Hello Tinkerbell, as a full practicing witch that is a Christian
Sir-Phil, just FYI, there is no such thing as a "full practicing witch" or otherwise that is a Christian! If you are willfully practicing this, then until you repent i.e. change your mind regarding this and all sin, you remain an enemy of Christ, for He requires repentance. This would be like one who is willfully living a same-sex life style and has no intention of turning from it and at the same time calls themselves a Christian. Your loyalties are divided between God and Satan, light and darkness. By engaging in Wicca, you are trusting in something other than God.
The Creed guidelines from Wicca specifically States to "Harm None" so Wicca witches would never try to disrupt or harm a person who chooses a Christian Faith.
The above is irrelevant in that, God is not going condone what you are practicing because your credo is to not harm Christians or anyone else. The issue is that you are trusting in something else other than God alone, which brings me to the next point:
They have an Earth/Nature based worship system and their goals are to celebrate life!
Here is what the word of God has to say regarding your statement above:
"They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and
worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen."
By having an "Earth/Nature based worship system," you are doing exactly what the scripture states above. For instead of worshiping God the creator, by your practice and beliefs you worshiping created things instead. If you want to celebrate life, then celebrate the One who created all life.
Although I hope that these Wicca witches can find God in their heart one day, they do not have an allegiance to the devil!
Many unbelievers would make the same claim as above, but the fact is that, anyone is not for God, is against Him and His wrath rests upon them. Likewise, those who practice Wicca may say they have no allegiance to the Satan and the powers of darkness, but by them just being in that religion, they are aligned with Satan by default, just as everyone who continues to reject Christ are aligned with Satan.
I know the witches I associate with are not out to harm Christians and only want to practice their religion in peace!
You cannot belong to the light and the darkness at the same time! The practice and beliefs in Wicca or any other cult keeps the one in the darkness. You are only deceiving yourself if you think that you can continue in Wicca and also consider yourself a Christian. "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, rather expose them."
"They traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos. There they met a Jewish sorcerer and false prophet named Bar-Jesus, who was an attendant of the proconsul, Sergius Paulus. The proconsul, an intelligent man, sent for Barnabas and Saul because he wanted to hear the word of God. But Elymas the sorcerer (for that is what his name means) opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul from the faith. Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said,
“You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord? Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind for a time, not even able to see the light of the sun.”
The Lord looks at what you are practicing and believing in, the same as the Elymas who was practicing sorcery in the scripture above. Notice what he says regarding Elymas regarding his sorcery "You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right."
Regardless of your good intensions, by willfully practicing Wicca, you are in the same unreconciled state with the Lord. But the good news is, if you will renounce this practice, repent and receive Christ, then the Lord will forgive you. But as long as you willfully continue in it, you are an enemy of God. On top of that, you are condoning and encouraging the person you posted this to of which you will also be held accountable for if you never repent.
