Abiding in his love means Obeying him. He says if we love him we will keep his commandments, that is "abiding" in his love. Yes we are only secure if we " abide" in his love. Which means doing what he commands us to do;)
Oh, I love what He loves and hate what He hates.......

You see, He is restoring our souls with His Word and Spirit. Our souls are our mind, emotions and will.

We're learning to think what He thinks, to understand what He understands, to judge the way He judges (with mercy); our emotions are lining up with His.....love what He loves, rejoice over what He rejoices over, hate what He hates, grieve over what He grieves over..... and our will is getting more and more in sync with the Father's Will - we're learning to make right choices - choosing the Father's Will - recognizing it and doing it.......it's easy because we love Him and He loves us.

I already know Gods love for me, he sent his only son to die for me. That's the love spoken about in the bible.
That's just the beginning.......there's A LOT more love where that came from....Don't you think He wants to show you more of His Love.......

There's still more................
Jeremiah 31:3 New International Version (NIV)
3 The Lord appeared to us in the past,[a] saying:

“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

There's still more................
Romans 8:37-39 New International Version (NIV)
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerorsthrough him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a]neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the (love of God) that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Notice the word "SIN" isnt in this passage.

Well I dont believe OSAS. ;)

As long as they keep trying to do something to get saved it's proof they don't believe Jesus saved them at the Cross,,so they deny the salvation and so are not.

Dear Loving Heavenly Father,

Interrupt this thread with Your Love.......any and all hearts (not heads/brains/minds) that long to know Your Love in a more personal way.....hear Your children crying out for Your Love to fill our hearts and overflow to our minds and cause Your Love to move our hands and feet into action to bring Your Love to a dying world.

Help us to know Your Love for us, Father.....pour out and stir up Your Love in us...............tear down any and all walls of division that separate Your children. Help us to love......like You love..............

Comfort us with Your Love so we have no fear of losing our salvation but, rather we can simply focus on loving You, thank You, Father......in the Name of Yeshua/Jesus, amen.(y)

Instead of directing statements toward Anti OSAS why dont you provide some scriptures;).

Give me a scripture in the bible that says you dont need to OBEY God for Salvation.

Not Galations 2:8-9 That's referring to Works of Law. By the Work of the Law no man will be considered righteous. Because throughout the NT Works of the LAW are mentioned. Not just good deeds people do, its referring to the WORKS of the LAW.

No one has said they need to earn their salvation- this is an assumption from OSAS believers.

Our definition of faith is different for salvation

OSAS- dead faith, only believing a God exists.

NO OSAS- living Faith. Showing your Faith in Action.

So there you go. No more assumptions.
