I differ in that believers in Christ are to edify, and not dispute. So if you say that conflict between professing Christians is not wrong, I object. There will be conflict between non-believers and believers however, and that’s why I mentioned the Pharisees having conflict with Christ. They started it by asking our Lord leading questions for the purpose of proving He was all wrong. They had totally distorted the law, according to their self-righteous attitude, and Jesus came to set it right. So in reference to how we should treat each other, here are some scriptures.

Romans 12:16 (KJV)
[SUP]16 [/SUP]Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

1 Corinthians 1:10 (KJV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Philippians 3:16 (KJV)
[SUP]16 [/SUP]Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

Romans 14:19 (KJV)
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
So was Paul wrong to confront Peter on his hypocrisy?

Luke 6:44-45 (KJV)
[SUP]44 [/SUP]For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
[SUP]45 [/SUP]A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Matthew 7:20 (KJV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP]Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Your point?

One who commits adultery has violated the law of Christ (love) and must answer to him and seek forgiveness, He does not answer to the law of Moses.

[h=3]Romans 13:8-10[/h]King James Version (KJV)

8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law

You mean like some people in here?? They do the same thing the pharisees do. They are nothing but modern day pharisees. Whether they claim Christ or not.

Although I agree with you here, just posting as to what EG is talking about.
Yes, the part of the Law being required to be kept for salvation. As apposed to being saved by grace in the work of the promised one.

Amen, Thats why we do not follow the law of moses. But the law of love.. The Law of moses is only good at condemning us.

God's point, Jesus' Words. You were confused and confusion is not from God. So I give you the words of Jesus so you would listen to Him, not me. Differentiating between believers and non believers.

1 Corinthians 2:15 (KJV)
[SUP]15 [/SUP]But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

Discernment, not condemnation

2 Corinthians 13:5-6 (KJV)
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
[SUP]6 [/SUP]But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.

So let them attack you before you do them like the Pharisees did Jesus. Jesus didn't search them out to condemn them, they sought Jesus out to condemn Him.

Every time they preach their false gospel of works, they are attacking those who are saved. They do not have to attack you personally. Do you think Paul waited for the false teachers to attack him personally? or did he call them out?? Did John wait for them to attack him before he called them a brood of vipers? Did Jesus always wait? He confronted them even when they did not say a word.

He was saying that the keeping of the Law WAS required for salvation for those who were under it.

Nope.

That is the spiritual aspect. The part of the mosaic law is the physical aspect. You can't mix the two now. One is a part of the mosaic law. The other is the part the mosaic law teaches.. Back to the schoolmaster.

if your going to follow mosaic. You must do the physical. Or you have broken the law.
Speaking of physical and Spiritual circumcision, both being in the Mosaic Law, and identified by you as not being the same, you are right, they aren't. They are just given by the same God, written by the same person.

I thought that's what you believed.

Now I understand that you believe that the Mosaic law is physical only. I see now why you are so dead set against it. Where we can't come together is that I think it's Spiritual through God's Spirit, given to us through Christ Jesus, for God is Spirit. He gives us the Holy Spirit to see the Spiritual things that God set forth. I don't judge you for separating the two, but I judge for myself in that I see it as a Spiritual asset.

Do you identify these people as ones that are attacking your ministry, and distorting others thoughts that you are trying to minister to?

Thanks, c.

Yes, in the sense that the Jews understood that righteousness was by law-keeping.

And in the sense that the sacrifices were required for forgiveness and reconciliation with God.

They understood their relationship with God to be based on faithfulness in law-keeping.

yeah a figured that.

and no one was saved by it.. those who where saved(like david) understood, sacrifice and burnt offering you did not desire.

I was just checking, because there are those who believe they could only be saved by law..

Okay, so you don't mean a spiritual meaning that can be hidden from believers.

But you seem to use it sometimes in reference to believers.

That is what was confusing me
.

Read it again.

I am not confused about Jesus' words.

I am confused by your application of them.

I identify these people as false prophets and teachers.

i identify this room as a spiritual church. where people are coming to learn about God and share

Thus I see what they are doing no different than what Paul spoke against, What Christ fought, and what John the baptist tried to prevent (the pharisees where not even against john when he called them a brood of vipers.
