I'll ask you. Was that an intelligent comment? (Go back, and actually read it.) Well, WAS it?
Yes it was...maybe you misread it?

He was just saying you don't have to have the best while others starve....

You don't need a 100 room mansion for 2 people when 15 others are homeless.

What is dumb about that statement?

You don't fly much, do you? You seem to be totally lacking in any understanding of the logistics of getting a team to someplace like India and back in three or four days.
Why not stay longer? Do they bring food and medical supplies in their plane?

Is the cost of the plane justified or could they bring more people and relief flying commercial?

Either way, your comment is rude and abrasive, but you continue as you like....just a little disappointed, thought you were more mature and better able to communicate than that.

I will make sure to lower my expectations in the future.

prosperity meaning material wealth, money, greed, possessions.

the prosperity Jesus was teaching had noting to do with earthly wealth. He taught not to spend your life storing up possessions.
Jesus and the 12 - traveled on foot, relied on others for food and a place to sleep.

prosperity teachers - travel by private jet, drive Mercedes Benz and live in million dollar mansions. they need a private jet for their busy schedule, and i thought all things were possible in Christ.
This one?.....

There are verses about storing your wealth in Heaven....valuing good deeds over material possessions....how hard it is for a rich man to enter heaven ....how the root of all evil is the love of money..

You assume his words mean don't use a car, but he later post that you don't need an expensive car or private jet....humble car and modest travel arrangements would work as well.

if i were a traveling bible teacher, which i am not, i would fly the same way the people flew that i was teaching, on a plane and not in my own private jet.
Did you miss this comment?

Joseph Prince? Never heard of the guy.
Join the small crowd. The first time I heard of him was with some posting videos of him. To me, it seems that some of the people that I have great respect for seem to be losing their prospective on the complete Gospel of our Lord Jesus, and are using Prince's sermons to jump on the gospel of grace only bandwagon.

As I took the grace scriptures provided over the past few weeks and put them in context, it became apparent to me that it's time for those on the gospel of grace only bandwagon need to swallow the milk and now pursue the meat of the complete Gospel of Christ.

Someone told me to read Acts 20:24. I did. I suggest that rather than reading 20:24, you read the entire chapter.

You both (and many others) appear to have this so wrong... probably because you take it so personally.

You are not attacked, in any way, because you choose to believe grace was not a gift freely given to us by God, that does not have to be paid for by our efforts.. You catch flack because you cannot defend your position without calling people of God preaching the same message Paul preached, the dirtiest names you can think of. (And many, many names DO seem to come easily to your lips.)

Why can't you disagree without disparaging?
Wow. Throwing two stones at one bird.

I shudder to post this, but if I may?

Grace only does not mean what it is being taken to mean, IMO, that is a rather handy twist of what has been posted low these many months...where has the time gone? but I digress

It means salvation is by GRACE ALONE...we don't earn it and we don't KEEP it by being good boys and girls and our morality stinketh...according to God..filthy rags and all that

thing is , I will agree that it seems no one can get past that point cause it's going down sidewise with no wine...or grapejuice... to wash it down

however, the arguement that anyone here says grace is cheap or greasy or 1.99 with a discount if you order 2, is as phony as a chicken with a brand new set of dentures

it's just a lot of click click click ...like false teeth...you can remove them

try reading some of my threads on what repentance actually is or my latest ones on judging or grief over the continued attacks on others

those are not the threads of someone who thinks peace comes by letting your head go blank and the responses on the threads are not the response of people who think sin is an idea Walt Disney came up with

sin, the word being 'avon' in the original, means 'missing the mark' and even though some are trying to paint the world's biggest target on the backs of others, ain't nobody nohow gonna hit a thing

so, how big is everyone's pile of stones getting? betcha some are so big, y'all need help to toss 'em

someone had to say it...not addressing you personally billy...but the music keeps playing and everyone is still unsure of what the dance is

I'm for those who understand that grace is not merely the dissemination of some commodity, principle or empowerment, that can then be "applied". As if Gods actions are ever detached from the manifestation of who He is in Himself. Grace is the active expression of the very essence of God Himself, there is no grace of God apart from God.
So, which you been reading -- Christ in Me Ministries or Lighthouse Library International? Because you lifted the same exact phrase twice, as if repeating it suddenly makes it key. Definitely not your voice, so it's not working for me. I can do Romeo's soliloquy though. (Definitely not my voice either. lol)

Those who think that they don't have the ability to do righteousness are no better off than if they were under the law. In fact, they act like they are under law because they talk about how it condemns them.

Grace removes believers from the condemnation of the law and empowers them to do GOD's will, which is righteousness.

But, we aren't saved by Gods love, or mercy, or righteous anger...we are saved by His grace, because of His love and mercy.
No, we're saved by God. Otherwise I'm kind of stuck trying to define if it was the left or the right side, the top side or the bottom side, the inside or the outside of a lifesaver that saved me from the ocean.

Thank God I have the GRACE message! Oh man I am so happy! Threads like this really make me appreciate being able to receive such a beautiful message of who God is. I'm so happy I was able to receive the truth and have this close and connected relationship with God. Knowing that I can run to my Daddy God for anything and he hears me and he's for me and no matter what I am righteous through Christ! Thank you Jesus for this Gift, it truly is freedom and such a blessing you have given me and so many others :D Love you Abba Father!
And totally unaware that you aren't all alone in your solitude, nor is there any suffering left behind in the wake of the lalaladeedah false Grace god.

That's something else that bothers me with the ladedah message -- it's so self centered no concept that others are out there in any kind of need. It's all about ME HAPPY! Nothing else matters, including the people pushed aside when the drug wears off.

Congrats (but I have no prize for you, that would be kinda narcissitic) to me that strikes at the heart of the matter.

And, likewise, I am sure jaybird knows that I was simply pointing out that scheduling three or four meetings a month (or sometimes more) cannot be left in the realm of "Ho hum... Don't sweat the timing... God will provide." He may cover our lazy stupidity a few times, but there comes a time when we have to learn how to get smart, and do some of the work for ourselves.

It is to the point, these days, that public air travel requires an additional wait time of no less than four hours every time you step foot inside any airport, anywhere... leaving, or returning, much worse in many countries. In addition to all the necessary equipment that must be taken along because many locations just do not have these things if they are not supplied, all the people traveling for the management of these venues have to also be accommodated for arrival and departure in the same timeframes. One delay, anywhere, by any of the several planes that would have to be booked for public transportation could effectively cancel an appearance, entirely.

That's really a rather dumb comment. Why do you own a car? Can't you trust God to simply miraculously transport you to wherever you need to go?
Are we going for who can be the dumbest now?

And why is it that somehow calling a comment dumb isn't the same as calling someone dumb? Inanimate objects, including words like "comment," do not have any intelligence at all to judge the level of dumb, therefore it's not really calling the comment dumb as much as the commenter. Does it suddenly feel better if I call your belt dumb instead of you, who chose that belt and think it's super snazzy? Not really. (And for the record, I don't ever recall seeing any pictures of anyone on here's belt, so that was not an underhanded insult too.)

You just got done calling who-knows-who (other than Jimbone) on insulting people and then turned around and insulted someone else.

At the very least, own up that that too wasn't the brightest thing to say either.

Really? You want to compare a car to a jet? Last I heard, even gas guzzlers get better mileage than a jet. And the maintenance is much, much cheaper. If you honestly want to compare my car with a jet, please. PLEASE be willing to swap with me. (PLEASE! lol) With the price of a jet, I can buy a new car, pay off the mortgages, give the guys at the VA a complete upgrade on their home, and even make room so they really can build their own boat/car/or shed for something better to do than play Bingo on Saturday afternoons. The only hitch I see in this plan is who do I know who wants to buy the jet off me? lol (Not even the rich side of my family would pay those kinds of prices, and they're into polo ponies.)

Can we all, at the very least, admit our passions do play out on this board? Anyone here who hasn't let their emotions get the better of them? Honest! Because if you haven't, I want to go back and reread what you wrote to see how I'm missing it.

And, Grace. Take this from someone who has said plenty of time, "I'm out of here" when talking about a thread, we both know neither one of us can hold to that conviction. Solution to problem. Don't keep saying it.

I'll tell you the truth. I absolutely know you're teaching something that damages people in the long term. It is NOT from God. Joseph Prince is everything I say he is, including a heretic and cancerous growth in the body.

But you? I honestly don't know if you are still falling victim to his message or if you are in on the scam too. I will not abide in that false message. It does NOT mean I hate you. I don't know if I can take my relationship with you up to 1 Cor. 13 standards, but I know I'd protect you like a Mama Bear if I need to.

The only reason I'm not protecting you now is because I so want you to come out from under that heretic and become a true brother. You may be a brother now. I don't know. I don't know where the deceived comes in to play. If you are deceived, you are a brother. If you aren't deceived, you're not. Even if you're not a brother, that doesn't mean you won't become one. That you find the true God and his true message is my hope for you. If that's not love, I don't know what is. The best I can offer is the true God the Bible speaks of. (He's just not the one Prince speaks of.)
