It was not that Jesus figured kicking these demons to the curb was not a priority, It's just that it's no big deal. Tell them where to go and relax. They have no choice but to obey. All we have to do is do what Jesus did. They got in His way, He sent them packing. That' all we have to do too.

LOL You take your eyes off of Jesus and those devils can hand you your butt.
Have they handed yours to you yet? Because your focus is anywhere but Christ. Usually you're focused on how stupid Christians are. Often you're focused on evil. Always, always focused on how wonderful and right you are. Have you even checked to see if you still have your butt?

A point to remember.....there was one occurrence in the life of the Apostles where they could NOT command and or control a particular demonic force nd JESUS had to step in and tell them that by prayer and much fasting this one had to be dealt with....Imagine that....the very men who could raise the dead, walk on water, heal the sick etc.....the bolded below speaks volumes to these men who boast of their faith and miracle working abilities today (not talking about you bro) but these SPIRITUAL, SINLESS, WORKING for giants that keep their salvation and embellish their salvation with ALL the wonderful works and abilities for Jesus.......

Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not drive it out?" And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Not that different. I'm assuming you have dramas and comedies, game shows, and talk shows, right? Because honestly, I was curious how TV frightens anyone too. lol

I wonder how many have really experienced the supernatural.
Probably why many do not care to share it when they really cannot prove that it happened to them.

But I do when someone is brave enough to speak of the bad stuff and feels alone in that crisis. I may share mine, but only to comfort and remind them that Jesus Christ is in them and He is never going away no matter what they have done as a christian so they can call on Him for help anytime as greater is He that is in them than he that is in the world.

I put up a thread a while back and today I thought I would put this question up.

We live in a supernatural world. Yet we seem to be afraid of it. Christians seem to deny that the enemy can do stuff supernatural and if he does its a sin or something to talk about it....All things that God does is supernatural. Look..Talking donkeys, floating ax heads, people walking on water, a burning bush that is not burnt, a staff that turns into a snake, food falling out of the sky, a staff buds like a sapling, people shouting a city's walls down. Or a man being fed by ravens, the water of the Red sea being parted, The waters of the Jordan river parted, a hundred men fed with 20 loaves and 20 ears of corn, 5000 men and their families fed with 5 loaves and 3 fish......a sundial running backward, three kids in a fiery furnace....Need I go on? This is only a crumb compared to all the supernatural stuff that happens in our world.

So....Why all the fear? Why all the denial? No. I'm not talking about occult. I am talking about the simple facts of our life.

just feel it may may be necessary to point out,

disagreeing that high-energy particle colliders are opening mystical supernatural portals along the intersections of faerie ley lines so that trans-dimensional demons can invade physical earth doesn't mean i'm "
afraid of the supernatural"

I was very afraid of the supernatural before my baptism of Holy Spirit. It was because of tv programs and books that I saw and read.

The supernatural of God is just like our natural. Naturally we are connected to the world, and to people. We speak, they speak back. We do things, and we see others do.

It's no different really for the Spiritual man or woman. It's like naturally supernatural. We talk to Him, He talks back.

The problem is when one isn't taught and there's this overwhelming fear of satan that he is magnified by our imagination.

I was given a picture. In this I saw a giant snake...but I put my foot down on it's head and it became a small wiggling worm.

The very name of Jesus causes him to tremble and run.

Here is a report found in a book documentating a Catholic nun possessed and speaking in tongues that did not come with interpretation. There are other reports that gives line of discernment that God's gift of tongues cannot be this kind of tongue.

I'm not afraid of the supernatural. I know that God is in control, and that even Satan cannot do anything without His permission. God knows every hair on our heads, He knows when we sit, stand, or lay down. He knows everything in our future before we are even born. He saved His Son from being killed until it was His time to die, and He'll do the same for His children.

The worst evil men or Satan could do to you, if given God's permission, is kill you. But God can kill both your body and soul in hell. So the only one to fear is God. And if you obey Him perfectly, you have nothing to fear. Perfect love drives out fear. But who can say they obey Him perfectly? Therefore everyone should fear to disobey God.

But I'm not afraid of the supernatural- love is supernatural- love is God. My body is like a machine, but my soul does not dwell in it without supernatural power. So why should I be afraid of what gives me life? I should only be afraid of the One Who can take that life from me.

Does Satan have supernatural power? Only to the extent that God allows- to test us. God told Satan he may give him disease and take away his blessings, but that he may not kill him. And a demon gave a woman the ability to tell the future, until Paul cast it out. But so what? Humans have no supernatural power if not given by God or Satan- which does not happen under the new covenant.

Their only real power of demons is to tempt and test us, or to make faces at us in hopes of getting us to fear.

All these things are irrelevant. They are distractions to divert our eyes from being focused on Christ. Peter was doing good walking on water, until he took his eyes off Christ, and focused them on the wind and waves- then he started to fear and to fall.

I really dont care what sign or wonder I can be shown, even if you could convince me it wasn't trickery. I know God is in control of all things, that nothing happens without His permission- so I won't marvel at it. So what, big deal. Poop is real- I'm not going to marvel at it just cause it's real. And powers used for evil are just that- spiritual poop. But as for God. it's not hard for me to believe that a God who gave humans limitations, can do things that we cannot.

My only focus- obey God so that I can get to heaven when I die, and be home with God forever.
You need to rethink that. You are a supernatural being. You are a spirit. How can the supernatural be irrelevant?

No. They can also seduce believers into believing a lie that it was the Holy Spirit that came over them again with a sign later on after they had been saved so as to mislead them and others to chase after them again for that sign and other sensational signs in the flesh.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;[SUP]2 [/SUP]Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

This is happening in "slain in the Spirit", "drunk in the Spirit", Toronto's Blessings, Pensacola Outpouring, holy laughter movement, and the other calling to receive the Holy Spirit apart from salvation after a sign of tongues which comes with no interpretation but is vain & profane babbling. That is why believers were warned not to believe every spirit but test them in 1 John 4:1-6 and the tongues they bring as it can be of the spirit of error and not of the Spirit of truth.

All these things are irrelevant. They are distractions to divert our eyes from being focused on Christ. Peter was doing good walking on water, until he took his eyes off Christ, and focused them on the wind and waves- then he started to fear and to fall.

We obey God by believing in Him as our Saviour that we are saved and by believing in Him as our Good Shepherd that He will help us to follow Him PERSONALLY. And even then, when we have doubts, we are free to ask Jesus for help in believing in Him when life or situations are overwhelming us that would cause us to doubts, but He will lift up our hears to look at Him and to have faith in Him in a world in chaos and confusion for our peace is on Him & comes from Him.

Mark 9:[SUP]23 [/SUP]Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.[SUP]24 [/SUP]And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

Indeed, one of the fruits of the Spirit is faith as well as peace for which He is far willing to supply to meet our needs.

Galatians 5:[SUP]22 [/SUP]But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,[SUP] 23 [/SUP]Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

So he felt convicted and got rid of the book but kept his pet pages? Disobedience.. He was led by this book to come to his conclusions.. if he's right why wasn't he allowed to know this so called truth? He of his own choice disobeyed and was led astray... We often think we are so intelligent.. and can piece things together..

Another note.. just because someone says they are something, doesn't make it so.. and those with beliefs already established in error are really just prey for the taking.. They have no full council to even begin a test to try any spirit..

This is what happens when experience overrides what the Bible say.. Believe what you read, not read and confirm what your finite mind has concluded already to be true... Paul said we are to read and therefore be transformed in our thinking.. If someone is getting confirmation after confirmation, they are their own beliefs system

Afraid of the supernatural?

The actual supernatural? No

People who make other people believe in man- made lies in order to make them scared (or in order to make money) ?
Well... maybe not scared, but they worry me.

Well scripture is there in the KJV and Jesus Christ is available at that throne of grace for the wisdom to understand His words and discern good and evil by His words, but when tongue speakers are reading their experiences into scripture like the Book of Acts, and their tongues into Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 12, 13, & 14 chapters, then it is time to go to outside sources to prove the origin of Satan's tongues as coming with no interpretation for why it can never be God's gift of tongues.

I mean.. every tongue speakers is ignoring this one verse that validates supernatural tongue as being of Satan but that is not enough to convince them that they are reading tongues without interpretation into the scripture when scripture is not really validating that kind of tongue at all as being God's gift of tongues in speaking unto the people.

Isaiah 8:[SUP]19 [/SUP]And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

Oh, for heavens sake enow. This video has nothing to do with the language of the Spirit in Christians. First of all the Catholic church doesn't teach being born from above. The charismatic fellowships that began at Notre Dame in Indiana are all I know about. I did attend and they were beautiful services..honoring Jesus as Lord.

And I met many. They believed the same as I, was born again and on fire. Some stayed in the church and others left. They believed they were being led as to what to do.

I have read about the Luciferians in the priesthood of the Catholic Church. It seems it's a hidden thing and not many know of it. That's what happens with mens organizations that do not embrace the Cross of Jesus Christ, and are crucified with Him...the ego is struck by the Cross, thank God. And Jesus is lifted up.

I don't know what all you experienced that has turned you so from any form of manifesting by Holy Spirit, but you can't throw all these things out because of a bad experience you had. If you are truly born from above...He will keep and guard you from all evil.

And you are accusing your brethren. This is not God.

Oh It's you. Look around you my friend. Most Christians won't talk about the enemy. "Oh don't talk about demons! They'll show up here." They won't discuss anything to do with the enemy at all. That's because of fear. Data is all observation. You have no data to refute it do you? I'm listening. Opinion based on self.....Ya Self observation....self deduction....self conclusion.
This is because many in the body are listening to him and do not even know it....

We have movements in the body of Christ, we have word of faith,we have prosperity doctrine, we have cessation doctrine, we have OSAS, we have works based salvation and righteousness and now we have the grace movement....

What do all these doctrines have in common? They are purely benefits based theology doctrines....the Body has been reduced to a consumer of God and not a depositor of God into others....

Plainly stated the Body today is ore about ME, than ever....what can I get from God.....

Jesus said GO and MAKE, not GO and sit, Go and Get, and GO and consume...

The enemy has entered into the house...

Then you can likewise only speak for yourself to say YOU are not afraid, and pointing out your double standard is not an unintelligent argument, it is simply an observation you refuse to acknowledge the truth of. Truthfully Christians are told to avoid the things you want them to explore. Evidence of the supernatural is seen in some churches and it is cause for great dissension, the stupidity of thinking the Holy Spirit of God is going to make people bark like a dog for instance. Why would anyone seek such an experience? If people are hungry for God they should seek Him out, not Satan.

THIS THIS THIS ^^^^^^^whole post but red in particular
