Are you also proud of a man who called my Jesus a liar? People seem to stand up for a man who blasphemes Jesus Christ and makes personal attacks daily on his saints, and has now also made a personal attack thread on Jason? How proud are all of you for that?

If blaspheming Jesus Christ on a Christian forum does not get a person banned, what will? Proud? Good Lord!
What was that all about?

I only said that I was proud of him for standing up in all of this or basically for taking his medicine from those who were offended by his post. I have no idea whatsoever where he called your Jesus a liar or blasphemed or any of that other stuff that erupted out of your heart in seeming hatred towards Sirk and me also apparently. If you're holding a grudge against him, then you're in sin and you seem to be holding grudges against several members here and vice versa. I'll take correction from anybody when it's warranted, but what you just lashed out against me for says a lot about your own heart condition. Again, I don't even know what you're talking about and you totally misapplied my proud comment for your own purposes.

Always a word to be an offender for with you
I don't know what your talking about...I simply agreed with your use of NO ONE and grace.....plus...grace doesn't mean much to those who work for their salvation....it is either grace or works according to Paul and if works it is NOT of grace...

A little taste of what actually happens and that which gets dished out by the workers for salvation under the banner of always being persecuted.......they constantly twist what is said and or implied.....welcome to the actual truth!

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times? “Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”

Thank you for quoting the Scripture to what I was saying. Well done!

I can see your point here. I'm not being defensive. Anyone else please feel to chime in where I fell short in posting this thread.
This thread has passive aggressiveness written all of it.

I've had more than a taste of it and it seems to be served daily by restaurants on both sides of the street. I'm not picking sides here because, again, the actual issues being discussed always seem to be drowned out by all of this hatred which people are harboring in their hearts for one another. I don't know how many pages everybody has in their Bible, but it seems like a whole lot of people here are missing the verses about overcoming evil with good, loving their enemies, etc.

Well, let me read the rest of the posts on this thread which I haven't read yet so that I can be edified to the point of reaching full maturity in Christ because that's everybody's goal here, right?

I I think this a perfect opportunity for the body of Christ. Does not God use all things for good?
What's the good in the title of this thread and what was the main purpose behind it in the first place?

I think this post right here is the closest we have gotten to the truth of my failings yet. Maybe it was passive aggressive. I've never thought of myself as that type but maybe I have a dash of it living in me?

Somebody once said that those who put themselves on a pedestal are begging to get knocked off. My weapon of choice is satire I suppose. Does that make me bad?

Oh I agree it gets served both hot and cold from both sides....I myself have dished it out as well...at the same time...many wear their feelings on their sleeves and are easily offended.....it is one thing to debate scripture....it is another thing to twist what is said and imply something which is not being said nor implied....that is what fires me up the most......!

Ive never known Sirk to act in such a manner ,I think you are mistaken. I dont think this was a personal attack thread either and I think people need to lighten up a bit around here.I dont know Jason well but his thread was out of line.He doesnt make the rules at CC. If he wants to put everyone on ignore that is immature but his right. But nothing in CC rules says you must use Scripture in your posts. And you are doing the same thing you are blaming Sirk for, personally attacking him. Seriously folks, lighten up.
I don't know what Jason did or didn't do so I won't touch that part of your post, but I do agree that people need to lighten up a bit here. Maybe I'm nuts, but I laughed my head off when I read the title of this thread and my laughter had nothing at all to do with Jason nor was it at his expense. I just saw this as sort of a playful mockery on all of the different threads which have been popping up of late and it really made me laugh and actually put me in a better state of mind. I can understand how some folks around here are just fed up by all of this in general, but I honestly feel that Sirk is getting a lot more here than he deserves. I've seen much more egregious sins committed on this forum today and at least one of Sirk's bashers is 10 times more guilty today alone than Sirk is in my estimation.

I think that some people here would be happy if Sirk died tonight. Seriously, the underlying hatred in some of these posts is scary. The ones who deem themselves the most righteous around here seem to be the most blind to their own conditions.

Sirk, for whatever it is worth, your thread title made me laugh and I've basically called everybody out, even myself, for something in the last few days but Jesus. I really think that a lot of folks here are overreacting. If I was next to you in person, then I'd put my hand on your shoulder and tell you, I've been there. Don't get swallowed up with overmuch sorrow. To whatever degree you've erred, learn from it, confess it before the Lord and men if necessary and then move forward. In other words, drown out the cries from some here for your blood.

The people who were most offended by what I wrote seem to have left. I wish they would return so we could come to a biblical conclusion to our conflict. If you think about it...the purpose behind conflict is to learn to resolve it in Jesus name.... Am I wrong? The bible specifically addresses how we are to resolve conflict in the body of Christ. So......if we are Christians......how do we proceed?

I can see that. Please tell me more.
You say you're trying to reach Jason and get him to see his mistakes but all you're doing is taking jabs at him, making his points stronger at how many people throw insults on here.

That is the sad thing about christians like all of us. We are meant to try and be better than the rest of the world, which is aggressive, but we all suck so the compromise is this passive aggresive anger that actually ends up biting deeper.

A favorite of christians everywhere; implying someone is going to hell by saying "ill pray for you" after an argument.
