for someone who uses as much sarcasm as you do, you don't seem to recognize it when someone else uses it on you
That's cause... I don't care!

I'm doing what God said to do... cast my cares upon Him cause He cares fo me! (Psalm 55:22, 1 Peter 5:7)

Superman has lead and you have...ummmm...a huge ego

you are not the keeper of God's promises little man. not now and not ever

you stand about 3'2" in that category and most of us see right over your head, which seems to be the biggest part of your anatomy cause it is full of hot air

see?

I'm real good at being as sarcastic as you so I hope you get it now.

sometimes you really do have to answer someone the way the speak so they get it

I'm slumming it though to do it, so don't get spoiled
Is that supposed to hurt my feelings or something?

It just shows that satan is really worried about truth of God's promises being real is being talked about so he has to try and scare me off, discourage it, or hurt the feelings of those in opposition to religion.

It's quite funny actually... keep 'em coming! I enjoy a good laugh, especially at the devil's expense!

I did not create the moniker
You're right... the Lord did by speaking this thru the Apostle Paul:

Romans 10:1-11
Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (deliverance).
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Apparently some do not actually believe and are therefore ashamed...

Rockrz Did you notice that nobody ever uses the name of any god as a cuss word? Only the name of Jesus is used as an expletive. You're a thinking man, why do you suppose that is? Hmmm Not why do you suppose you're a thinking man, why do you suppose Jesus is the only one who's name is treated that way? Have you noticed too..That every time someone works to grow closer to and more like Jesus, all the sniopers come out? Sniop pronounced Sny op means Susceptible to negative input of other people. The snioper is the person who sniops. Every time someone starts to grow in the Lord, Satan uses somebody to jump on them and to pack them down again.. Word is Vital...Faith to stand on the Word is vital...But word of faithis wrong?! Excuse me?! Thats bent thinking.

Just proves Jesus was right in Mark 4:13-20 and should be no surprise.

In fact, we should anticipate satan's attacks so we can laugh at him as he's going by... cause one thing is fo sho, he's always out to try and get people to throw God's promises out and go back to being carnally minded.

So? Ariel How do you stand on those promises? The promises of Jesus I mean...Do you speak the promise? Do you put the bible under your pillow? What do you do to stand on the promises?
I have faith and trust in God to fulfill all He actually promised, but I reject false promises made by others.

How do I stand? By the grace of God.

How do I walk? By following His Holy Spirit

God speaks His promises and I listen and read them in His Bible.

I don't put it under my pillow like a magic talisman.

I have them written in my heart by God.

He promises to love me and has adopted me as His beloved child.

What more can people want?

oddly the laying of the bricks the chicken knew was for chopping his head off, yet crossed the road anyways.

So, is it wrong to say what God says about you as a born again child of God...

Do you consider these to be false promises??? Just curious...

Jesus Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law (of sin and death), being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is every one that hangs on a cross....that the blessing of Abraham would come on the gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Romans 8:16,17
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the Children of God....and if Children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:29-31
For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren....moreover who He did predestinate, them He also called: and those He called, them He also justified: and those He justified, them He also glorified....what shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Hebrews 4:14-16
We have a great High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession (confession of the promises in the Covenant)....for we have not an High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin....let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The illness Jesus saved us from is death and sin by giving us eternal life.

What do you think it means when the Bible says that Jesus will "raise them up" if they are sick?

James 5
13Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. 14Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.b 17Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. 18Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.

19My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, 20let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.

That would be scary, almost like seeing tombs open up and people who were once dead standing around for three days. lol

OH! But they're all out of context! Not! So why does Word Faith not work for some?....They do have enough faith, so that's not it.
Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

So! The measure...Only one measure....We all get the same amount of faith...Good to know.... So either the some don't believe God, or they don't believe God...God must be a liar?

So... do you consider these to be false promises??? If you do, it will make satan very, very happy

1 Peter 2:24
Jesus carried our sins in his own body on the cross, so that we, being dead to sin, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.

Matthew 8:17

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Isaiah 53:4, 5
Jesus has carried our grief (pain, anxiety, calamity, disease, sickness), and carried our sorrows (anguish, affliction, feelings of pain, sadness and sorrow): yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted....but He was wounded (to wound, to break, be slain or killed) for our transgressions, He was bruised (crush, destroy, oppress, to collapse) for our iniquities: the punishment (violence, rebuke) of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. (He took our wounds, so we could take his wholeness & health in every area of life)

Proverbs 4:20-23
Attend to My words; incline your ear unto My sayings....let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart....for they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh....keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it flow the forces of life.

James 5:15
The prayer of faith shall save the sick (from being sick!)

Exodus 15:26

If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and will do that which is right in His sight, and will give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will not put any diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that heals you.

Exodus 23:24-26

You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do their works: but you shall utterly overthrow them, and destroy their images.
And you shall serve Adonai your God, and He shall bless your food and drink; and I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: and you will live out the full span of your lives.

Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross to heal your flesh, and to give you enough stuff?

As we have moved from the law of sin and death to the law of the spirit, what would it profit God to heal your flesh? He can heal you if He desires, He is after all God, but do you believe that you calling on Him to do so will move His hand?

I believe He is concerned with the health of our hearts and minds, and that our spiritual health and relationship with Him is His primary concern.

The Old covenant was concerned with the flesh but no where in the Old Covenant does it say that if you obey all of the commandments that you will know your God, it says you will get more flour for your kneading bowl, and that your children won't be eaten by wild animals etc etc,

The New Covenant gives us a relationship with our God, and there is a clear delineation between the two covenants, mashing the two together for the indulgence of your flesh (health and wealth) profits God nothing.

So your flesh and the well being of your finances are no longer a concern to God.

Your heart and mind and Spirit most certainly are.

So why did God come and die for us? Health and wealth, or relationship?
Certainly He can give us both, but He doesn't give us all both, and it has nothing to do with a "level" of faith. If I die penniless and starving tomorrow, I already have everything I need for life and godliness.

What a glorious God.
