ok.
but are there any examples in the NT where anyone except Jesus opened their mouths and Jesus' own words came out in First Person?

i can't find any.

i do see alot of this kind of thing though:

is Jesus speaking in the First Person voice through prophets today?

pure blasphemy.
He opened his writing utensil and the words came out first person....Directly to that church!

Mr. Joyner (NAR) Defends Holy Laughter And Mimicing Animals

Mr Joyner is a New Ager feeding this same kind of garbage into the Pentecostal ranks. He defends the current pandemonium of "holy laughter" with the following statement:

"One of the disconcerting aspects of this movement has been the animal sounds and mimics that some have felt compelled to make. There are 'signs and wonders,, and almost everyone is wondering about this sign. Some of it is demonic. Some of it is mere human foolishness. Some of it is really inspired by the Holy Spirit. There will always be tares in the wheat, but this is something that the Holy Spirit is doing, and it is important.

As John Amos Comenius paraphrased the apostle Paul, 'Nature is God's second book.' The December 1994 issue of National Geographic carried an insightful article titled 'Animals at Play.' The author of this article had been commissioned by Texas Governor John Connally to do a psychological study on mass murderers after the tragic murder of sixteen people on a Texas campus. The one common denominator that this author found in the character of mass murderers was that 'they never learned to play.'... The conclusion was essentially that learning to play is necessary for the healthy development, and possibly the survival, of almost every creature." (The Morning Star, Prophetic Bulletin, January 1995, p. 8.)

Conclusion

Mr. Joyner condemns those in the church who refuse to allow any departure from the Holy Scripture. He believes it is time to "lighten up" and quit being so serious. Here we are on the verge of the darkest time of human history when millions will be destroyed and condemned to eternal hell and it's time in Joyner's theology to "lighten up." Here is a paragraph from his prophetic vision for 1995. Please note that we who are involved in exposing this "New Age Babel" in churches are called "Spiritual Mass Murderers." The enemy has become the "Bible believers," who refuse the false message of men like Rick Joyner. Here are his words:

"If we studied the 'spiritual mass murderers,' who spread slander and seek to spiritually assassinate other Christians, it would almost certainly be found that they are so bound by the religious spirit that they cannot stand any form of religious levity. The Lord is trying to get His people to simply "lighten up." It is a serious delusion for us to take ourselves, or our work, too seriously, because that is usually an indication that we are still moving in our own human energy. The Lord really does sit in the heavens and laugh, and when we are truly seated with Him, seeing from His perspective, we too will begin to laugh at many of the things that we are so uptight about now." (Ibid.)

N.A.R. statements:

We are not merely to have the message of the Kingdom, but become the message.

We are to be living epistles and God's Word incarnate if we are to meet the needs of this generation and become the army prophesied in Scripture.

--Bob Jones & Paul Keith Davis, "The Light of Favor and Grace is Upon Us. And Doubt Not, Have Faith to Move Mountains," 1/17/07, TheElijahList

Where religion has reigned now get ready for God's government to reign. This government will prepare a way for the Kingdom to come in the Body of Christ out of the innermost part of the sons and daughters.

--Bob Jones, "The Keys 22:22," 8/13/10, TheElijahList
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

So these people are teaching that we are supposed to be God incarnate in the flesh?

Matthew 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible.

Do you suppose people are afraid to risk reading the bible on their own?
I had a neighbor once and after we enjoyed what we read in the word,
He excitedly said he couldnt wait to talk to his priest about it and see if
it was ok.

It is not channeling Jesus! Prophecy is a gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit that is within us is speaking. But the Holy Spirit is not speaking of himself but is speaking what he hears from Jesus.

John 16:13 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:"

This verse tells us that the Holy Spirit is not speaking for himself but that the Holy Spirit is speaking what He hears from Jesus. Definitly not channeling Jesus. You can see the same truth in all the prophets. They were moved by the Holy Spirit to write but they wrote "Thus saith the Lord" not "Thus saith the Spirit".

2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

If people want to deny the faith of others in Christ simply because they might believe somewhat differently than you, then I would remind you of the words of Christ Himself spoke:

"Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you." (Matthew 7:1-2)

This would make a very interesting thread. You happen to stop by concerning yourself in pointing
out your differences with zone. And at times very very judgemental. Right?

Ok thats not the point. Really that was just to disarm you while the others are judging you as
a hypocrite. But me im just here to have dialogue since it sharpens and challenges my understanding.

Question is why dont you join the thread in an examination of the topic at hand? Are you for them or against them? If your for them...then you would have to say Jesus was ok with false prophets, false Apostles, and
heretics. And you should go on record for that.

If you are against then...give your opinion why just as clear as you have done with zone to go on record
unless you only stop by to shoot arrows. Im open to hear all criticism...just not wishywashy opinions.

Deuteronomy is clear that there is a purpose for false prophets and that is to lead people from God.
The newtestament makes it clear also that it works out for good to make it known who is on whos side.
So which side are you on. The new manmade church? or the one layed down by the true Apostles and
Prophets ONCE FOR ALL in Holy writ>

Revelation 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the TWELVE APOSTLES of the Lamb.
Yes, though this does pose a question whether Paul's name would be there as well.

2 Corinthians 12:12 Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in SIGNS, and WONDERS, and MIGHTY DEEDS.

Acts 5:12 And by the hands of the apostles were many SIGNS AND WONDERS WROUGHT among the people;

Such "signs" or evidences that they were divinely commissioned
Undeniably the signs of an apostle must be done by an apostle for him to be proven to be an apostle for those people.

You don't have to be in a hurry to quote a scripture. It must be in the Bible somewhere and since we are partakers of the fruit of God we should have patience. We will wait for you to find it. Just don't forget to search for it for then obviously we are waiting unnessasirly. I don't care if you take months. If I still live a few months you can tell me, if I don't I will know the truth anyhow. So don't be in a haste.

This is not our (christian) way. We shouldn't give ourselves over to bickering. We should pray and ask God to reveal to us the scriptures needed and this should be done by everyone. Now to those that believe that they hear the voice of the Lord, they will hear it from Him. For those who don't believe that one can hear the voice of the Lord, God will show you in another way. He is after all God and can reveal things to you on multiple ways if you silence yourself and pray for it. Being stubborn about everything is exactly what caused the devision in the churches in the first place.

And please don't quote websites when scripture is asked.
Cause in my mind it kind of looks like this...

blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..blah..

Yes., well

On the first line you quoted "blah blah..., blah.., blah blah., blah"

To which I say Blah

You then later say "Blah Blah Blah.., Blah., Blah Blah"

But you were wrong., it should be "Blah., Blah Blah., Blah"

On the 5th line you use Blah completely out of context and the rest of your post is just BLAH ^^

Everything I've stated in my last two to three posts is basically one statement. That we shouldn't attempt to deny someone else' faith in Christ just because they might believe differently than we do regarding certain details.
I know that many here embrace the Antinomian view of cheap grace because they do not fear God as it pertains to their own actions. Many here feel that God, being a loving God full of grace and mercy, would would accept them despite their many mistakes and imperfections. However, these same people deal very harshly with people as it pertains to the mistakes and imperfections of others. This tells me that are not truly partakers of God's authentic grace because their hearts have yet to be reknewed / transformed by that grace.
um.....hello?
God isn't concerned with "mistakes" and "imperfections"

so since the Holiness guys have partaken of "God's authentic grace", leaving you sinless (though with a few mistakes and imperfections) you have nothing to worry about.

why do you even stand near to sinners? mightn't it rub off?

No Rachel..that is not at all what they are saying. Where did you hear that?
The stuff they are teaching is so off the charts..Id ask that until you have read more
of their books and heard the teachings...dont comment.

i read it from the link zone got her quotation from...

the whole thing was about 'living for the will of God' and making your life a witness to the message of the kingdom...which isn't exactly 'off the charts'...

now i don't believe God really sends out a 'daily prophecy'...but it seems to me that in their haste to attack this 'new apostolic' movement some people are imagining heresies behind -every- statement this movement makes...even stuff that would normally not be controversial...

one of these 'new apostolic' people could probably say 'jesus is lord' and the usual suspects would find a way to be outraged by it...
