Most of those apply to spiritual wellness and how the Holy Spirit heals us TODAY spiritually.
Interesting how you accuse others of cherrypicking yet are guilty of it yourself.
WOF and its successors works for healthy people who are educated or in a wealth
creating stage of their life. What is happening anyway is then suddenly turned into
an answer to prayer. For any preacher his congregation will self select. Those who
have troubles and get disillusioned will leave, while the blessed will stay, because the
words have been proven to them, and everyone they share with has the same story,
so it must be true.

And then God gives gold fillings, legs that grow longer, easy deceptions that people
want to be true more than questioning whether it exists at all.
Pastors can perform turning water into wine tricks, or any number of ways of hyping
up the congregation, and in the end, to believe they are being conned by men who
are greedy and manipulative, is just too difficult, even when it is before their eyes.

Just think, tell the truth, the money goes, people leave, future empty and unknown, have
to actually trust God, or keep on lying, deceiving, and the money flows, the people are
happy, and the show goes on. It corrupts the people, even if at the start they where
sincere, by the end it is just a merry go round.

I am afraid this is very close to the truth.

Even if there was "proof". Jesus tells us this:

Matthew 7:22 ►
New International Version
Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?'
Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
I ask myself what Christian group will argument by such things.

Catholics? No. Orthodox? No. Lutherans? No. Anglicans, methodists, baptists etc? No.

Pentecostals/charismatics? Yes, only they. But it is only their self-illusion, they are making no real miracles at all. Only suggestions/hypnosis.

I am grateful more folks than ever are now seeing this WOF for what it is..... damnable doctrine. This was something I have been talking about for just over a year, & had but few to see it.

hasn't this run its course?

it's this simple, MATT. 7:20. = 'Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them'.

You shall be as God KNOWING GOOD AND EVIL.. the quote was half right.. What about where the Bible says SO ARE WE IN THIS LIFE.. paraphrasing or using different words, I know some cant handle semantics of different sorts.. Perspective is the only thing about this that trips folks up and its why some think its wrong.. If you are mature in areas and can look at it from the view mature people can, then prosperity is not wrong and neither is some of the things they say bc if you really are hearing from God he does talk as a friend.. You are wrong if you love money and want it bc you want it.. It is a tool. Nothing wrong with wanting to be able to have it so you can use it..

Also the quote from KH book on Authority I have and it grossly miss quoted

But that's what you get when folks pull up from youtube and other people instead of doing it themselves and asking God for wisdom

My last post on this

Jesus came with GOOD NEWS about victory and being set free.. He overcame, everything so we could..
All thru the NT we see we are told we are more than, and we are seated in heavenly places with Christ

I read thru this thread and see no good news.. see to hope for no victory.. well that's not what drew me to Christ and its not what the Bible says....

We are told we will suffer bc the kingdom suffers violence.. from where? the kingdom of darkness bc satan is in opposition.. we wrestle not against flesh and blood...

I see sicknesses and death in the NT being taken away and life restored to glorify the Father.. what glory is in weak, sick, broke people? none

You are fighting against the body and wonder why defeat is present.. what does the word say? when one suffers we all do.. so you think your words don't come back on you? judge so youre not judged bc with the measure you give so it will be back unto you..

A house divide cannot stand.. You guys attack Gods chosen.. You cant do His work without grace and the HS.. but never mind bc you don't agree with what they teach... they teach obedience above all else if you ever have ears to hear, youd know..

The Bible said to watch out for those who creep in but deny Jesus... If they claim Him and Him as Lord, the you are speaking AGAINST THE WRONG PEOPLE..

God looks like a provider and a healer to me.. who blesses those who keep His ways not just read His word....

So is she healthy because she named and claimed it, or because she had good genes and a healthy environment?
Without the work of the Lord... there would be no health at all.

He rains on the just and the unjust (Matthew 5:45) because He is merciful.

I'm not "bragging" as carnal minded people may claim, I'm giving glory unto the Lord by giving Him the credit for one of the very good things in my life after having sufrfered many bad things as a child and as a young adult.

Carnal minded people always feeding on bad stuff, claiming God doesn't heal anymore and God is mean and you better watch out God is gonna git'cha and other such nonsemse.

Psalm 84:11
No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly

Walking upright before the Lord involves accepting ALL of His Word, not playing religious games. God knows the heart so nobody can fool Him, He knows and sees all so repentance should be in order for those that attack God's promises claiming they are not true or have passed away.

Most of those apply to spiritual wellness and how the Holy Spirit heals us TODAY spiritually.
How you receive God's promises determines how they will minister to you, so for you it's just spiritual and does not include physical or mental health. Enjoy.

You ignore all the scriptures about tribulation
s

No, actually I do not and have experienced all sort of really bad times in my life. In Mark 4:13-20 Jesus outlines the 5 things satan uses to attempt to choke God's Word out of our lives... when I forst got saved, nobody told me about this so I had no warning and the devil worked me over for several years... so yeah, I'm very very familiar with hard times brutha bro man.

Thru God's promises I have grown to be an overcomer, and now I do not allow satan and his minions to walk over me... I cast the out and I seek God's wisdom from His Word to enable me to deal wisely in all the affairs of life.

Most bad things people experience happen to to bad decisions due to a lack of yielding to God's wisdom.

God is well able to teach people how to do well and avoid many hard times if we yield to His Word.

Then, there are those that desire hard times so they can get attention from others and/or cause they think God puts hard times on them to teach them (they don't know God sent the Holy Spirit to teach us)... and so, hard times is what they have all the time.

God why do WOF folks sound so much like Job's three deceived friends?
Job and his friends did not have the entire Word of God available to them like we do know, so they could learn from the mistakes others have made and avoid a lot of self inflicted garbage by leaving the door open to the devil to come in and slap them around.

Maybe some day we can talk about Job and kill some religious sacred cows on that subject.

If you think catholics teach what God's Word teaches... Good luck with that! That's false teaching.

If you'll study some of this charismatic garbage going around you'll find much of it came from old time catholic mystics and is as false and one can get cause... it's a different jesus which is an angel of light.

Exactly!

One of the faith ministers made this comment. I know I read it in a magazine but cant remember who or which magazine. Was long ago.

To pray with someone else in faith, you have to come down to their level. Find out where they can exercise their faith, then agree.

Its our own individual walk and we are dealt with by Holy Spirit individually. From early on, I saw the overcoming walk of the believer, so I set this as my goal. To stop would be like a message in another language...can't understand it because its what has been appointed to me. Its also a progressive walk. I can look back and see how immature I was in so many things, and I can look forward and see where I need to go yet.

It doesn't make one any better than another...it makes us able ministers to those who are around us. Its of God as He sets us in His body.

That's what Benny Hinn taught, they're all little gods....pathetic.
Now, you've stepped on my toes.

You don't understand the meaning of this. In the eyes of the enemy, if one is filled with Holy Spirit..which Benny Hinn is, and is moving in the power of Holy Spirit, which he does...he is like "god". To men that are evil, to men looking for God, and to the devils themselves.

Be careful what you all are judging. Judgement tends to come back...

Ephesians 5:1
Be ye therefore followers (imitate, act like) of God, as dear children

We can either act like God does, or we can act like the devil does which is in opposition to God.

It's a choice all people have to make... walking after the flesh is acting like the devil, being led by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ based on God's Word is acting like and following the Lord.

Very odd that those that claim God's promises are not true get all lathered up over it... first clue that they are listening to the devil.

If you saw no good news in this thread, you forgot to read Angela's posts.

There are many of us living the Good News. Our bodies may die but we still get eternity with Christ. And for some of us, bodies dying is GREAT!

My Last Time of Dealing with "Disability/Illness is Unbelief" Posts
You have every right to accept illness or disability if you'd like... that's your call.

All others are saying is Jesus has provided a way to escape those things because ultimately they are not from God are came upon mankind as a result of Adam and Eve plunging the entire human race in to darkness.

Jesus would like to see folks delivered from illness / disability while the devil smiles and very much enjoys seeing people in tat condition. Putting up with this sort of thing is not for me based on the fact Jesus has already paid for it, but others seem to not be troubled by it.

None the less, the Word does not teach that not receiving healing is the unpardonable sin so if one is otherwise walking with the Lord then they will go to Heaven when they die.

I can agree with that... and it has nothing to do with God's Word teaching that healing is available today.

Hinn, Copeland, Osteen, et al are high minded money grubbers that are part of the ecumenical movement among other false teaching... I wouldn't give these guys the time of day along with most TV preachers.

At the beginning of their broadcast it should say "for entertainment purposes only"
