Great point. What if a person doesn't have a KJV and can't get one? Can they be saved?
Right. I can only imagine how many hearts have been broken through such dogmatic, blind thinking.

Speaking for myself, I appreciate ALL translations, though I generally find issues with them all. What is important is that we do not get our feathers ruffled over issues that do not matter, such as who bought the Field of Blood and what happened to the silver that Judas was paid. Who cares! But if we look closely, Circumcision of the Heart is not lost, whether it be the Catholic Bible, New World Translation (Mormon Bible) . . . they all explain Circumcision of the Heart . . . perfectly.

It's pretty difficult to botch a doctrine if translators are blind to it.

My conclusion is KJV onlyists are living in irrational fear of change. They deserve our mercy, not ire. It's like a person with a phobia of leaving the house. They need our compassion not anger. All the berating and pointing out of facts will do absolutely no good. They're in a state of irrationality so reason is useless.
Sounds to me like you possess the Mind of Christ.

However the thing is KJV is still being read today 400 years later its not like its been totally obliterated like some Bible versions that are no longer in print.

If you're not that interested in truth it probably wouldn't matter. But the only way to know the true essence of something is to examine where it came from.

For example, something you can probably relate to. If we want to understand Jim Jones, we must research his roots. Otherwise he's completely inexplicable.

If I asked: what is the origin of Word of Faith? Most would shrug. But would it matter if I said it started with E. W. Kenyon, a preacher and teacher of New Though? And that many of Kenneth Hagin's books are lifted word-for-word from Kenyon? Suddenly things take a decided turn. We now know that Word of Faith isn't grounded in Biblical truth, but New Thought.

There's only One who can be the judge of that.
Oh, ok. Thank you.

1 John 4:1 NKJV - "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world."

How do you "test the Spirits" within others so as to make a proper assessment of people? Please give us an outline of how you have done it throughout your Walk with Christ.

Lol . . . ok. I don't have time for games, but you have yourself a great Sunday. God Bless you, RA.
Not playing games. The method I use for testing the spirits is probably different from your method or anyone else's method.

And for some reason, you were unwilling to meet my request. It's ok, I'm not interested in it if you're unwilling to share. No big deal to me . . . I am extremely busy.

This is quite impossible nowadays, we are in the age of great technology and one can't get a KJB? Regarding salvation is not the issue here. It might be you are misinformed about KJB onlyism. Defenders of the KJB are not after the salvation issue. it's about the purity of the words. Even, a simple tract containing the gospel message may come from the new bible versions will do. While Modern Versions were affecting major doctrines like salvation, yet still they do teach right salvation in the other verses found in it. So it's not really the issue concerning salvation. KJB defenders "onliest" would rather say the modern versions are contradicting it's own thus a mixture of truth and a lie and no longer holds the purity of the word and doctrine as well.

kjv isnt a horrible Bible.
so why does it matter if SOME people are KJV only when lots of others are avaiable and anyone can access it?

Its constantly in print which must prove its worth and its not going away any time soon

It's a great translation! In fact, it outlines Spiritual Circumcision just as clearly as the NLT. Wherever Circumcision of the Heart is discussed, it is incredibly simple and clear to understand, using very little "old English." When Spiritual Circumcision is discussed, it's almost as if there were two different writers involved. Truly, it is amazing.

Of course, the kjv says this in 1 John 1:8,

1Jo 1:8, If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
