Well yeah. But Satan is attacking the church today. He is not bound from doing this. Just as he was never able to wipe out Israel. he will never be able to wipe out the church. Bound or not. It ain't happening. Satan has no power over God. never has never will. he does not have to be bound to keep him from doing it. He does not have the power to do it.
the whole point is that we have already overcome him and the world, by what Christ Our Righteousness has done for us, and by our testimony of Jesus. when we are killed by the world, this works their judgment, and our reward.
Rev 20 only concerns one thing: the end time all out assault.
he has not been allowed to bring this great war on the saints about throughout time, but is allowed to in his little season.
the nominal professors of Christ who are not saved will be sifted during that time. many will not remain faithful unto death, proving i suppose they really never trusted Him anyways.
most will be killed, though as Paul told us in 1 Thess, not all will die, some will be alive at the Second Coming...
