You go sit in the corner, and lament the condition you choose to see yourself staying in. I will celebrate with Jesus that He has healed me.
Is your flesh not wretched? Where will it be in 30 years?

Who said I lament. I rejoice that GOD forgives me for what I am.

I know what I have ...I don't know what you have ? I can recognize the spirit of Grace upon other believers, when its there ... I also know you are not the judge of when grace is real or some religious concept used by those in the flesh.
I told you what I believe, and asked for clarification about you what you believe. But I received obfuscation for some reason...

I don't agree with broad brush you use. Your hatred of the RCC makes you irrational.
That's your opinion...and its irrational ...see how that works? Opinions are nothing ..the truth is powerful and the truth about the RCC is evident to all who are not under the deception of Rome.

Well I didn't see anything but some letter put forth from the RCC that has little or no weight on the issue of the gnostic teachings or the doctrines of grace that the bible clearly teaches.

There is nothing wrong with hating a demonic, antichrist system.
The system, yes. But many carry it forward to dump on other human beings caught in the snare, as if they are vile for trying to believe on God in a way that they understand as just as right as what any of us practice.

You're purposely avoiding the direct questions I asked you a few posts prior. This answer here has nothing to do with what I asked.

Of course Ireneaus' writing has weight on the issue of gnostic beliefs because he wrote about what he knew. Your rabid hatred of the early church fathers doesn't invalidate it.

I see no evidence that he knew anything but the legalism of Rome ...and to a legalist all grace teachings sound like false doctrine and the charge of gnostic teaching has nothing to do with the true gospel of grace ...so it has no weight on the issue ..as far as your question...I still don't understand what your asking that I have not answered ...maybe you just didn't like the answer?

I think you would be more honest if you said, "I choose to see no evidence that he knew anything but the legalism of Rome." You are so blinded by hatred that you conflate everything from the early church fathers to the RCC now as if it were all the same evil.

I used to be naive like that.

Well maybe your still naïve to believe the fairytales of Rome and think they who teach so many lies and have commited so many acts of evil against Gods truth and Gods people are a source of truth?

That's true. But the charge against new.modern.hyper grace sticks because it manifests the same spirit. That is proven by Irenaeus' writings.

I bet your getting tired of your opinion being dismissed by someone who has more understanding of these issues which you admit you have not studied out.

Ya read Isaiah 52:7 or Romans 10:15 lately? God created our flesh. It's beautiful..... when we are letting Him (who is living in it) reach out to those He came to find... and wants us to keep looking for as representatives for Him.

No, I can clearly see that you have no capacity to reason correctly due to being so blinded by hatred. Your trying to discredit Irenaeus' witness is laughable because there is no substance; just blind hatred for anything beyond the apostles.

First He has no standing in the truth of Christ ...One of the most wicked groups in history, who have been proven to make up false early writings use his supposed writings to promote and cover for their own attacks against the true faith...and nothing he said can defeat the clear and evident truth of the gospel of grace.... No ...thankfully I don't have the capacity to be deceived by such nonsense.

I get it. Everything after the apostles is the evil RCC. I have to admit that I did at one time respect your presence of mind.

I don't care one way or the other, but we do have to admit that Irenaneus' writings have turned out to be quite unreliable concerning numerous events.

Here is some of his catholic nonsense ..

Besides emphasis on the one true church in Rome, a listing of the bishops (Popes), and Eucharistic theology, Maryology can also be found in the writing of Irenaeus. Speaking in the context of Eve and Mary, he writes,
And if the former did disobey God, yet the latter was persuaded to be obedient to God, in order that the Virgin Mary might become the patroness (advocata) of the virgin Eve. And thus, as the human race fell into bondage to death by means of a virgin, so is it rescued by a virgin; virginal disobedience having been balanced in the opposite scale by virginal obedience.
