In April 18, 1775, John Adams and John Hancock were at the home of Reverend Clarke. British General Gage was pleading with the colonists to lay down their arms and all would be forgiven, except for Samuel Adams and John Hancock. That same night, Paul Revere arrived to warn them of the approaching Redcoats. The next morning British Major Pitcairn shouted to an assembled regiment of Minutemen; "Disperse, ye villains, lay down your arms in the name of George the Sovereign King of England." The immediate response of Reverend Jonas Clarke was:
"We recognize no Sovereign but God and no King but Jesus”.

We need to be ready, we need to put power back in the church and that is done by individuals, person by person. Please ask yourself, does anyone see Christ in you? Or is your life in Christ a hidden thing? We are so filled with the idea that works won't save us that we are careful to hide our works.
When Europe was in the dark ages, it was Christ who worked in people who brought it out into light. In the west of the US, it was wild and unsafe until the works of Christ brought safety to the west.
It is inevitable that the world will go through what Hitler gave us a peek of, but we can put off that tribulation to come if we will let Christ shine in us.

Jesus did not say that in Matthew 24 HE said there would be troubling times and the end would not be yet HE also spoke of the time that the world has never seen or will ever again. I also think it is very foolish to suggest those who suffer will deny Jesus because the Rapture has not happened yet and they correctly go through things. IF they are Christians now who do believe in the rapture and it doesn't happen how does that make them less saved than you who do not believe the rapture will happen? That is opinionated and wrong.

then there is no tribulation we have to worry about either. nothing you are against the rapture, tribulation period, the anti-christ is really going to happen. But yet you said those who hold to the rapture are in for a rude awakening, what are they going to wake too?

I guess that an't going to happen Jesus just lied to us all.
Thank you I was wondering why Jesus said in the last days there would be false prophets and those who scoffed and mocked and said " where is the sign of HIS coming " and Would HE even find faith on the earth.
