You aren't saying anything wrong. This I heard from Holy Spirit some months ago. Faith has substance in the spiritual realm, and Father is pleased when He sees it. It draws Him to us to establish His Word then in the natural.

out of the mouths of babes

maybe you should listen?
If I'm not doing it right then how did they come into being?
By immaculate conception?
I had to be doing something right.
No complaints from my wife anyway.:p

Thank you for saying so ma'am.
I really do seek God for truths in His word in all pureness of heart, but most of the time I will hear something to lead me in a certain direction.
What I got is that faith IS the literal substance of the things we believe we have, even as the worlds were made from a substance that is not seen.
A couple of years ago, I asked God about the flesh of Jesus, how he could appear one moment and vanish the next?
When Jesus appeared before the disciple for the first time, He said touch me for a spirit hath not FLESH AND BONE, as ye see me have.
I asked God how Jesus' flesh and bone went from the natural world to the spirit world, because it is written that corruption or the flesh and bone cannot inherit incorruption, or pass from the natural world to the supernatural world, and this is what got.
I was immediately given a scene of an old Clark and Lois Superman series, when Clark vibrated so fast that he passed through things in the natural world.
Then I was told that by changing the speed at which all of the physical cells vibrate, God is able to cause the flesh and bone to pass from one world to another. And that the material things in the spirit world are just as real and hard as they are in this world, only they vibrate at a different speed and therefore are in a different realm.
This is what I heard but I didn't know if it was true or not.
Then about a year ago, I found out from a documentary from some scientists that it is true.
So what I believe is that the substance of things we hope for, is very real and created in the other world. It just hasn't passed from the other world to this world, like that which is written concerning the word, how it was made flesh.
Does any of that make sense to you?

By the way, I always quote that verse the way I wrote it, because I first heard it that way, and when I looked up the Greek word strengtheneth, and it said the same thing I heard, I figured it was of God.
That was the time when God was teaching me about spirits and how they come into being.
What He was showing me is all abilities come from spirits, and that particular scripture verse was one of the ones He told me about to confirm the words I was hearing.
For example, a prophet of God is a prophet only because of the type of spirit God put in him. Remove the spirit of prophecy and the person will not be able to prophesy anymore. Like the spirit that Paul cast out of the young girl who had a spirit of divination.
When the spirit was gone out of her, she could no longer divine for others.
That spirit enabled her to divine.
The same applies to the children of God.
Like Jesus said, "ye can do nothing of yourselves except ye abide in the vine".

The point I was making is what many do here on CC.
They argue about things they know little to nothing about, much less being able to see what is being said.
No checking, studying, or seeking God, just, you're wrong because it doesn't happen that way in the natural and because so and so says so.
And again, it's also like if you were on my wife's dirt list, then you were on my children's dirt list as well, and if you were in good favor with my wife, then you were the same with my children.
People who attend churches tend to be just like that. They just know what they've been told by those in whom the look up to. So if the leader says they are bad then the congregation sees them as bad and so, in their eyes, they are bad. All because the leadership says so and then amplifies the small flaw caused by someone who believed the same way and look at what happened to them. While ignoring all the good.
Politicians and laws are good at that.

This I don't understand know1. Why would a gift leave? And not all that prophesy are prophets. At least that's what I've heard.

My younger days were when I was used in the gifts to others. Now, I've had experiences for myself. Ive been warring with His Word since 2010. Against illness. And I know the Word has power. Just keep on in faith and breakthrough begins. :)

I'm sorry, I didn't explain myself very well.
I wasn't suggesting that a gift of God would leave, though I don't know for certain bha but rather the reason why the man has the ability to prophesy. I do think however that the gifts are subject to the will of God, in that, they operate when He wants to reveal something.
And that is true concerning prophecies.
Indeed, not all are prophets that prophesy, even as it is written in 1 Corinthians 14.
Below is a roundabout way I received understanding of what I said above.
About 7 years ago, I was studying the bible when I came across two words that seem synonymous. One was the heart and the other was the spirit. Sometimes the heart and mind seemed to be the same as well. From there I had a desire to know how man was made up. So I asked God, and He started me out on the heart. I went through almost all of the 895 verses in the bible, with prayer along with meditating on every verse. Took me three whole months, but I finally got it.
Anyway, after that it was on to the spirit of man and God.
One of the thing He showed me was that God the Father, Jesus, His Word or the Holy Ghost, man, and the devil, all are able to multiply themselves, producing what the bible refers to as "seed". Another word for seed is offspring, and an offspring of and from a spirit is going to produce another spirit after its kind, because according to the law of genesis, everything produces after it's own kind. So that which comes from God will be like God and that which comes from the devil will be like the devil. One of the verses that demonstrates this is in Number 11:17 and 25. Look up the word "of", in those verses and tell me what you see.
I don't know for certain, but many of the gifts mentioned in the new testament seem to be temporal or sporadic, operating when God wants them to, in that they come on a person when they are in prayer or during church services.
Like it does for my wife. She prophesies only when she is in prayer, but God still shows her thing when she is not in prayer. Like where to find something. If something goes missing, sure enough, she will be the one to find it saying, "God told me to look here".
When a prophet wants the prophesy over someone, or if a person asks them to, they are able to prophesy, even at will. That is because the spirit that is in the prophet, giving him the ability to prophesy, is subject to the prophet.
This is not so with the gifts given to the church. Words of knowledge or wisdom, or revelations don't operate when we want them to but when God wants them to.
I personally don't know if the gifts stick around, stay in us or what, I haven't sought God on it, nor have I received any revelations on the subject.
I am open to learning more about it if anyone has something to reveal.
So to answer your question, I don't know if the gifts stay or go.
God did say that the gifts and calling of God are without repentance or irrevocable.

oh baloney

surely you are aware of what God says about an undeserved curse?

or how about giving an account for every word?

even if you consider someone your enemy you are still to bless and not curse

are you actually so full of religious spirits that you consider yourself able to send someone to hell?

you are a pompous bag of wind

since last night you have been intimating at being the hand of judgement against other people here

false and that crow might just come home to roost

Are you asking for a blessing?

Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
2Pe 3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

I say again, what the word of God does, God says He does, even though it is the word of God that does the work, like the soldiers that do the actual fighting, when the generals take the credit for winning the battle or war.
I figured since you neglected to keep in your post what I wrote, I would copy and paste, plus a few enhancements, since you missed it the first time.
It is the word of God, that is the power of God, that is the actual worker, or the one doing the work it was sent to do. Even as it is written,
"He SENT his word, and [the word He sent] healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
And you, supposedly, have the same "word" power as God?

Cool. Now, speak one blade of grass into existence from nothing.

I'll wait.

Yes, I do see, but not with your simple understanding.
Would you like me to show you this concept in the bible?
You can't. That concept is only in your imagination and WOF books and cd's.

I thought your specialty was judging and cursing?

at any rate, God has already blessed me and continues to do so
I believe the Lord does so too.

And sound judgement is from the Lord.
Though I don't believe you have an understanding of what cursing is.
There were at times when Israel blessed and cursed, each a top a different mountian. This where even a certain man blessed israel.

To rebuke or warn someone of danger. Is because someone is genuinely concerned for another's well being.

I dont recall reading of any ba'al worshipers here in this forum.

Or did i miss something.
this entire thread premise is nothing more than an advertising tactic.

Which is why i was trying to warn you to be careful.
Unfortunately These types of things are all over the internet. And so there really is no need to even discuss them.

I would even advise the mods to shut the thread down.

What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

Genesis 14 King James Version (KJV)

14 And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations;
2 That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.
3 All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea.
4 Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.
5 And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emins in Shaveh Kiriathaim,
6 And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto Elparan, which is by the wilderness.
7 And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar.
8 And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim;
9 With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five.
10 And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.

11
And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way.

12 And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.
13 And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram.
14 And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.
15 And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.
16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.
17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's dale.

18
And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.19 And he blessed him, and said,
Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

21
And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.

22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom,
I have lift up mine hand unto the Lord, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.

1 Timothy 6:10 King James Version (KJV)
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
