the sense that we are made clean and spotless by Christs blood but we are sinners and we fall down sometimes, but the enemy has no power or authority over us and cannot invade a house that is marked by Christ blood. I know all about spiritual warfare I have dealt with it ever since i became a Christian, even when I was attacked by satan himself and he was three feet away from my own face never once no matter how far I had fallen in sin which sadly I have fallen far on occasions have I ever been possessed
No influencing is to guide or to lead in a certain direction it is not invasion and it is not being a captive we who are in Christ are not captives to sin or to the enemy or to any other demonic spirit, we are marked by Christs blood we are set free in his name and are children of God and they have no power over us in that sense. And yes i do know their powers I have been attacked by demons many many times I have almost been ripped to shreds by a demon before and I was once paralyzed in my bed while a demon was screaming in hatred and anger at me and I have personally seen the power in the name of Jesus Christ and the authority we in him have against these demons.
Believe me I know their powers but I also know god's power, until you have experienced actual spiritual warfare things like this are speculation at best

Once a person has been filled with the Holy Spirit,after cleaning your house, no demon will dare approach the Holy spirit to take back the House. the only way he can get back in is that the house was never occupied by the Holy Spirit in the fiorst place. I wish people would stop denying the truth of God's word, and just believe what Jesus said about demons. If you have not been filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, then shame on you.

The Holy Spirit leads us into paths of righteousness. The Holy Spirit does not drag us kicking and screaming against our will into paths of righteousness.

Being attacked and being possessed are in no way the same thing, yes satan attacks us all the time but he cannot possess us not even temporarily. You say this based on what you have seen and experienced but these can be tricky things, often times we see but are blind and experiences can be altered based on our perception. If I were to base all I know about spiritual warfare solely on the attacks I experienced and and what I saw experiencing them that would be unwise, without the word of God these things on their own are not valid.
Study the baptism of the Holy Ghost .find all the scriptures pertaining to it. what evidence you have that you have been baptized in the Holy Ghost? the evidence of speaking in tongues at that very moment. you may not have gift later on , but you will speak in tongues while being baptized in the Holy Spirit. don't mean to be rude, but this is how it goes. from the day of pentecost until now. Evidence? speaking in tongues. Jesus will not leave you ignorant.
Not everyone's experience when saved is the same. When I was saved I was suddenly engulfed and consumed in a blazing fire, this fire burned intensely inside me and all around me I could feel the power and love of the holy spirit flowing through me surging inside me like electricity and I was filled abundantly with life itself not energy like when you are energized but actual life however I did not speak in tongues. You do not get to set the standard of the evidence of the holy spirit, not everyone speaks in tongues.
the scriptures set the standard not me. im strictly going by scripture. it is possible that you was unaware of speaking in tongue.. i heard the language i was speaking,even though i did not understand what i said. the Holy spirit had full control of me in a instant.,and when he let go, i was amazed, full of fire, and ready.
No where does the bible say that the gifts of tongues is the only proof of the baptism of the holy spirit, yes it happened at Pentecost but that is not the only instance people received the holy spirit now was it? John the baptist had the holy spirit and did not speak in tongues and upon Pauls conversion he did not speak in tongues either Timothy did not speak in tongues and when the holy spirit landed on Jesus did he speak in tongues? Show me where the scriptures say specifically that tongues is the only proof of the baptism of the holy spirit other wise you are not basing it on scripture you are basing it on what you believe and there is a major difference.
