Thats the problem. If the Text is not literal, but were use it as literal we come to a wrong meanIng of the Text. And if we use a literal text f. e. allegoric we also come to a wrong meaning of the Text.
And if we dont know what makes someone to a Christian we also come to wrong conclusions. F.e. if you dont believe to a 6000 years old creation ore you as woman wear trousers. What makes us to a Christian? Not our outlook ore what we believe what is right ore our Moral Standart. Our faith in Jesus Christ and to be born again makes us to christians.

It seems the controversy is what the word inerrant means. But what is far more worse, is what inerrant implies, and how, by this implication, actually accuses God, and PUTS Him, AND His Son, in a box! Meaning, God does NOT speak TO man OUTSIDE the pages of the canonized SACRED text anymore! What this does, in practice, is DENIES, and REFUTES, ANY, and every instance of being "born from above!" And, WOE to the person who states, or argues otherwise! It's like you can believe, and accept Jesus Christ as "YOUR PERSONAL" Lord and Saviour! Because, should you go around asking questions we can't answer? We'll pressure you into going into the "mission field", which this church fully supports, or? Highly SUGGEST, entering into one of our Universities, or Institutes of Higher Biblical indoctrination, of which we also highly support! That which we do NOT support, nor shall tolerate, is for YOU, to remain HERE, to bloom, within this "body of believers", inasmuch as giving cause for the members of this body (especially, those of "higher finnancial resources") in feeling guilty, quit attending, and LOSING THEIR "MONEY"! Filthy lucre, or not, makes no difference to us, as it Spends the SAME!" This is TYPICALLY, what practicing an inerrant Bible does TO "churches of stone!!" Yeah?...I'll go to church, and receive my "weekly dose of words" Offer my generous SACRIFICE of money, and feel justified within myself, until next Sunday! Should I ever get to feeling too uncomfortable? I'll show them that which walks, and that which talks, in the real world!
