The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
Exodus 15:2

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
Rev 3:20

Come Lord Jesus and eat with us, and help us learn to walk in your ways,
empowered by the Holy Spirit and your love, Amen

and amen peter ! i echo that belief !

the truth is that so many people dont really want to change, thats why the grace alone doctrine is so enticing. it offers " salvation" and also allows a person to say whatever im doing wrong, isnt on me. Ive heard such things as " repentance is actually a boast of the flesh " that " Jesus words are good, but thoier really not supposed to be believed and obeyed that will just lead a person astray" so many strange ideas come from Just one false doctrinal idea. sort of like a link in a chain, when one is broken so is the chain. Its truly all about submitting to Jesus and believing His words above all else, that is the grace that teaches us to say no to ungodliness and to live upright godly Lives in this present age while we wait for Jesus." the true Grace of God, is found in the ministry of Jesus, its the grace that teaches repentance, and obedience to the Lord. May that Grace Reign through TheLord Jesus Christ

gb9 - I hate to use the words, inappropriate, but this is not a wise contribution.

We all admit we need Christ as our saviour, you deny it brings victory to your life,
I believe it does.

You want to create a picture I deny my need when this is my hearts breadth.

It does make me wonder who you think I am or why you believe so deeply I am evil
and just lying. I say this because the words I share consistently come with one message,
but it seems to be something you hate and deny is real.

It must be a great challenge to who you are to have to translate things this way, or else
you would have to change. But this is the power of God at work. Ofcourse it cannot be
the power of God in your eyes, because that would mean you are wrong and deceived.

Oh there is the problem. But the mind is very powerful and easily bent to create an
acceptable outcome. Without walking closely with my Lord, this would not be possible.
I can imagine how people in the past folded to your onslaughts. What judgement will
fall on you for hurting and leading astray the weak of the Lords chosen.
just for the record, I do think you are evil, just mis-guided . I have no interest in " making people fold". I lead no one astray. see, in the legalist world, me admitting that I am not perfect and sinless, and , based on the Bible, that no one else is either, is " bad". because why? because I tell the truth about myself, I am not self-righteous. grace salvation is not leading anyone astray.

Amen to honesty about where you are.
Now if a person was a psychopath, and had killed people and had no feelings about it,
they could and often do talk about their crimes, and like the attention it gets. They
are being honest and open but they are totally lost.

Now if Jesus to people is just this and a smooth coat of faith on top, it is not worth
Jesus coming and dying for people, because all the love in the world has made no
difference to this man.

If it is all God, magically changing them, the Lord could do this without the cross.

But the whole point is we are like the King, we have chosen to walk in love.
It is an odd kind of chosen, because Jesus has done it all, and opened up the door
and calls us in. We are like sheep listening to our shepherd.

not being sinless and perfect is WHAT we all are, it is not " where we are". we will never be perfect this side of Heaven.

Now if you believe these words then we agree.
God always changes us so we can recognise who Christ is. To understand righteousness
and then to walk in it is a work of God, but we still have to follow.

No peter You do not agree, You do not say, God powers us, Then say we can resist God.. That is boasting in self. and not relying on the power of god.

My bible says the one who began a good work in me will perfect it until the day of Christ, It does not say God will fail YOU are the one saying God can fail Because you put self will above God

But the group you belong to have denied it is even possible to walk in righteousness.

Liar Liar pants on fire. I am so sick of this crap Peter. When are you going to listen to what people say, and stop slandering them?

EG - Do you know how disrespectful this language is?

What the truth hurts? I can not help that peter. Maybe you need to change?

You said God accepts us how we are.

Then (when you were confronted) Said only as long as we walk in righteousness..

You placed a condition on a statement which you origionally said there were NO CONDITIONS.

You are a briar of thorns. Your intention is to rip up and attack.
So first you slam me for being disrespectful then you pull up this garbage? Wow dude, does your pride have no end?

You lied Peter. plain and simple.

it is very simple as you said peter- it is simple. one is either perfect, which is God's standard, or you are not , so you need a savior. there is no in between .

A religious person can not see this,, That have watered down Gods law so they can jump over it, and appear righteous..

in the words of DR Phil the word but means forget what i said before the word but and now I will tell you how it really is after the word but example I love you but you make it difficult for me to love you which means forget the I love and just look at the you make it difficult for me to love you

Yes, It is sad people can be this way, and not even see it. How can they be so contradictory, yet not see it?

Being righteous (perfect) and walking in righteousness (walking in the spirit, or in Gods will) are two different things.

That is what the religious can not comprehend It is like saying God accepts us exacty how we are. But only if we meet this standard..

"No peter" - sorry. You are telling me what I believe and how I believe. Ofcourse we can
resist God, it is called sin. You are totally loosing it.

"this crap Peter" - you appear to have no memory. When we discuss openly, walking
righteously, acceptably before the Lord, your group says nope, cannot be done.
Contributor after contributor says they sin daily, hourly.

So I am confused. You abuse me, are rude to me, and cannot hold a simple discussion
with known positions. You are in a sorry state.

This is where I go, medic ... lol

Thankyou EG.

In your mind walking without sin (perfection), is different from walking in Gods will. So it is
possible to sin within Gods will. Or to put it another way, God wants us to sin.

Now in the world of concepts, if a sinner can never be cleansed and washed clean, so
never be regarded by God as pure and blameless, then salvation is impossible.

So for the believer to be cleansed, to be pure, to be blameless as Paul writes he must
become perfectly acceptable to God.

Now walking in the Spirit is walking without sinning, doing Gods will. So this ofcourse is
a good thing and not separate from having the love of the Father on us.

But it is all without sin. Now please can you explain how sin in your ideas comes into
this because it is all very confusing and sounds like you are just excusing rebellion.

The standard is to walk in love, as slaves to righteousness.
Is there something I am missing?

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
John 13:34

I get the feeling following commandments is not your thing, and saying I am speaking
"crap" is neither respectful or true.

But God said his children will walk in his ways, Not the way of the world. Who do you trust? God or yourself?

God said he has perfected those he is sanctifying (growing) who do you trust, God or you?

God said he began a good work in us and he will not stop until he completes it.. Who do you trust God or yourself?

Me. I trust God,

I never said a man would never sin again, I said man would walk in righteousness, Because God said he would I trust God, His children walk, Those who are NOT HIS CHILDREN, or are ILLIGITAMENT children do not.

No peter. Your the one with no memory.

My group? I have no group. thats your first error. I do not go to the same churches or denomination as these people. so get off this.

second.. We say we can WALK in righteousness. But we are ONLY righteous (perfect) because of God in us.

You can not seperate the two. thats why you do not understand it. and continue to slander us.

So I am confused. You abuse me, are rude to me, and cannot hold a simple discussion
with known positions. You are in a sorry state.
So you abuse, Are rude, Attack, And slander others and thats ok. And it is not ok to call you out on it?

You are a proud man Peter.

This is where I go, medic ... lol

No, thats where you go attaack mode. only to protect yourself.. it is called protect self at all cost. then blame shift. So you look good in the end..

No one is fooled peter Except sadly you

for God so loved the WORLD that he sent his only begotten Son.......... do not mix up O.T. and N.T.
it actually says:

For God loved the world in this way: He gave His only begotten Son that whosever believes in Him will not perish but has eternal life.

The standard is the law, Perfection. No sin, For all have sinned, are sinning, and will sin and fall short of Gods glorious standard.

The standard is perfection. the only people who meet it are those who have not sinned, And in scripture the only one who met that standard was christ.

One sin, no matter how small. causes us to by guilty, and in need of salvation.

Why do you water down Gods standard then get mad when people say you water down his standard?

Your standard is not gods standard.
