See? What's the point in debating when you and your buddies, established in your own self-deception, would rather treat me as though I'm a foolish child? You asked "who said I were looking for answers?" If you don't want answers to your own questions, why then ask them?
Again I ask where does Isaiah fit into all of this considering he wrote the book?
You are skirting the question. I asked WHO SAID THE THINGS ISAIAH WROTE. And you have yet to answer. why is that?

it is not about me and my friends. it is about you making claims yet when you are questioned you refuse to answer. why is that?

You may continue to believe what you want. God (Father which is Spirit) AND His Holy Spirit (which is ALSO Spirit) sent Jesus (who at the time I guess was ALSO Spirit) to talk through Isaiah???
you still do not get it..I asked you a simple question and your making it look like I am condemning you.

[SUP]12 [/SUP]“Listen to Me, O Jacob, And Israel, My called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last. [SUP]13 [/SUP]Indeed My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, And My right hand has stretched out the heavens; When I call to them, They stand up together.1

Are you saying this is isaiah? if not. Who is it?? is it that hard?

…....... He is YHWH. The Father. The same One on the throne in revelation who created all things. The Holy One of Israel.

He can;t be the father, He claimed the father sent him.

Isaiah 48: 12 “Listen to Me, O Jacob, and Israel, My called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last. 13 Indeed My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, And My right hand has stretched out the heavens; When I call to them, They stand up together. 14 '"All of you, assemble yourselves, and hear! Who among them has declared these things? The LORD loves him; He shall do His pleasure on Babylon, And His arm shall be against the Chaldeans. 15 I, even I, have spoken; Yes, I have called him, I have brought him, and his way will prosper. 16 Come ye near unto me, Hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I, and now the Lord God, and his Spirit, hath sent me.

If it is not the father or the Holy Spirit. then who is it??

You asked a question and I gave you an answer. The Lord God and His Holy Spirit are one and the same just as Jacob and Israel are. And again this matter can be cleared up if you can tell me where does the writer Isaiah fit into this. Is he just an empty vessel writing words by the spirit of jesus? Is Jesus beside him telling him what to write? Or is it as the bible says, that Isaiah being a PROPHET, was moved by the Holy Spirit and spake?

This operation did not change. As it is written the LORD sent His Angel before Israel to keep them in the way. Jesus being the express image of the LORD also is seen in revelation operating along the same structure.

The Human Jesus showed us how to worship God the Father.
God the Son worships no one.
Actually there are many times in the NT where it refers to the God of Jesus.
As you claim to be led by scripture here are a few examples
(Rom 15:6) that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(2Co 1:3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

(2Co 11:31) The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.

(Eph 1:3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

(Eph 1:17) that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

(Col 1:3) We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

(2Th 2:16) Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace,

(1Pe 1:3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

(Rev 1:5,6) and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.
To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

2252 posts and still going? What's clear to me is that no matter how many thousands of scriptures one throws out, to prove the deity of Christ, if a person is stuck in their ways they will reject it every time. Scripture must be accepted for what it is, not trying to make it fit with your belief. What does scripture say?

I posted many scriptures in my last post, but here's one again...

John 1:14: "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us"

It's an incredible thing, that God became flesh. I'm not sure why so many want to deny it.

Anyway, even if this thread does not succeed in convincing some of God's truths, at least it's keeping us studying :)

The word Trinity is not found in the Bible. But the concept is. In Genises 1:1 the word is Elohim. A plural word, yet translated as God. Singular. Elohim = more than one. All three are needed for salvation. The Father draws ll to Himself, Jesus paid with His blood, the Holy Spirit seals us for redemption. Unless the Father draws, they cannot come. Isaiah 44:6 "there is no one else", when speaking about salvation. Yet, There is no other Name under Heaven where we must be saved.(Jesus) I hope this helps. It is found all throughout the Bible. Trust in God, and seek Him through the Holy Spirit in prayer, and He will lead.

And?

Further, your truncated example from Rev 1 has the Greeting emanating from the Trinity.

Study up...

"Jesus" was born of a woman many years after Moses' death. What spoke to Moses was what He is of. The Holy Spirit.
The Body prepared for Jehovah was born of a virgin. The voice that speaks from an angel of the Lord is Jehovah. Is it so hard to believe that the same voice that occupied an Angel could also occupy the flesh of man?
