Actually the "temple" is within every believer, and together they make up the Church, in spirit.

We are the temple. And the son of perdition will rise up in the midst of that temple.
Amen! (I just wanted to say THAT but I gotta make it more than 10 characters. So there!) lol

Rather than trying to win people over to our own churches or denominations, be it Eastern Orthodox, Catholic, United Methodist, or whatever, it seems to me we should be trying to win people over to our Father in heaven.

God tells us to correct and rebuke!...

2 Timothy 4:2-3
Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry"

Religion is nothing more than various organizations invented by man.

There is only one way to follow God. Born again Christians/true followers of Christ do not belong to a religion. Religion is of man. True born again Christians are true followers of God, according to his word.

We are not to unite with those who follow false doctrines.

Correct doctrine is crucial because false and man-made doctrine drives out, replaces and nullifies true teaching (Mt. 15:1-9; Col. 2:8, 20-23)

Jeremiah 5:30-31: "An astonishing and horrible thing Has been committed in the land: The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule by their own power; And My people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?"

We cannot remain silent. We must beware of false prophets (Mt. 7:15). We must try the spirits to see whether they are of God (1 Jn. 4:1). We must sound the same trumpet that Christ sounded, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.”

To sit in silence is to ignore God's word. We are to share the truth to the blind; those who are blinded and actually have a relationship with religion and not with God.

I agree Katy,
but the problem is, we all will obviously be convinced that what WE believe, and that OUR OWN interpretation of the bible is the right one, whether we belong to a denomination or not.SO if you say A, and I say B and someone else says C, none of us can claim to be more right than the other if all three found their A B and C in the Bible

I believe a sinner's first sermon from a Christian should be the salvation message. We shouldn't start on sanctification we should start at salvation.

Well, what do you believe and why? How can we ask others to believe, if we can't state
first what we believe?
