Personally I try to see if there is error in ones understanding. But if they try to express a false doctine then it's war. I do try to look out for babes in this forum. Or true seekers who do not have a grasp on some of the theologies, or foundational truths. I think I've expressed this in another thread.
It's simply not ok to entertain some of the idealisms that some seem to adhere to.

The only problem with that is.....who is to decide which truths are THE truth.
I like a civil debate, not many people understand what 'civil' means.

The bible decides what is true, not any person and certainly not me.

Which is why I am here. To have a catalyst that causes me to study, and to share what I have learned. Also yes to refute bad doctrine, which sadly this form is full of.
Sacramentarianism is bloody rampant, and when you refute it be prepared for the attack. It's a whole western evangelical theology issue.
Then the whole works based salvation, and the idea that one could lose salvation, and that salvation is some kind of decision. I still can't figure out how believing something is a decision. To believe something is to be compelled by evidence.

It's super discouraging to see what we believe to be the church fleecing the congregation; robing people who believe of God, of what he gave us, our communion with him.
We have made it about singing songs which is to say singing spiritual songs is important, but not as important his sacraments. We preach sermons which contain very little scripture, I don't understand why.

2 Timonthy 4:1-5KJV
1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Homosexuality is a trigger word for many, will you now police my thought and speech?

The emoji of sticking the tongue out is fitting of you, pictures speak a thousand words.
What‘s your obsession with homosexuality, my man?
So focused on one sin?

You know...there is a belief that,...nevermind. You’ll just turn this back into a homosexual related debate.

BTW, I noticed you like to debate the gentile souls around here?
...yet you ignore my questions?

Nice. 👍🏽

Couldn't we put all these theological questions aside as wonderful to think about, but never to use to judge others?

When Jesus was asked what the greatest law was, he didn't say all law was the same, he said this in Matthew 22: 36 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two.

To love others is to accept them and think the best of them. We can discuss how to understand scripture, but we are not to judge or gossip about people.

Christian community has its own political correctness Manifesto. Just try saying:

- "science states"
- "microevolution" (speciation, or adaptation of a Noah's ark "kinds" into diverse species. I used this term before on CC and brothers and sisters came insisting that I should absolutely not use the term and that it's wrong to use it. I was genuinely surprised, even after I explained my views the term was still opposed, it was like I used "the wrong pronoun")
- "evolution" - brothers and sisters who interpret the Bible different than the majority are vehemently renounced
- "amillennialism" - they are not "true" believers, they are "not saved"
- "the church is Israel" (comprised of both Jews and non Jews) - people immediately come screaming "replacement theology"
- "saved by grace alone" - there will always be people quick to accuse you of "preaching license". So you can't attribute all the glory to God without getting opposed or being forced to put up a politically correct disclaimer of obedience, which should be a no brainer.
Sometimes, it's enough to say "science"... :censored:

This is tiresome.
For a lot of people, the more something is banned and suppressed, the more they are considering it. That's certainly something to think about. You're actually pushing fellow Christians to consider whatever view you're so emphatically against, the more you do this, the more people will consider it.
I have not read past the OP.

I don't see what is wrong with using the words "science states" - the word 'science' refers to the collective whole of modern science 'thought' and the word 'states' (in this context) refers to something "issued" or "put forth" from 'science'.

Perhaps there is a misunderstanding of what 'microevolution' actually means?

Do people not understand that: 'microevolution' occurs; 'macroevolution' does not.

Of course, the term 'evolution' itself is such a wide-open problem-of-a-word for the Christian realm. However, if we understand the accepted definitions of words, we can at least have constructive conversations about the subject matter. We just need to keep in mind - what God has defined and what man has defined - and keep them separate where "accepted truth" is concerned.

Every time you say 'science', refer to 1 Timothy 6:20 also. :D

(HAHAHA - just kidding around)

Some 'science' is perfectly good. Some 'science' is not.

Christians should be the most 'mature' people on earth - when it comes to "being able to talk about anything"...

Christians should have the most complete and thorough understanding of the true nature of the reality we live in.

Christians should be able to 'handle' discussions about anything-under-the-sun with discernment and self-discipline.

 ??? :(

Homosexuality is a trigger word, it has captured your attention for response.

I have no idea what is meant on your comment on gentile souls, or about your questions

Gary as a christian in the 21st century, when the words (Science States) do you believe the (Scientist) mentioned are unbiased, in support of Gods words relating to the origins of man, his creation of the earth with its life, and the universe?

The secular world is trying to change words used, away from the historical biblical perspective, Christian's need to be aware of this?

Trigger Words Examples:

Evolution or Creation?

Animal or Creature?

Community or Neighborhood?

Microevolution or Adaptation?

The Scottish geologist Sir Charles Lyell was credited with first using 'evolution' in 1832 in the modern sense in biology about species. Interestingly, Charles Darwin used the word only once in the closing paragraphs of The Origin of Species (1859) — he preferred the clearer phraseology “descent with modification.”

Merely using the phrase "science states" ('states' as a verb) is like saying "Wikipedia states" - no truth is assumed by simply using the phrase. What is being stated may or may not be true.

No scientist is 100% unbiased - because - all are taught according to a system that teaches a mixture of methods that are part good and part faulty.

A scientist that believes the Word of God has a much better chance of being "on par" with the truth - if they base their 'science' on God's truth.

Unfortunately, most scientists today are not in this group - and, base their 'science' on the falsehoods that Satan has "injected" into the mix...

Even more unfortunate is the fact that people-at-large take anything that [modern] "science states" to be 'Gospel Truth'. This is very sad indeed.

The secular world is trying to change words used, away from the historical biblical perspective, Christian's need to be aware of this?
Yes - Satan is slowly changing just about everything these days, it seems. He is very active in his continual word-definition-changing operation.

You're clearly the one who fixated on it, and now you're accusing anyone else who even mentions it of the same? Utter hypocrisy!

There was a time when science was just science -- the objective reporting of natural phenomena, and the discovery of natural laws through experimentation. However, science began to be corrupted after the theory of evolution was introduced, and recently it has been weaponized for political reasons (including Global Warming and Climate Change).

The most glaring and recent hoax was the attack on hydroxychloriquine (HCQ), which is not only an established antimalarial drug, but has been proven effective against coronavirus in combination with zinc and erythromycin.

The public health officials in the West, as well as various politicized scientists, began a campaign to vilify HCQ (assisted by the mainstream media), and as a result hundreds of thousands have died from COVID. Now the FDA has shown that Remdesivir (touted by Gilead and Fauci) is totally worthless (but generated billions for a few rascals).
