My God, my redeemer, my sacrifice, my Sabbath, my Passover, my high priest, my friend, my salvation, my creator, my intercessor, my prophet, my tree of life, my forgiver, my atonement, my compassion, my liberator, my source of wisdom, justice, righteousness, and the best demonstration of Love that ever existed. Pretty much everything, second to none. As he said "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6).

"And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS" (Revelation
19:16).

He is my rock as well.
All other ground is sinking sand... The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Interestingly, the thread is getting more answers to the question itself, then to the original idea of having a feedback of the shared videos! Looool! :D The title of the thread is based on the "Who is Jesus to you" video, done to know Israelis opinion about our Lord! :D

Jesus is everything too me! I really love our dear Saviour and Lord!

Christ is my God and my King :3

I actually read the thoughts about Christ from a Jew the other day, they made two points that I wondered about, not with doubt, because I know the Christ is the truth :p But I guess some concern because at the time I didnt really have an answer for it. One of them, they pointed out that the Messiah would have to be from the line of David, but since Christians claim he had no earthly father (birth father of course) it made no sense that Christ could be the Messiah. Luckily though, God helped me with this one! I was thinking about that one, and I looked it up, and found that Mary was from the line of David as well. And when thiking about the Jewish argument on this point, God gave me the answer Himself, yes the prophecy of the Messiah is that He would come from the line of David, but the prophecy also states that He would be born of a virgin. Haha so /clearly/ the mother would have to be from the line of David :p

Another point was that He changed the law, and as we all know, we are not to listen to any prophet who changes any law. This one, I dont really understand or know how to answer. Can anyone give an answer?

And sorry if this is too off topic, it just made me remember this, and now Im really curious about it.

At the moment, when I picture God, to me He looks like a strict long white bearded old man like those pictures of Charles Darwin who is waiting for me to trip up and hard to please. Deep down I know this is a wrong view but its something that's at the fore front..I hope this changes someday soon.

He did not really change the law, simply brought the focus back where it needs to be, which is on the Spirit of the law. He summed up the law and the prophets in the Great Commandment.

Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Those who refuse the offer of life extended to us through the propitiatory sacrifice of Jesus are judged and condemned by the law.

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. 1 Peter 3:18

For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:3-4

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jesus is the gift of God becoming Man, entering into the world of His rebellious and lost children , and a perfect sacrifice offered to me, a lowly sinner, and all other lowly sinners - no matter how hopeless or far from His love we may feel. The wages of sin may be death, but it was His death that paid that price - a price that I could never hope to pay through my own effort. And it was His resurrection that proved once and for all that God reigns over death - physical and spiritual.

This is the Gospel i.e. the Good News.
