Popular assumption says he comes in peacefully. Not the text. While some sort of "peace deal" is likely to be part of the covenant. He breaks that covenant. Even if it was purely a "peace deal" How else would you break peace but by violence?
"That is what a 7 year Covenant means" Not definitely. That is what the likes of Hal Lindsay popularised.
