you have no way of knowing where people here are going. so, please stop it. And Claim down.

I already have readers calling me.
Hello TheLearner,

We do have a way of knowing where the spirits of people (those who die in their sins) go at the time of death and that according to the word of God. The event of the rich man and Lazarus is in the word of God for this very reason. It gives us a glimpse into the transition from the death of the body, to the where the spirit goes for the unsaved, which is Hades. This is a a temporary place of punishment under the earth for the spirits of the unsaved, where at the great white throne judgment, those in Hades will be judged and will be thrown into the lake of fire, which is eternal.

Every person (after the age of accountability) who comes into the world is already condemned. The only way to be reconciled to God the Father is through faith in His Son. Those who do not believe and die in that state, their record is sealed and they remain condemned.

"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him.” - John 3:36

"Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire."

Since eternal condemnation is Scriptural, we all should pray for the lost,
and preach The Gospel Of The GRACE Of God, so "they can HEAR and Decide"!
Amen?

I neither agree or disagree, as someone who was born into a wholly Christian family, baptised at 3 months old, went to Christian schools and was confirmed at 11 my soul has always belonged to Jesus, iv'e never doubted or rejected that, i feel the presence of the Spirit with my Heart and I believe that God is Love and Jesus is the way to salvation. I don't believe that anyone can get saved merely through an intellectual comprehension of The Bible although i still enjoy reading it and deepening my understanding but i don't believe salvation depends on that and i'm not a Bible literalist. If people are ready to hear the teachings of God's Word they will and if they're not they won't so preaching you're particular take on it at them could be counter-productive. I prefer to hear people's own testimonies. Saying that i did have a powerful personal experience when i had a NDE and Jesus called me back from the dead so i guess that was a kind of being born again.

How do you know God did this? You're told by a church that created Hell that God did this.
I've quoted several Scriptures. That's how I know. Don't you read the Bible?
Think about what they're asking you to accept about a loving creator.
Loving creator? You mean God who drowned everyone on Earth but 8, including children "making them an example"?
God created imperfect humans after he chose which ones he'd save from himself and before he created the world where they'd come to fall from his grace in the garden he made for that purpose. Then he created a place of eternal suffering to receive those imperfect humans he'd created to be that way, because they weren't the one's he'd named to save in his Book of eternal life.
So, you reject God of the Bible Who WARNED us about Hell fire?
Christianity is grounded in Judaism which came first. There is no Hell as Christians believe to exist in Judaism.
Irrelevant! Jesus warned us of Hell fire.
"The doctrine of hell is an evil doctrine that originated from pagan mythology, but the Roman Catholic church used it to put fear in to the minds of people only for control. It is documented that many Roman Catholic officials would charge fees for the forgiveness of sins and for the indulgence of certain sins."
Did you just call Jesus evil?

Matthew 5:22 (NKJV)
22 Whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of
hell fire.

Is there a reason you have totally avoided quoting Scripture?

the English word evil is not contextual with being evil or wicked, but the action done is in such a way those who are evil will see it as an action they cannot conceive.

Eternal condemnation is not the same as eternal eternal torment. The Bible doesn't teach that those in hell live immortally in never ending punishment.

I just thought this would help enhance the discussions you're trying to have. I'm noticing that people aren't always replying to you, presumably because they didn't know you said anything to them.

Wanting to clear up one glaring false charge there. NO, I did not call Jesus evil. Thinking I did shows you never read my post. Nothing you've said is relevant when you failed to do that.

Let's see, should we believe Jesus or you?

"The rich man also died"
"being in torments"
"he cried"
"I am tormented in this flame"
"this place of torment"

Luke 16:22-28 (NKJV)
22 The rich man also died and was buried. 23 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.' 25 But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.' 27 Then he said, 'I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house, 28 for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.'

I believe everything Jesus says.

Where in that passage do you see the word eternal?

Hell will be filled with those who don't believe in Hell.

Revelation 20:10 (NKJV)
10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

That specifies only the devil, beast, and false prophet which are three people. Nowhere does it say the rich man is tormented day and night forever.

So the passage about the rich man and Lazarus does not mention how long.
