I have been talking to alot of christian men lateley , and i have asked them" Do you think woman can be pastors too"? They all said NO!!!. Tell me what you think about this plz.
I try to make it a practise whenever I answer anyone concerning spiritual things that I ask God's help in advisement and for His wisdom. That way I know for a fact that when I say things I end up being on God's side.
So contrary to what many believe, discipleship is not the sole purpose of a man but of a follower of Christ. And though I personally believe it is necessary to keep the order of the spiritual present, I also believe that one should listen to the purposeful motivation of the Holy Spirit.
I urge you therefore to study for the office of a pastor as was lead upon your heart, but to take head that you will always have a pastor or other office above you in the structure of your own authority. For it is necessary to teach the young of spirit and the job requires a lot of workers. But please, and this is vitally important. Do not place any of your family above that of God. For you will then loose that family member. For God will take no second place in your life. And if you do wish to take up the mantle of teaching and pastoring, the burden shall also be given to you as it is given to any other person.
Let me explain the burden: God will take heed to make sure that your teaching is pure and clean. You may not judge....ever. For any judgement you give will be taken over you. But because you are a leader it will emphasised. So every action that is taken must be measured. Weighted. You must count your words. Literally check every word that goes out of your mouth. You must ensure that you pray for those that come into your congregation and that you pray for their guidance and protect them. Just like you would pray and guide your children. Every wrong doing which you know of and did not spoke against, God will hold you responsible. Every act which was done by others is your responsibility. Just like the acts of your children is your responsibility. You must pray for wisdom and guidance every day. And make sure to visit the people of your congregation daily so they know you are going to visit on regular intervals. You will have no private life, if you have children less so. You will always have to go to aid those around you. Anything you teach or preach or hear from the mouth of God is given to you freely. Thus you may not under any circumstances
any circumstances ask for money or any kind of reward for it. That which you give must be totally as gift. You may not even give the notion that their might be a link between a thought that the person had to pay for this or that when he received the gospel. God is very clear about this. Jesus fed 5000 people just to prove this point. He gave the gospel freely. And they didn't have to go and buy food, lest someone could say "yes I did go listen but I had to buy my own food." Jesus was extremely serious about this. So should you be. Whether you pray, prophecy, heal, give a word of wisdom or knowledge. Your not ALLOWED to ask money. To stress this further. My gift is one of leadership and I learned it early on that I were to give people wisdom and knowledge which would aid people emotionally, spiritually and so forth. So one of my family suggested I become a phsycologist. Since I was good at aiding people with their problems. But I am not allowed by God. For phsycologists ask money for their aid. And His words to me was this, that if I do want to become a phsycologist I would loose the gifts of the spirit partaining to aid people, lest I ask money for God's gift. So I became a teacher instead. That which I teach (suppose to and get paid for) is not concerning God's gifts but school work. And that which I teach of God I do not ask money for.
To further the example: The other day I healed a man in his shop by God's authority. The man then afterwards wanted to give me a cooldrink, just to say thank you. God told me and I knew I had to refuse. For the thanks and the glory must go to God without exeption, lest I taint the gift which was from God with my earthly desire.
If you study as a pastor you may not ask for anything from anyone to whom you give the gospel freely. And the gospel must be given freely to all. All aspects of the gospel. You would be hold responsible for every single word that is spoken by you (whether your church agrees with you, is irrelevant). Also every word that is spoken by you in the hearing or under the authority of another pastor that is wrong and that pastor did not immediately speak against it, will be brought immediately against that pastor or authority in the spirit and the reprecussions would be great.
As pastor of the church it is your duty to adhere and listen to the voice of God constantly and edify, warn, motivate and repremand your congregation and all that are listening to you. It is your duty to go in and out fo season. When you feel like it, or not. Is irrelevant. When God says go, you go. Any youth pastor underneath you, you must train and disciple into his profession. But futher than that it is your responsibility to teach each one of your congregation how to hear God's voice and draw closer to Him. And when I say hear, you must hear Him word for word, whether through thought or audible. For you need to know exactly what He wish to say and relay this to His people, or He would take the responsibility of those words against you.
You will be trailed and tested harder because you need to be more flawless. But your reward in Heaven is also good. Everything you received and have is grace. Everything you will receive is grace. There is no place for arrogancy.
You need to teach the young to find God, and the lack of doing it would be hold against you. You need to build the faith of others and the lack of doing it would be hold against you. You need to listen and council others and the lack of this will be held against you. You need to suffer the pains of others with them, and being tired is not an excuse. When people reject your words, you need to try harder but not destroy yourself.
Your obedience should be pure. What God's says you do. You need to make sure that every word coming out of your mouth whether in church of or out of it, when you speak is first checked by the Holy Spirit before you provide it, because to the other person it would be seen as if you did it. And if you did not, then God will hold you accountable for everything that which was said wrongfully.
For every believer that leaves your church and leaves christianity you are held accountable, but every believer that accepts Christ as His Lord and Saviour you are not held accountable. For thus is the work of the Holy Spirit and therefore not your doing. But if he accepted Christ and was in your church and leaves Christ, then you are held responsible. It would be better for you to stop the church, run out of the church after him and to his aid, then to tend to the flock in the church and let that one perish, for that one you would be hold accountable for.
If a child has not chosen the path of Christ and goes from one religion to another while sometimes attending your church. It is the path that the child leads and you are not held accountable for him. But you are hold accountable to give him the message from God. Your preparation of your preaching should always be from the heart of God, irrespective what people say. Irrespective whether they like or not like you. If you are told to preach about one thing by someone, then you preach the words from God. If you are told by a higher authority to preach something. Preach which was said, but also preach the words from God. Thus you fulfill your obligation to authority. And God will honour you for that.
It is your responsibility to develop the people and children in your care in all aspects of their life. For everything affects the spirit. Judge the deed not the person. If a homosexual wants to enter your church. Allow him. For he might be saved from his affliction. If he wants to get married to someone of the same gender, do not allow him the ceremony, for then you affirm his sin as being rightious. And God will hold it against you and not them. If someone divorce his wife to marry another, do not allow him the ceremony for he is unrightious before God and you would be affirming his sin as rightious and you not him would be held responsible.
If you affirm a sin therefore, then reward of that sin would fill your life. If you deny the sin, but respect the person and aid the person. Then God will honour you.
These are but a few of the burden to any who wish to give themselves to teach others and minister to others. It is not a maybe. But merely a part of what you must do. But I am sure the Holy Spirit can fill you in on the rest if you hear Him word for word.
This burden is especially difficult for any woman with children and family to bear, as her heart would naturally first want to go to them as is in her nature. But the burden may under no circumstances be shifted. God must come first. The work of God second. Your family third and you last.
In everyone else's life. God comes first. Their family second. Them last.
But if you accept this. And are truthfully willing. And you are willing to constantly be under the authority of another and He accepts you under his authority. And the reason why you may not be the lead or head pastor of a church is so that you do not underminde the principle of the Bible concerning authority.
And remember your competitive personality and that you need to put that aside. For the work is not about you, but a love gift. Which means. Your life is a gift (absolutely free) given out of true Love for God. A gift cannot be a gift if their is strings attached, then is a trade. Being a pastor must be a gift.
Respect the authority of the apostles, prophets and evangelists in your house. And those that are young train them in this, lest they go astray. For they would yearn after that which comes natural to them regardless. So if one in your congregation has the gift of a prophet, train them to here and adhere to God's voice. Explain to them their dreams and how to understand them. Explain to them why their senses work the way they do. (If you have a problem understanding how they work, you may contact me and I'll aid you) And the same with the young apostles. For their lives are confusing enough that you do not have to confuse it further with non-acceptance.(again if you do not understand ask me, and I'll tell you in private. Because their are some to whom these pearls are not meant for) Careful that your young evangelists in your church do not get hold of false doctrines, for it would be a while before they get it our of their cycle and the damage would be hard on your church. (again if you do not understand what I said here . PM me. )
Those that are under your care is your responsibility and I would wish you well and blessing. But many would not understand and more would redicule. However, one must listen to God, not man.
PS: Can woman do all things? No. Neither can man. But God can do all things.
