The Father was greater than The Son only during the time Jesus was with us. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one God.
When Jesus said, "the Father is greater than I" in John 14:28, He was speaking from His humanity. When Jesus said, "I and the Father are one" in John 10:30, He was speaking from His divinity. Jesus was fully man and fully God. (John 1:1-14; John 20:28; Colossians 2:9)

There are several verses saying our El is One, however the best, and very definite one is Isaiah 9:6 where we are taught outright and plainly that the child born to the virgin would be called by the titles of all thrree..............
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

- Isaiah 9:6

I just want to point out, He also said we can be "one in them" that does not make us co-equal or a part of YHWH.

John/Yahanan 17:17-24, “Set them apart in Your truth – Your Word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also sent them into the world. And for them I set Myself apart, so that they too might be set apart in truth. That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe that You have sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me, I have given them; that they may be in unity, just as We are in unity. I in them, and You in Me--so that they may be made perfect in unity; and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them, as You have loved Me. Father, it is My will that they, whom You gave Me, also be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.”

Why did the Father write a book before anything was created, and then seal it with seven seals?

Latter at some point in time a great convocation was held in heaven, (Rev.4&5) and a search of the universe was conducted in which Jesus was the only one found worthy to open its seals. What was Jesus found worthy to do that no one else was worth to do?
No person is sinless therefore a person cannot dwell with God in a spiritual sense to have a spiritual relationship with Him which is the only way a person can have a relationship with Him and live forever like Him.

Also there is no remission of sins without the shedding of blood which the blood of bulls and goats could never take away sins completely so no person could have a spiritual relationship with God.

No person was worthy to open the book which means no person was qualified to be able to have a spiritual relationship with God, and open the door for other people to be able to enter because of what that person did.

Jesus is a sinless man that did everything right in the eyes of God for He was always led of the Spirit nothing wavering so He is worthy to open the book and cause all people that follow the truth to be able to have a spiritual relationship with God.

For it is all about receiving the Spirit to be compatible with God, and the blood of Jesus washing away our sins allows us to have the Spirit.

Which a Spirit led life is not under the law because their sins are forgiven, and they are not sinning therefore the law cannot touch them for prosecution.

Do not be deceived by people that say you do not have to focus so much on your lifestyle but the righteousness of Christ is on you.

The Bible says whoever does not do righteousness is not right with God so it is about action to act right not that you are righteous without any effort to stop sinning.

Also the Bible says some have a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof to stop sinning, ever learning and never able to come to the truth that they have to cease from sinning to be right with God.

Also the Bible says the Lord knows them that are His having this seal that those who name the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

That is what seals the saints is that they allow the Spirit to lead them abstaining from sin.

Which is why many people will not dwell with Jesus that thought they would be able to because they were workers of iniquity.

Which a Spirit led life will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, for they have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts, and show the ways of the Spirit.

And God will not allow them to be tempted above what they are able, and will give them an escape from the temptation so they can bear it.

So then they can act Christlike therefore causing them to be compatible with God which they can have a spiritual relationship with Him.

The Bible says if a person wilfully sins then there is no more sacrifice for that sin which if they hold on to sin the blood of Christ cannot wash it away for God will not take away a sin they hold on to.

But millions of people claiming Christianity live in sin and believe they are right with God but they are not right with God.

Also love is greater than faith, and faith works by love.

If a person does not have love then their faith is no good, and the Bible calls it charity, love in action, for that is the only way love can be valid in their life is if it is in action, works, which John said do not love in word, nor in tongue, but in deeds, works, and in truth.

Yes, I'm familiar with that argument from anti-Trinitarians, and in some cases, one can refer to unity, yet in other cases, it can referr to one in essence/nature with the Father.
