I sense we have a different understanding. Indeed, one of us is ignorant. I have tried that on. It didn't fit well. I quickly grew out of it.
I believe the salvation offered is perfect, as is the one who is offering it, and as such will always be.

Satan lost his. The fallen angels lost theirs, and they were not only "Spirit led, they were in their celestial bodies at the time" There will be those who, during the hour of temptation, will take the mark of the beast and do his work and at the end of the millennium will follow him into that lake of fire. There will be no evil to see the eternal kingdom.

In conclusion, your fruits are cold, abrasive, abusive, and angry, to name but a few. There should be, especially with someone who seems to have so much knowledge, times, when you approach someone who does not agree with your beliefs with your light shining, SOMETIMES, and may be displaying
meek, merciful, pure in heart, peacemakers, attitudes.

Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Matthew 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Matthew 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
I like your message:)

I don't freak out over sinning either .. I choose to sin when I do but I do genuinely repent for sinning .. when I say I choose, I mean that, yes, I do choose in that sin does not just happen and we are unaware of it .. one sin I still am trying to overcome is my verbal reaction to sudden frustration and anger .. I have 3 sleep disorders and do not get quality sleep so am always very tired and I still do many things but when they go wrong, I get frustrated or angry and verbally respond with profanity .. I do it before I can catch myself so in that sense it is not a choice at that moment but it is still a choice to sin as I know such is sinful and I am still working at overcoming it .. anyway, long story short, when I sin in this way or in any other way, I really am sorry and I do genuinely repent, not because I am afraid of losing my salvation but because I do not wish to lose my salvation .. it is a gift I truly value and wish to keep for eternity .. I repent because I know that I can lose my salvation as sin brings death but repentance restores life eternal .. I know that if I sin and do not repent, I shall lose my salvation .. I repent as I do not wish to lose my salvation but, mainly, because I am sorry to offend God with sinfulness that I have not yet overcome but do believe I shall overcome in time with God's help and, yes, with the strengthening that genuine repentance gives in helping us better resist future sinfulness ..
There is somewhere written that Paul was "crude" or something like that "in speech". (I am thinking he didn't sleep much either) I will try to find it. Just saying it brought me a bit of comfort. Not sleeping almost produces a "mental" for lack of a better word illness as brain chemicals are all messed up. That is why I love Heb 4:12 so much. My heart is in much better shape than my mouth. But it can be done, mostly all the time, sometimes, sadly no.

If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

It's a command WOW

So if we dont have (love) a work, we cannot love God.

Paul was not the worst of sinners when he was preaching the cross. He was the worst of sinners before he was preaching. He used to persecute Gods people.

To say Paul was a sinner as a follower of Jesus, is blasphemy:(

I am adamant that works do not save us nor do they keep us saved.

Hi Chester works do not save us correct. But faith that produces works saves us. So faith alone with no works won't save us. So we do need Goods works that come from a genuine faith. Just like Abraham had.
But they keep us growing in the Word, proceeding toward perfection. I find it strange to have to "defend" my love of doing works for God and I am to the point at least on CC to always add "not for salvation, or justification, or sanctification or righteousness, or can't remember the 5th. I am just going to start saying "Not 4 The 5" that could work, shoot.

Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

God delivers Paul through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We dont need to defend our Love for God anymore;). They are so adamant that we work for salvation without Jesus involved:( quite sad really.

I just read the bible for what it is. They are so adamant to prove you dont need holy living for salvation. Because it supports a license for immorality. It supports Gods grace being a covering for sin, so we can continue in it.

We do not work for our salvation. But we believe Loving God is required for salvation. If we dont love God why should we go to heaven?. Having God just loving us and, us not loving him is- a one sided relationship. God isnt here just to serve us so we can get what we want. Loving others is required for salvation, because it means we love God. None of us will get to heaven without Obeying the Word of God. God isnt here just for our benefit, so we can have blessings or financial prosperity. We are here to serve God, because that is our duty, we are slaves to righteousness.

You might like a quick study on "Gamaliel" one of Pauls teachers, if you haven't already. Paul was insanely awesome in dedication to the "Jews" and in persecuting the Christians, which is what made him a perfect choice for God to use. He loved God, no doubt. Would be bad to find out after that much dedication you were 180 off.

I don't know him, but I have heard of the Calvinists or ???
Do some research on John Calvin. In history he murdered a man called Michael servitus for having different doctrinal beliefs. Michael Servitus was burnt slowly on green wood as punishment for having different beliefs about the bible. Calvanism comes from John Calvin. Read the 5 points of Calvinism.OSAS comes the teachings of calvinism.

Acts 5:34-39 New International Version (NIV)
34 But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while. 35 Then he addressed the Sanhedrin: “Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. 36 Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. 37 After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. 38 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. 39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”

We will not pervert the GRACE of God. Saying it covers our future wicked acts. Even though we never repented or were sorrowful.

Gods Grace does not cover your future sins before you commit them. God sees our sins, just like he saw Adam and Eve commit sins in the Garden of Eden. His eyes see our sins, always remember that:). .
