Rather than trying to win people over to our own churches or denominations, be it Eastern Orthodox, Catholic, United Methodist, or whatever, it seems to me we should be trying to win people over to our Father in heaven.

That's one of he reasons I like The Way of the Master and other stuff with Ray Comfort. They teach evangelism in a way that focuses on the scriptures and brings people to Christ and not into some denomination.

:) denominations are fine to get your milk from but you have to listen to the Holy Spirit and His guidance of your life to learn and eat meat ;)

True, therefore we should try and lead them to the truth of scripture rather than holding to denominational doctrines. that way if they ado not really know the Father the truth may set them free.

cheese are curds of milk.

most on these forum has access to a bible even if it only an online one. they can get the pure milk of scripture themselves and if someone tries to stick a few flies in it then they are responsible for not swallowing those pest and making themselves sick.

God controls all things.

if it makes your stomach sick. most people won't ask for more.

I think some Protestant churches need to be told this. Because instead of focusing on evangelism in Christian minority countries they're expending resources trying to convert Christian majority countries like Russia, Italy, Greece, Romania, and Bulgaria. (Hint these countries all have one thing in common).

I’m not interested in converting people to my denomination.

We’ll have to get you in a church, though.

Why, so they can convert me to their denomination?

I'm in a Church. The Church of Christ. An invisible priesthood in the Kingdom of God.

Amen!!!! WE shouldn't be divided instead unified because we all have one goals and believe in the most important thing: That Christ was born he lived a sinless life was crucified for our sins and rose again the 3rd day. And that we are all sinners needing Him.:) Everything else isn't that important. :D

Leading people out of other churches as well as other denominations is a bad thing, getting people out of cults as well as dead Christianity is a good thing.

I say, if it works don't try to fix it. If it doesn't, get rid of it.

Paul describes a church that has people in it. Churches are imperfect but have much to offer.

Tomorrow is Sunday. You’ll have to pick a church and attend. Except I see you are in Syria. Do you have churches in Syria?
