Sinners that are Justified before and by God before they believe!

Scripture tells us when God justifies a person:

Romans 4:

20 He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he [God] was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him [Abraham] for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it [righteousness]was imputed to him;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

This is a Grand Gospel Truth that false religion can't and won't believe. However scriptures do declare this gracious truth.

One passage that shows this Rom 8:33-34

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

There is no indication whatsoever that Rom 8:33-34 declares anyone is "Justified before and by God before they believe!" ... that is just your surmisings in your futile attempt to align Scripture to your erroneous dogma.

You are to align your dogma to Scripture and where you are in error, let go of the error.

your claim is that the folks Peter preached to in Acts 2:38-39 were "Justified, quickened jews".

If what you claim is true, there would be no need for them to Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38) because if they were "Justified, quickened" they would have already received Holy Spirit ...

In 1 Corinthians 3:6, we are told that one plants ... another waters ... but God gives the increase.

So when one plants or waters the truth of God's Word and the hearer does not suppress the truth in unrighteousness, God brings increase.

And when God gives increase, I do not believe a person is given more and more faith. I believe God giving increase means that God strengthens the faith of the one who believes.

For those who remain weak in faith, it's not because they have less faith than the one who is strong in faith. The weak in faith are weak because they suppress the truth in unrighteousness or they are not taught the truth of Scripture and so remain ignorant. Because God only brings increase regarding His Word, when someone suppresses the truth (or is taught lies), God has nothing to increase, so they remain weak in faith.

That is why it is imperative that we take heed how we build upon the foundation.

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

So now that I have heard the word my faith is increasing…

James 2:17 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
