One of the post's have already told you that faith is a fruit of the Spirit and you have to be born of the Spirit before you can understand anything that is of a spiritual nature according to 1 Cor 2:10-14. Yes, faith comes by hearing, but you can not hear and understand unless you have already been born of the Spirit.

No verse says one is born again then believes for that idea is in total opposition to what the bible teaches.

Again, Jn 6:45 men of his own free will "cometh to Christ" and not forced by God or unconditionally predetermined by God to come to Christ.

---who are chosen, according to the foreknowledge of God the father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood.--- (1 Pet. 1: 1, 2)

What did God foreknow? God bless.

Yes, faith is a work of God, a gift of God (Rom. 12: 3) and paradoxically a response of the heart of man. (Rom. 10: 9)
God bless.

God gives grace to the humble but resists the proud. (1 Pet. 5: 5)

IMHO man does have a part, but it is only the accepting of, and surrender to the truth.

Jesus said, "He who has believed and has been been baptized shall be saved." (Mark 16: 16)
The apostles were asked by 3,000 souls who believed the message and were pierced to the heart, "Brethren, what shall we do?." Peter replied, "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2: 38)
When our theology contradicts plain, simple statements in the Scriptures, it may be time to evaluate our theology again.
God bless.

The Scriptures tell us that those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel await eternal destruction. (2 Thess. 1: 8, 9)
God bless.

Ephesians 2:8 (Amplified Bible) - For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; 9 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]
