A.W.Tozor wrote a great book , NONE DARE CALL IT HERESY, which every onr should read. He condemned this false gospel of faith only. John MacArthur and John Pipper condemn it. I condemn it, any pastor that is worth his "salt" condemns it. This is a very arigant self centered church we have today. Hoffco

Nope, I'm not saying that at all. Jesus says to follow Him. He also said to follow the Law. If you love me, obey my commands.
The law was through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. The truth he spoke are his commands.

Matthew 5:19

" Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoeverkeeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
Are you denying that GOD has the power to annul his own commandments?

if your, only look at the gospels ,then you miss the change, from new to old, because jesus was sent to a jewish people / nation.
and is wrote to us now, 2000 yrs like a history book. as in nothing changes when it down on paper.that dose not mean we cant learn from jesus or what he said or did, or spirital understandings. etc
when the holy spirit was given to us or who, are gentiles by birth was after penticost. so going back to the gospels to build law of moses back in to grace is pointless. again alot of post have echoed this.

4But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.[19] 6Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba,[20] Father.” 7So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.Galatians 4

so no longer are you a slave to law, but a son of god, and all that read the bible and pray to god/jesus have different understanding. this dose not mean we will all have the same understanding. because he teaching us as a father at a personal level. etc

Of course I understand the implications of the law spiritually my friend my point is over 125 pages of debate reading most I confess, we are no clearer to uniting Jew n gentile for both respect it both try to observe it both value it as gods law bt literal strict adherence through the efforts of the flesh are simply futile and could be endlessly argued ? Another point I was trying to make is if we are to follow the law we are under its total obligations no picking here n there ? As for me I believe we are saved by grace and faith in our lord Jesus as I view him as the law if we will surrender to his will surely we fill the spiritual aspects and implications you yourself mentioned

He certainly has that power. But since He said those things are eternal, and that He doesn't change, and Jesus said that until heaven and earth passes away would the least of those commands be annuled, it wouldn't make much sense for Him to do so.

Hoffco, we are sold into sin.
It's part of the Adamic birthright.
Remember, if we are made bond servants to sin by the first Adam, how much more are we made free from it by the second? (Jesus)
But this is wholly talking about the substitutionary work of the perfect savior.
To claim otherwise is frankly, blasphemy.
All our works are as filthy rags.
You are mixing up sanctification with salvation.

That is pelagianism, and it was rightly deemed heretical by the church fathers.

Now, I can agree with Herose from the dead,, God does have the right to annul His own laws. Which Jesus did do, because Jesus is God , he gave the laws and He alone can change His laws. Now to the past condemnation to you , Sorry ,for my roughness to you; you spoke so confussingly that I took you the wrong way, I think, that is what happened. We must all know that ,some one is not saying the truth very straight, or there wouldn't be so much confusion, UNLESS, some one is "of the Devil" in here. Sorry, but there is a lot of the Devil's work thru those who talk here. The "end time " deception .from God, yes, but implamented by the Devil in churches and here, is very seriously braking our fellowships up. Love to all who love His truth, Hoffco

Sorry, Rich, you don't know what sal. is about. SANCTIFICATIO is SAL> It is not a second work of Grace. that is heresy. We don't need a second work od grace to make us obey, the new birth gives us a new heart to obey
God. "freed from sin and enslaved to God is sal. to obey leads to eternal life. Rom.6:22 If you don't agree, you are a heritic, sorry about that, it is the truth. love to all who obey the truth, Hoffco

There is room in gods house for disagreeing Christians?, there has to be, for not all are at same level of knowledge, that dnt make them devils or speak as one brother , we must have forebearance for each other as we may all well believe we know the truth bt this doesn't mean we know it all? When truth does come we all shall see as each other ought. Amen

God has the right to annul his laws?
What are you claiming now?
GOD DOES NO SUCH THING!
Stop while you're behind.
God is not a man that He should change His mind, there is no shadow of turning in Him.
To say God changes His mind is to equate Him with fallen man, who is double minded.
JESUS FULFILLED THE ENTIRETY OF THE LAW!
God is perfect.......so is His law.
God cannot rescind His Word because He is perfect, so is His Word, - that is why there is "no shadow of turning" in Him.
Also, that is why His "Word is settled forever in heaven"!
The whole of the law was fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
Also, that is why Jesus, to grievous effort, made sure that whatever He did; it was to "fulfill all righteousness"!
