I find the idea that Christ stopped what His Father said, Christ changed everything and did not support His Father more than wrong.

When the Father freed the slaves in Egypt, it was important to the Father and there is much scripture devoted to it. It gave the story of the Son. If we use that information as a reason that the Son tells us not to celebrate it, and do with it what some of these posts do, I think it is a terrible thing to do.

When the Colossians wee told by Paul to disregard people telling them they can't do anything like that, Paul told them not to listen to such talk. I agree with Paul.

No other place in time but right now. He wanted us YOU here right now! I believe that. The greatest day to be alive! To see our savior.

You usually stop doing something when it's finished. That's kind of the idea, Jesus said some words when he died. He said it is finished.
I know it's impossible for you to understand that those feast days had specific instructions given by God. Those instructions included the high priest making sacrifices, and making offerings to God. Those feasts were the eating of the sacrificed and offered food items. If you don't do those prescribed ordinances by God, you aren't keeping the feasts. Jesus is the high priest and has made the final sacrifice. There is no sacrifices left, there is no temple, so there is no feasts, but the one that our high priest has given us. His body as bread, his blood as wine, at the new temple which he has given us, our own bodies, and our holy convocations which is his church built upon the rock of the revelation that He is.

When something is finished it means that it is now ready for use, rather than something that is now ready to throw away. Finish sewing a garment, it is ready to wear. Fulfill something--like filling a gas tank in a car and the car is ready to drive.

Christ fulfilled all that was told of Him, Christ made perfect God's plan of grace, so now we can all have eternal life. Christ made ready for use, Christ did not put a stop to anything of the Father.

Well, good luck with your sacrifices, finding a priest and all and your trip to the temple, and your week stay in a tent.

You should be celebrating the feast of weeks right now, it sure gonna be a rough one to find a priest to wave those loaves of bread before God, which would be the alter.
