You're describing the experience of the "Just Man" who falls but rises again, which is not the same as the OSAS "Presumptuous Man" who thinks salvation is a License to Sin".
Someone who holds to "OSAS" does not necessarily believe that salvation is a license to sin. Not only are you confusing correlation (questionable in itself) with causation, but you are painting a very large group of people with a very large brush.

How about this: IF you ever come across someone who actually believes that salvation is a license to sin, then address their error. Until then, drop it, because you're so far off base, you're playing in the next county.

yes and no. I know there is a difference, I can see your point. But you do see that a just man can fall away and comeback,. Thats good I'm happy with that. I'm glad you recognise that too, as it seems many here want to have you seen as totally against eternal security. I'm so please your not, thanks again I understand completely where your coming from now. Hopefully those who are preaching OSAS with an agenda and want to keep repeating you are wil now repent, let's see.

All tho Judging how easy OSAS gets other people preaching OSAS with an agenda to promote an enemy out of a Christians like your self with presumptuous sin , I doubt it.

You don't know a lot about Christianity or you wouldn't get it all twisted. We confess and forsake our sin when we come to Christ through the grace of God's free unchangeable gift of faith and Salvation. If we had to work to stay saved there would be no peace in Christ. Jesus did the work on the cross.
Does a loving wife or husband have to "work" to stay faithful?
God's grace calls us to faith and Salvation. And God knows everything from beginning to end. And Jesus said no one who comes to him will be lost. When God knows us from beginning to end and still calls us to his grace, God knows what's going to happen between then and the day we die.
What about those who come, but fail to "abide" in the Vine? Living branches stay connected - separated branches dry up and are burned in the fire.
If we lose faith that's not going to surprise all knowing God. He died to save us. He's not going to give up on us because we make mistakes.
Only the Just Man makes mistakes - the Presumptuous Man keeps a OSAS License to Sin in his wallet. As for giving up, saints won't end up in hell because God gave up on them - they gave up on God.
We are sealed unto the end of time when we're in the faith.
Like all OSAS folks, you interpret "seal" as "fixed fate" rather than accept the Biblical interpretation: sign", "token", "mark". "And (Abraham) received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith..." -Romans 4:7 KJV The righteous receive the Seal of God and the wicked the Mark of the Beast - both deal with truth and counterfeit laws, respectively:
"Bind up the testimony; seal the law among My disciples". - Isaiah 8:16 KJV.
"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they who keep the commandments of God." - Revelation 14:12 KJV
If those who don't get the Mark of the Beast are keeping God's law, those who get the Mark are breaking it.
Everything you and others who are opposed to the Gospel, and that is what you are when you deny its message, are failures before God's eyes.
Because you work to lead people to doubt their Salvation. And as you do that you impart the message God lied, and Jesus died for nothing. I would feel sorry for you if you weren't so committed to going to Hell and taking others with you. The blessed good news that counters that? You shall never ever be accompanied by a single Christian there. Happy trails.
The only damage the Conditional Salvation crowd does is water damage - by raining on the OSAS parade. OSAS is the perfect covering for the presumptuous sinners. They want Jesus to be their Savior from hell, but to hell with being obedient to Him as their Lord.
"And why call ye Me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" - Luke 6:46 KJV

And people who think they can hold on to presumptuous sin and Jesus at the same time will split hell wide open.
Keep trying to work your way to Heaven, keep yourself saved, deny the power of Jesus to keep you, while I place my trust totally in Jesus and we will see who will split hell wide open.

Eternal Salvation is not a license to sin.

That verse ignored after being published over and over shows a pattern of intent.
That which chooses to misrepresent the Gospel truth on purpose.

A truth that has outlived generations of opposers.
And forever shall. :)

I've been saying for years the Just Man falls down into the pit of sin, cries out to God for mercy, takes hold of His uplifting hand, and is placed back on the Path of the Just --- while the Presumptuous Man climbs down into the pit, sits comfortably among the filth, swats away the hand of Jesus, and pushes his OSAS License to Sin in His face. I appreciate your recognition of what should be so plain to everyone else ;)

I never judge anyone's motives or spiritual destiny, but their doctrines and the fate these teachings are likely to lead to. It's my hope that people understand that God gave humanity the marriage covenant to teach us that faithfulness to Him and His commandments should be as easy to fulfill as the vows of Marriage are to a husband and wife...and that a OSAS License to Sin is just as fraudulent as a Once Married Always Married License to Cheat.

Now, Composthuman and his disciple Dino420...
You, sir, are a hypocrite. You claim not to be judging motives, but only doctrines, yet here you deliberately misrepresent two members' user names (as well as their views). If that isn't judging the person, I don't know what is.

As I said before, you are sick, and you need help.

They need Jesus.
Do they need to be reported now? Isn't their post against the rules?

He will likely get increasingly frustrated and abusive, and then he will flagrantly contravene the rules and get himself booted. If you want to report him, please do. I have chosen to address him directly... for now. :)

Let them stay. They are the poster child of those who are ignorant of what is so plain in Scripture.

I was hoping you would make it clear and I had a feeling your motive was one of well meaning towards salvation, it's a not always easy to not Judge a person's motive tho, with out coming across that you are,. Especially in this topic. I'm glad tho you have explained,

All tho it may be that some people are teaching in error with blindness, and it's good to point that out, at the same time you keep pointing that out and they keep insinuating something else, then there may well be a motive of perhaps an underlying issue as to why OSAS is preached with an agenda, that keeps preaching there saved and someone else is not. But generally OSAS when preached with an agenda of pride generally accuses a Christians salvation of not being right, which is behaving like the false accuser notion of presumptuous sin, and they get away with it everytime,. I'm sure anti Christians and atheists alike have noticed by now on Christian chat how easy it is to offend a Christian and get away with it whilst preaching OSAS,. So I wonder now with OSAS we should examine the motive,.

As well you know since I called for repentance befor but there has been even more presumptuous sins, and no matter what you say to prove you have good intentions, theses presumptuous people preaching OSAS keep attacking.

so is it ok to threaten a Christian with he'll tell them there not a Christian and be happy about that with your closing statement of happy trails in hell,

Is you pride so strong that your happy to tell a Christian there going to hell ? And then claim somebody else is the one putting doubt in people's minds about salvation,. That's pretty hiporcritical. I won't be chatting with you anymore

So, by your quoting of James and the others, are you saying that our works are really a necessity in any sense for salvation
I've said what amounts to this over and over, and is evident in this post here about which you're asking the question: https://christianchat.com/bible-dis...nned-on-this-site.204113/page-22#post-4785495 I'm happy to repeat it, but please pay attention:
  • The sinner is converted to a saint the moment he makes the CHOICE to exercise faith alone in God's free gift of grace - this conversion has zero to do with works. (Ephesians 2:8 KJV)

  • The evidence of conversion is manifestation of good works performed by Christ Who now lives out His perfect life through him, just as apples are evidence a tree is an apple tree. (Ephesians 2:10 KJV) (1 John 2:3 KJV)

  • He who claims sainthood but doesn't manifest good works lies and Jesus our Truth isn't in him. (1 John 3:4 KJV)
Now, please, what's so unBiblical about my position?

The latest member of the Gospel defending Saints club. :D

Someone committed to pushing lies about the Gospel and clearly uninterested in correction isn't having a discussion with Christians. I think they're having a go at Christians.

And when we judge that even harshly as we're suppose to in their case, and realize they're not about being corrected so to learn the truth they play victim. I think both of them intend to offend Christians.

When they don't know unrepentant sinner's go to Hell was this ever a discussion?

I was asking. I don't intend to report.
They're telling us why they're really here with every post they make.

There's likely a list of sites they bring this to.

Keep saying "yes" to Jesus as our Savior from sin but "no" to Him as your Lord to obey and you'll end up departing with the rest of "ye that work iniquity".
