h yes, 1 Timothy chapter 3...... funny, we don't hear a lot about that passage but it's very important:

4An overseer must manage his own household well and keep his children under control, with complete dignity. 5For if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how can he care chu for therch of God? 6He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same condemnation as the devil. 7Furthermore, he must have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the snare of the devil.

Oh teacher....is this not your post:unsure:
If you are talking to me then yes I did post that scripture :giggle:. But why is it "teaching" when I do it, and "informing" when you do it?

Brother, let us stop bickering back and forth, makes no sense at this point.
On that point, I agree with you..... it doesn't seem like you are understanding what I am trying to tell you. Please do spend more time growing in Christ before you do too much "informing", though! ;)

It was the woman who fell to temptation first in the garden (Genesis 3:6), it was a woman first who Jesus confessed to being (John 4:26), and it was women first who went to the tomb and who first met the risen Christ (Matthew 28:5)(John 20:15)

Nothing is by coincidence with God, so what do you think ?
For me its not like 3000 died (Moses) then NT 3000 saved. I don't see Eve as being the 1st to be deceived/tempted because Adam "who was with her". Were not reading everything that was said and done. Just enough for what we need here.

Since I cannot recall the post in question, I surely cannot tell you...

But I will say that when you are quickly approaching 70, you may have such lapses as well LOL

what is missing? Eve was in direct conversation with Satan and thus deceived first regardless where Adam was at the time.

you're too much.lol
Thank you, I shall take that as a compliment .

I truly do wish you the best and I think your heart is mostly in the right place. But you need to be careful with your "informing". You do not seem to have a gift for it. :censored:

And yes I am leaving the thread, we're obviously not going to have a fruitful conversation. I wish you all the best though! (y)

please put up the scripture that states a womans role in the church is to Shepherd over it, curious:unsure:
I don't hold to the view that only those things expressly stated in Scripture are permissible... so I have no need to do so.

You cannot have a household unless you are married and the op is not by his own admission and is only three yrs old. Of course we have no actual reputation of anyone participating in this forum unless they insist on demonstrating what that might be as the most contentious here are so happy to do.

Brother, take the time and do the research and then come back and let's talk about what you discovered about the percentage of women today becoming pastors. And not just woman pastors, gay woman pastors.
Having been in a good many churches in 3 different countries and having held leadership positions in some of them and being friends with teachers and pastors in others, I doubt that you, yet in the youth of your salvation, could possibly in any way shape or form, know more about it than do I. My knowledge is first hand and that would include research and actually being present sometimes with those who deviate from scripture with regards to being gay or trans or whatever.

But we are not discussing that according to your op, so your little less beaten path in case of emergency, is not going to save the day here. Have you buckled in yet? The sudden stop can give you whiplash you know.
