Jesus the Messiah, The Word of GOD, our Savior, The Lamb of God, the Kings of Kings, The Prince of Peace, The Good Shepherd, The resurrection and the Life, The High priest, our Advocate Before God our father in heaven, The chief cornerstone, the Alpha and the Omega, the Judge, the Mighty GOD who fulfilled the law and prophets, explained there are two paths one can take, one to eternal life and one to perdition. Which one are you taking? Jesus said and quoted the commandments as the means for salvation. His words are true and certain. Then Why do you follow Paul the Pharisee, and to use Paul's own words, not mine; The least of the Apostles, The chief of sinners, Less than the least of all the saints, who persecuted the church of God and murdered the saints. Why would you reject the teachings of Jesus to whom all a who says who was teaching the commandments and was following the sabbath? and listen to Paul instead?

Ill tell you why, because the gospel of Paul is easy, just believe. That is the wide path that many are taking

the Gospel of Jesus is not the same and so forgiving and requires obedience and repentance from sin. This if the Only path that leads to eternal life. Jesus as it is written, is the only way to eternal life. In truth, many do not want to change and instead hang on every word of Paul But completely Ignore Jesus teachings as if it was of no importance.

Unless you all who promote Lawlessness and refuse to repent, and refuse change your ways, you will not inherit eternal life.

The Sabbath day is part of the 10 Commandments, this is what many people try very hard with scripture used in the proper context to tell you but you refuse truth, you refuse God.
So sabbatarianism has gotten to the point of openly rejecting Paul, has it?. At least you're honest about it. All others pretend they believe Paul, but in reality fully reject his words

I 100% believe Paul- He never taught lawlessness. He is hard to understand and hence the stern warning about his writing 2 Peter 3:16

He never taught anything different than Christ, but its obvious Paul is talking about two different laws in his writings. The context will tell us and having a good foundational understanding that the law God wrote with His own finger, that is perfect for converting the soul Psa 19:7, written personally by our perfect Savior that is holy just and good Rom 7:12, never becomes the law that is contrary and against placed outside the ark there as a witness against Deut 31:24-26 if we miss the understandings of the different laws, their purpose, no one will understand Paul in context, hence the warning.

Even if we don't understand him, no one ever told us to follow Paul, but we are told to follow Jesus and His example. Paul is a servant, Jesus is the Master and no servant is greater than their master. John 13:16

So I ask
We're the 10 commandments that God gave Himself perfect? Were they Holy? Were they Just? And Righteous and truth, and Good?
When you were a child, was the crib you were put in good, protective, and righteous?

I am not sabatarian I follow Christ ans his teachings, BUT YES I reject some of what paul says as being uninspired. And I can prove my point easily but who will listen here? not one.

Please , do me a huge favor and get me banned, I am tired the prevalent lawlessness and blasphemy found on this thread.

I am not SDA so do not blame these who are for what I said, about Paul. to me Paul said wonderful things but he also, too many times contradicted directly the words of Jesus and of the original 12. Paul being a man was far from perfect and I want to point this to all here that ONLY Christ Is the way to eternal life, Be careful what you believe. Go Ahead followers of Paul, see where this leads you on judgment day, Christ who will judge us ( NOT PAUL BUT CHRIST) said clearly;

"And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'" (Matthew 7:23)

In case of doubt, the words of Jesus should always prevail.

Paul's writing are very tricky and come with a serious warning. 2 Peter 3:16 Did Jesus ever tell us not to keep God's commandments? He condemned those who did. Was Paul teaching one to sin Rom 7:7 and dishonor God Rom 2:22-23 not a chances.
Did Paul say the old law the written code is still in effect?
In 2 Peter 3:16, its not tricky if you understand the verses in order. It's self explanatory.

What do you think released from the law means? And what is the old written code?

Romans 7
6 But now, having died to what bound us, we have been released from the law, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code

I'll repost this because it explains in detail

To be dead (released) to/from the law means to be dead to the penalty or condemnation of the law, not the law itself, which is holy, just and good Rom 12:7

Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

What is walking in the Spirit?

1 John 3:24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

John 14:15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another [e]Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

Acts 5:32 And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

What is walking in the flesh?

It's sin- breaking God's law 1 John 3:4 James 2:10-12 Rom 7:7 Mat 5:19-30

Rom 8: 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

This truly cannot be more clear.

We are not walking in His Spirit by not obeying God's commandments.

God wants our inward parts changed- which starts with our thoughts. He wrote His law in our hearts right where sin begins. If our heart changes through Christ our actions will change.

Those in Christ live according to the Spirit which violates no law.

Gal 5:16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. (under the penalty)

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are:]adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

If we abide in Christ we will walk just as He walked following in His footsteps

1 John 2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
Jesus kept all of the commandments including the Sabbath

John 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

Follow the Lamb!

Those who enter His rest ALSO cease their works as God did, on the seventh day Heb 4:4 Exo 20:11 Gen 2:1-3

10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
"For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”

Yes that's a good example there's no penalty or condemnation for a Christian who has to work seven days a week to support their family and can't take a Sabbath rest.

A Christian who murders or commits adultery isn't a Christian to begin with.

So my husband who cheated on me is not a Christian anymore? Or he was never a Christian to begin with? I’m confused

Where did you see that verse? Those in Christ keep His commandments and have faith in Him that through our obedience He will bless us usually more ways than we can imagine.
God never separated the Sabbath commandment from thou shall not murder. Same unit what our salvation is from, sin.

What would say to someone with a family who can only find a job that requires Saturday work? He that doesn;t provide for his family is worse than an unbeliever and has denied the faith

We can find reasons to not keep any of the commandments, but this is where faith comes in. If God gives us a commandment, He will give us the power to keep and bless us for it. If we read the faith chapter Heb 11, they all trusted God first and based their actions on what God said.

Isa 56:2 Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it;
Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,

Trust God, He blesses un ten-fold when we obey.

Ahh I see, so someone who doesn't take a Sabbath rest once a week isn't in Christ, a non-Christian?

People can confess being a Christian but that doesn't mean they are. As Jesus said some confess they know him but they don't, correct?

Oh yay... yet another misguided Sabbatarian spreading the false gospel of law-adherence.

Really? Where is that in Scripture? Oh... it isn't.

The ten commandments were not given until the Israelites were at Sinai, about 2700 years after creation. Nowhere in Scripture is it suggested that they were "with God" prior to that.

Wrong. The ten commandments are part of the Sinai covenant.

The text does not tell us that the Gentiles "kept" the Sabbath; indeed, doing so would require them to make blood sacrifices, which they are forbidden from doing. The text merely tells us that they were in certain places on the Sabbath. Don't make unwarranted assumptions.
You are right...too many use proof texts to bolster their positions and opinions; whereas, we as believers must allow Scripture to interpret Scripture. And get to know it so well as to understand what parts explicitly apply to individuals, or a nation as a whole, or to Gentiles and those that apply specifically to Israel. Allowing Scripture to interpret Scripture will help us avoid some of the sectarianism and divisions we see even within our own chosen communions.

So basically you're putting a burden and condemnation on people through a subtle form of guilt.

That certainly isn't a 100% all the time. Blessings are gifts and nothing anyone can do to receive it. Keeping the sabbath may or may not bring blessings like a better job so people don't have to work on the weekend or something like that.

The claim of one man who makes videos for a living. The "study" is not available for review so we cannot determine the validity of his observations. Other studies appear to show a weak signal of a 7-day periodicity in various species, but it is not correlated with Saturday
Your lack of knowledge CRFTD, illustrates your misunderstanding that the sabbath,
was also made for beavers!

Lets see what the bible says:

Adam and Eve were blessed when they obeyed God, but the moment they disobeyed and listened to the "other spirit" in the garden that said they didn't really have to obey God, they wouldn't really die and listening to "the other spirit" over God, everything was cursed and they were thrown out of Eden. The devil still uses the same tricks that sadly people believe over God.

Deut 30:15 “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. 17 But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, 18 I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. 19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 20 that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

God does not change, He says He doesn't yet no one believes Him.

The curse is still there Rom 6:23, while many don't see it yet, they will as Judgement is the last day. We have another option and that is through faith and the help of the Holy Spirit we can obey Him by our cooperation and great love for Jesus. But sadly many still listen to the voice in the garden telling us the opposite of what God said.

God wants to bless us. but He wants His children to trust in Him, even if it doesn't make sense like sacrificing Issac, or keeping the seventh day Sabbath holy, His ways our above our ways and if we place our faith in Him over self, He promises to take care of our needs. I know this first hand when I started keeping the Sabbath at many great sacrifices but God has blessed me ten-fold just as He promises.

Isa 56:2 Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it;
Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,

Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

Without God's blessing we are nothing. And only He can reverse His blessing Num 23:20 man can't despite how hard they try.
