Someone claiming to have 20 years at the university level as a post doctoral fellow...

should understand "most loved book" is hyperbole and cannot be empirically measured.

"Most loved" can't be measured or ascertained in ANY way;
this question HAS NO ANSWER, it's an absurdity.

THIS IS A NONSENSE STATEMENT.

the premise of the statement is quantity, doctor Maxwell

Makahila can't seem to ask one simple question without making the most obvious errors in basic logic.

Really, do you believe the KJV Holy Bible is the most published,
translated, read and loved book of all time ?
Yet he claims:

he's a graduate of TWO seminaries,
he's an expert in Greek and Hebrew,
he holds a Doctorate in education,
and he has 20 years experience working as a post doc.

I'll also add that most of his posts are copy/pasted all over the internet.
He seems to spam his posts all over the place... verbatim.

Yes, I said spam.
Go check it out for yourself.

He uses the same user name on dozens of forums.
Go check it out for yourself.
Lots of spam.

I write and lecture academic papers .

What I post I wrote, often from memory.

Try it !

There doesn't seem to be any evidence of any academic papers he's written.

However, you can look up his user name, and find him spamming the same arguments, verbatim, all over the internet.

You will also find lots of nice forums from which he's already been banned.

Draw your own conclusions, or look it up yourself.
Cheers.

Perhaps you wouldn't mind providing us the names of the Seminaries you attended so we can verify your academic credentials that you seem so proud of. Most of us here are well educated too but personally I do not talk about my academic credentials to anyone on this site. They are simply no one's business.

I'm know, you're so humble and educated, right, doctor,

well, be honest, what is the most published book of all time ?

Folks... this is the grammar of a guy claiming to have a DOCTORATE in EDUCATION.

A troll is a troll.

He can claim a Doctorate in education,
and I can claim to be a martian.
It's all good.

I am not sure I have ever seen so many comas in such few words. Makahiya, I think your academic claims are a sham. This seems self evident from the way you handle yourself in discussion and your childish attempts at defending your thesis statement. I have spent my life in higher education and you sir are a fraud.

Come on, you're a doctor, be precise and truthful .

You know there are over 400 (Christian, Catholic, Cult) Hebrew, Greek, Syrian, Latin,

German, English, etc., bibles which do not match in content, volume or doctrine.

You know the KJV Holy Bible is the most published, read and loved book of all time
.

Match what, the KJV? The KJV is not the standard friend. The standard is the original language of which it would seem you know little or nothing.

Yes, doctor oldhermit thinks that knowing the original languages

of the original manuscripts is more important than the language

of the most published, read and loved bible of all time .

Hey, doctor oldhermit, there are no original manuscripts !

Personally, I use a few different versions (KJV, NKJV, ASV NASB, ESV and so on). I don't care for the NIV as much as the others, but it can be helpful at times also, and I don't think there is a wrong version to use....even if it isn't exactly perfect, I believe God is big enough to use anything to achieve His purpose.
I was taught to read by the KJV, so it comes easy to me to read it now, but I understand that isn't the case for everyone. Like others have suggested, I use Biblehub.com or biblegateway.com if I come across a passage I just can't grasp, so I can easily read it in other versions until it makes me say, "so that's what it means" or something similar. Keep at it, study don't just read, and always pray before reading, for God to lead you to what He wants you to learn or see within the words, and you will get it. Like I said I learned to read by the Bible, so I have read it many times, and I still learn new things when I study it now. Trust me, you will learn something new every time you read it too. The best advice I can give anyone, when they are wanting to study the Bible is to let God lead you and to Go into it prayerfully and with love for the Lord, so it will be enjoyable to learn more about His nature and will.
If you ever have questions, feel free to ask someone too. Pastors, leaders and other Believers can give you their understanding of things to help you gain the full meaning of things too. I might not ask in an open forum, because everyone has their own understandings often (it might turn into a debate among the ones wanting to help you, and that can get confusing). But asking someone you trust to help you understand is a great way to form closer friendships and to gain a better understanding of things.
Peace!
