Are the people in the Bible Discussion forum an older group than they used to be? It seems like when I first joined, there were only a very few of us old people here. Now it seems like there are quite a few of us.

My wife calls me, "a young old guy", if the apparent increase in the number of old people on this forum lived a long and healthy life as Noah did I would still be a, "young old guy" what's a few years any way compared to eternal life Jesus :)

Genesis 9:29
"All the days of Noah were 950 years, and he died" -

One will NOT hear anything from us; but mabey if were lucky, through us, for if we are yours, and you are are's, and the elder will indeed serve the younger, as changed by Our Father, @ the time of Essau's and Jacobs/Israels inheirintances.

Then we can do nothing, but to direct one to the Original Fire, The Ancient Kryptonite, The Immoveable Force, Our Father's, Spoken, Written, Confirmed, Affirmed and Living Word, Christ/Messiah The Living Water that Christ/Messiah himself said; 'drink of this water and thou shalt not thirst Evermore. The WORD of OUR Father/Torah/LAW.

Forever in Christ. ;)

Decades of theoretical education will be equal to approx 3 years of practical learning. I believe this. So, elders will have practical life experience which will be a good guidance for us.

Thanks and I am blessed to be with you all,

Yes, that sounds about right, IF, your thirsty : ) as my Pastor/Teacher takes 4 years to go through the whole Bible, broken up into 40min. study periods, daily, in which I sucked up in about 2 years; as I was real thirsty too ;)

I am curious though, out of the 'old people here', what are their denominations? As in, by and large, what do they believe? In my experience most old people who are active or vocal on forums or in 'study groups' are typically mainline believers in whatever religion they adhere to. Being raised Roman Catholic it's strange for me to see people older than 40 vocally active, it's kind of the norm for people older than 40 where I'm from to just have their disagreements or whatever and just keep going to Church and going through the motions.

I don't know. Just my experience.

well all i know is 40 is important in the bible and they say life begins at 40.
but will yer still love me when im 64.
aging should be like bottle of wine the older it gets the more it matures and the nicer it tastes.
the time we have left becomes more preciouse the more we should look to enjoy life.

I hadn't noticed any old people on CC. Old is a state of mind. So is the state of denial. I've heard that seventy is the new forty. Of course time has no meaning for those who are eternally secure in the Savior.

I get to speak with authority at 88!! Maybe.

I don't think you can put old people, young people, whatever in a box and say that is true of all in that box. Everyone grows from their roots. Some grow and some just perch where they are.

If older people are into growing, they are worth listening to, they have had more time to stuff bible into their minds to grow on.
