Anything that 'condemns" you is not from God as a Christian...satan 'accuses " us...Isaiah 54 is after Christ died for us in Isaiah 53

Isaiah 54:14-15 (NASB)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] "In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; And from terror, for it will not come near you.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] "If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you.

Isaiah 54:17 (NASB)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me," declares the LORD.

Satan is called the accuser.................

Nobody is calling God the accuser, as rebuking and reproving is not accusing...........

Accusing is when you bear false witness on another, or state something on another they never said.

God rebukes and reproves those who are His, as the chastening of the Lord done through the Holy Spirit will be felt when we sin. And His rebuking and reproving is "ALWAYS" for correction and restoration !!!

If there is no correction or restoration in the chastening (rebuking/reproving) of the Lord then it is not the Truth being given.

Which is what the whole false teaching of having one put to death when in unrepented sin to save their soul does, there is no correction or restoration in that teaching thus making it false !!!

why does satan bother you? if he believed like you he wouldn't waste his time "bothering you"

the devil doesn't believe in unconditional eternal security.......that's why he fights us!

we are not on a spiritual playground but a battlefield.........

John 6:36 (NASB)
[SUP]36 [/SUP] "But I said to you that you have seen Me, and yet do not believe.
John 6:64 (NASB)
[SUP]64 [/SUP] "But there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was that would betray Him.
These again do not say never believed, and the context also is referring to the fact that they are not believing in what He is telling them.

They walked away because they did not believe He was telling them the Truth, and Jesus even asked the main 12 if they wanted to leave also because they at times did not trust in what He was saying.

Their response was where else could they go, and that He had the words of eternal life !!!

Jesus said the Spirit gives life, and the flesh profits nothing........John 6:63

He then said in this same verse that His words are spirit, meaning you reject to follow what He said then you are rejecting the Holy Spirit. Which is the same as what He said before that His words are not of His own but are from God, therefore reject to keep and obey His teaching and you are rejecting God.

There is more to unbelief then just not believing He exists !!!

Rebuking and reproving is not condemning................................

This doesn't answer the question........

You brought up condemning and I asked who is condemning who ???

If nobody is condemning another then it should not have even been brought up, yet I have seen it being done on here and the main one's I have seen condemning others is been from the OSAS or hyper-grace crowd.

Just go look at the many threads on Catholic on here to see the condemning going on...........

The usage of "NEVER BELIEVED" are not in John 6...........

Please lets stop playing games with God's word and adding things that are not said there, as John 6:66 says they "went back" and "walked with Him no more."

It does not say they never believed to begin with !!!
Jesus knew from the BEGINNING who did not believe.

Nice try Ken.. but you do not get the reward for getting it right this time.

notice the word keepeth....then notice the 3 letters on the end "eth" that make it present tense!
I did not know the three letters "eth" were in the greek text.

It does not matter anyway, I already posted the whole passage and proved your interpretation is flawed. (John said he who sins has never seen God or known him, he who is born of God can not sin) So "eth" does not matter.

the people who are condemning are those who say if you do not do these things, you are condemned, Or if you are saved, and do not do these things, then you are condemned again.

sadly, SOme people condemn others, while in denial they are even doing it.

This had nothing to do with you....don't feel so guilty..

A couple of us where talking about how satan is "accusing; us in our walk..and it's not God..I believe it stated at post #146..which again had nothing to do with you...:)

This was my post to answer #146

satan is called the "accuser".....he loves to 'accuse" you of everything......it's funny how Christians will call God the "accuser" .....religious traditions are so stupid!

This below was the original post...
I am so glad I came out of it, Although I still struggle with it some. Satan uses it against me, and it is not easy to resist.

did you even read what you posted before you hit enter?
1 John 3:23-24 (KJV)
[SUP]23 [/SUP] And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
[SUP]24 [/SUP] And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

notice the word keepeth....then notice the 3 letters on the end "eth" that make it present tense!
Salvation and abiding in Christ are two different, totally different subjects.

Salvation~~the moment we believe......BOOM, your saved, have eternal life, from death to life, NEVER perish,No condemnation.

Abiding in Christ~~The Christian way of life. On going sanctification in this life. Every time we grieve or quench the Spirit.....we are not abiding in Christ or LIVING the Christian way of life.

Are we truly abiding in Christ if we can't take Him for His word or have to "change" the clear meaning of these verses?.................

New American Standard Bible
and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

New American Standard Bible
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

New American Standard Bible
for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

Again you are the one who brought up saying condemning, and brought up some calling God the accuser.........

I don't feel guilty at all and was just asking you who was doing this ???

The reason for my question is because you like to constantly just say and throw things out there in the threads that nobody is doing, and my response to you as I said to you in PM is to please not do that...

For that makes you look like the false accuser when you throw things out there that are not being said.....

We need to stick to discussing the topic and not willy nilly just toss things around !!!

Satan tries to make us continue to feel guilty of our past sins that have been forgiven, and comes and attacks us to try and move us away from Christ.

The only way to stand firm in Christ is to stand firm in His teachings and commands, it is those who do not do as He said that Jesus said do not have their foundation built on Him. James goes further and calls such deceived, and Hebrews says they will still perish !!!

This is why Paul said by walking in the Spirit we put an end to the ways of the flesh, because His ways will not lead us to transgress............

It's true Kenneth...religious people all the time say it's God "doing things" to you....accusing you ..against you..whatever term they want to use...don't take it so personal..if you do not do those things..then that is a good thing!

When someone posts things like ...."doing righteous deeds doesn't make you righteous"..I don't get all defensive ..I just agree with the truth of it....

..again don't take posts that have nothing to do with you so personal....everything is ok...it's all good....

Please would you answer the questions posed to you instead of trying to ignore them and reverse the issue back on others !!!

I am not taking anything personal so please stop deflecting and just simply answer the questions, or just avoid them and say no thanks and move on.

Trying to reverse it back on another and making more false accusations in the process is unbecoming........

Or how about this to see if they can be honest with you:

Why don't you ask Eternally-grateful and FreeNChrist why I have the two of them on ignore, if they are honest they will tell you the truth ??? If they say it is just because of a simple disagreement, they are lying !!!

I told you that it had nothing to do with you....just accept it and move on....

For example I hear all the time that God makes you sick to teach you things....there are lot's of foolish lies like this in this world

Ok....if it will make you happy...I will try to remember to tell you when I see when God is being accused wrongly happening before my eyes again......I will be the first to alert you of it....:)

falling from grace is a matter of doctrine. It means falling away from the doctrine of grace and relying on something else such as law works. But a man who is already trusting in the grace of God for salvation will find that practically he falls into grace. God will deliver him for his error and he will again rest in the grace of God..

he has us on ignore because he claims we do what he does all the time.

He tells people they believe in things they don't. then gets man when we infor him he does nnot know what we believe.

Yet when we say he is earning his salvation, (even though we have proven over ad over he does believe that very thing) he gets mad..

It is his pride..
