have a good day.
Sincerely Alex.

I'm gonna pick on you Blue just because you set yourself up. Sometimes I think people around here are too ready to scream troll rather than give someone a chance.

It is entirely possible that the person is a troll and if they are they will be dealt with accordingly, but it is also entirely possible that the OP is a youngster that has been thoroughly indoctrinated with the atheistic liberal agenda an truly has no clue how wrong they are.
When a "youngster" is "indoctrinated" he/she does NOT click on sites that teach him/her everything she/he wants to believe, because he/she already believes it. That would be like me looking up websites to make sure 1 + 1 = 2. I already thoroughly believe that so why waste time looking for it?

BUT, when I was a youngster and did believe abortion was a good alternative for mommy and daddy not affording a girl the luxury of birth control pill, I wondered if it really was. So I investigated. I didn't merely hit Planned Parenthood for the lit, I checked to see what the other side was saying. This "youngster" immediately found the top SERPs for the keywords typed to say the Bible is sexist and homophobic. This is obvious, since looking at the Bible presents the obvious evidence neither word was ever used in it. And, since this "youngster"has the wherewithal to both look up the top SERPs AND find the easiest forum to bother Christians with, apparently the "youngster" does fully understand how to work the web, thus this isn't merely "indoctrination." This is a flagrant attempt to mess with Christians just for fun.

More evidence, the inability to figure out something as simple as "Reply with Quotes" (to pretend naive youth,) while having the sophistication of knowing how to do a blue-link connection with words vs. simply with the URL address. About the equivalent of claiming not to know how to ride a bike while doing a wheelie down the street.

AND someone innocent of being a troll would not respond with "No, I'm not a troll. I'm just..." (I would tell what someone innocent would say, but don't want to teach trolls effective trolling techniques.)

(Again. That degree in communications was very much about how to convince others into buying stuff they don't need, so I can see the telltale signs of the hustle, and a few years in counseling youth and people in crisis really did tell me when someone is going with a lie. I can understand word use and expressions.)

And, just because the user name is so obvious and habit forming, I can even name which previous (and possibly still active under another account) user name this troll has already been.

I really do give people a chance to prove not-a-troll, but this one is so obviously troll, I cannot believe three pages have already been wasted on someone just playing games.

And, yes, the next thing would be, "But others can lurk and see this thread," but, Yo! It's not like this is original content, so they can already see those threads!

It is possible this person is not a troll. It is also possible that someone legitimately wants to sell an expensive car for $100. I remember a wife sold a Mercedes Benz for $50 because the court told her she had to sell it and then give her ex half the money, so she did. It's possible. It's highly unlikely.

What did you mean your curiosity about a homosexual attraction doesn't REALLY pertain to you? How much of it DOES apply to you?

Does anyone know of an online website where I could talk one on one with someone so it'd be easier for me to receive answers? Thanks.

Sincerely Alex.

No please I'm not trolling
I just need somewhere to answer my questions about the bible and such and I always get hate for my questions when I'm not trying to be rude or something .
The Bible says homosexual activity goes against nature, it's not the natural order. In fact, biblical marriage is the sexual act, not saying vows in front of a pastor, but when two become one flesh naturally. Gay women or men cannot do that.

It's God's order of things. We are not to question His design, just believe His word and follow it.

I started reading this thread when it was already at page four, otherwise I would have replied to the young man.

Why did no one explain to him how to use the "reply with quote" button after so many expressions that he did not know how to reply to specific posts???

Why did so many ASSUME that he is a liar (a troll) ..... maybe he was just a confused thirteen year old who is seeking legitimate answers to questions about God's point of view ....

I think of my thirteen year old daughter facing this type of response from ?"Christians"? and shudder.

This display was just shameful ...

Our children are facing stuff that we never dreamed of. They need help and guidance more so than we did. When I was in High school, no one even thought about being gay and if you were found out to be gay then you would have to leave and go to another school. However, when I was in High school 70 % went to church and were taught wrong from right. Now churches teach wrong as right, so who is to blame? Society or the church?

The world of course causes this confusion. Many teens now believe their sex is a choice rather than something they were born with.

But the "church" here did not respond with love and gentleness to try to erase the confusion. They made him uncomfortable about his confusion and very likely scared him away from talking to "christians" again about this. He came to the right place - he was looking for God's answers ... now will he turn back to the world for answers?

The world has no answer, Being gay is a sin, just like any other sin. Seems like He knows this, but his flesh is torn to it. Like an addiction to Alcohol or drugs or sleeping with a different girl every night. the only way to be free is by the cross of Christ and faith in it. We can't be bleeding hearts, we tell the truth and let the chips fall. All we can do is speak the word and let the Holy Spirit do the rest. If they will not heed the Holy Spirit then we can do nothing only pray.
