okay.. let me give a lesson on respect.. You have to GIVE it to GET it. You're not respecting Jason with this thread. You're not helping him with his failings. You're just sitting here crowing over your own. Don't you think maybe he'd respect you more if you dealt with him, maybe one on one or something? I think that would yield far better results than this tacky thread will.

IMO, Salvation is a free gift; in fact, there is no way to earn it. Respect, on the other hand, (unlike a piece of cake, which may be given freely to anyone who wants it), must be earned or it becomes meaningless. IMO, Jason, because of his disrespect for all who disagree with him, has not earned anyone's respect. I ignore him; because, ignoring him seems kinder than constantly confronting him. Please inform us all what you see in Jason that is an any way respectable.
The only exception that I see to my premise is that our own parents should be given respect, whether or not they deserve it; because God asks that of us.

In order to clear up any confusion, Isis and I had a back and forth about Jesus' promises and His ability to save. I stated to Isis that if his jesus would turn his back on him then his Jesus is a liar. That is the truth. I love my Jesus because he is faithful and he loves me based on my faith in Him, not what I do.

you say that christians are saved by grace through faith and that christians, while having work done in them, are not perfect.
yet i read this thread abd see someone try to post something funny, admittedly as a defense mechanism. What is everyone's response:
Lines about so called "christians" as if you can judge someones heart
jumping on OP and continuing to attack him in unrighteous judgment
an almost obsessive need to make sure OP knows EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL.
whether or not OP was appropriate, was the response to him appropriate?

No, you misunderstand, when I first came here before standing up for Jason, it was mostly sugar lips, the tide turned grandually through some encounters that began to change my mind.
It wasnt manifest yet what I have later come to see.
BUT this was one of the NICER of the boards (I say that only by way of comparison) although its not necessarily a compliment. For example I have been where Jason went to TOL, thats just as bad.
But I have been looking for a more private forum type setting but you cant find them being private (and away from these bigger power boards that are filled with nastiness, you just have to grab a servant of the Lord (you feel is a REAL servant of Christ) and say, Come with me if you dont wish to be devoured LOL

Right,exactly as I thought, a difference over doctrine. He said "your Jesus" not Jesus himself. He was making a point over doctrine.He was not,in fact,blaspheming Jesus and In Spirit is bearing false witness. A simple disagreement over doctrine that got over heated. Nothing more.
