As I repeat, Christians are not under the law for salvation, but Christians will be judged by their works. I find what works are pleasing to the Lord, they need to listen to the law. It is scripture who tells us this, I am an innocent by stander.

Matt. 16: 27: For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

Romans 2:6 He will render to each one according to his works:
Yes, believers shall have their works judged, but that has nothing to do with the law.

are job is to obey the law the best we can.
Where is this in scripture?

The pharisees tried this. and failed miserably. Even though according to the law. They were the most law abiding citizens.

Lets look to the law of Christ. and stop putting people under the law which was given for one purpose. To bring a person to their knees and point them to Christ.

more dodging I see

no surprise there

you simply cannot handle anything in scripture indicating salvation is through Christ alone
She has been doing this since I first met her. Just keep pointing this out so others can see..

They will be judged by their works. Not according to the law of moses. But according to the law of Love.

When you figure out what the law of love is. you will see this

Perhaps it is a loosing battle to present the scripture telling us of scriptures about works, obedience, or the kingdom of God, but I keep thinking it is worthwhile to tell the world of how God looks at these things. There seems to be a solid wall against any of these scriptures, I only get negative feed back except for the very few. God tells us that there is always a remnant.

Praise the Lord, the majority of Christians are not against faith in Christ, and that is the core, the basic principle, the all important understanding we are to have. So go ahead with all your rants against working for the Lord, so be it.
here is your opening sentence from this op:

I wonder if there are any Christians who give a rip about the way the Lord looks at our works?
THAT is your attitude towards other Christians no matter how much you want to pretty it up and put a bow on it

I think the word is hypocrisy

With all these posts accusing me of everything except being a Christian, posts based on opposition to law, and with you leading many of them, could you answer: do you give a rip about scripture about obedience to law?

There is a new post centered on psalm 104 that points to how orderly (lawfully) our world is, the Lord is not against my praising the law. You are.

Yes, believers shall have their works judged, but that has nothing to do with the law.
Many agree with you, almost the entire organized church. God tells us on what principles God will judge by giving us the law that is denied by the church. Many wrap law around commands given to help with the spirit of the law like circumcision, to justify their denial.

you are very good at attempting to deflate what you actually say...but it is only attempting because we can still read what you post and get an accurate picture of what it is you are trying to veer away from

here again, are YOUR words...YOUR attitude to other Christians who understand the law is NOT making anyone holy before God and YOUR attitude which seems to broadcast your virtue signalling in every thread you start and those you sidetrack with your personal interpretations

so again, YOUR words. OWN them. they are YOURS.

perhaps they do not seem so righteous when repeated back to you?

apparently you do not give a 'rip' (your word) about any scripture that states plainly that the law is not something Christians live by

so, rippity do dah day.

All who sin apart from the law will perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. Romans 2:12

Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes, Romans 10:4

Know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified Galatians 2:16

But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree Galatians 3:13

you refuse to deal with ALL New Testament scriptures that point out your error of thinking the law plays any part in you salvation. don't say these scriptures do not apply to the op because they absolutely do apply to the op

the problem for you, is that you want to discuss YOUR private interpretation and the Bible says there is no private interpretation. There is scripture and it is plain to see that the law CURSES those who believe it plays a part in salvation

Christians are free from the Mosaic law...not free to sin, but free from the curse of the law and that is what you refuse, utterly refuse, to acknowledge.

Those Jews who are working to obey the Lord even though they do not obey that they are to accept Christ are, according to polls, reaping great rewards in all ways except eternal life from friends and family, to wealth, to honors they are given. Christians could have these same rewards on top of the major reward of eternal life if we would open our eyes to the advantages of works.

it is apparent you are trying to say that obedience to 'law' creates blessings from God

you do not understand that a person's behavior does not cancel Gods blessings. So what did God say to Abraham? Seems Jews in the year 2021 are reaping the benefits then...if a person wishes to go by your little scenario

people reap the side effects of their sin as well....perhaps you need to study up on the history of the Jews as a nation. that might open up your eyes if you think there is great reward in law keeping....study the OT...all the prophets who warned again and again about God's punishment going to fall if they kept on their deliberate and willful sin with the nations around them

again, you emphasize what 'sparkles and twinkles' in your understanding but you leave out the TRUTH that no nation on earth has been as persecuted as the Jewish nation. to say you have a biased eye, is the least of the problems with this op you have created

Do you want me to ask you to forgive me for studying scripture and loving the word? You truly are trying to wipe me out, make me into something terrible, and using a Christian site to do it. It started with my stating that I love the law, and all hell was heaped on me for that by many, many 'christians". Now, I have not said what I say but I say something different from what I said!!

It is like living in the days when Rome attacked Christians, thank heavens there is government that holds you back from anything but verbal attacks. So attack and accuse away, my cheek is turned you may think of new attack methods.

I will keep to the word, you may try to kill me but my eternal life with the word is more important than anything you can do to me. I will not deny anything of scripture.

Please post the scriptural reference(s) stating clearly that we are judged on principles of the law. No dodging, no smart-aleck retorts, just Scripture.

Rev. 20:10 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.

Psalm 62:12 and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”; and, “You reward everyone
according to what they have done.”

Matt. 16:27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

Romans 2:5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”[a]7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. 9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; 10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 11 For God does not show favoritism.

The spirit of the law tells us what works are within the kingdom of God and what works are not.

You have supported the idea that we are judged/rewarded according to what we have done. I don't see "principles of the law" anywhere in there. Please try again.

huh

got the 'alert' that Blik quoted my post.

the melodramatic fervor above may indicate some sort of rich fantasy life in which she imagines herself the very last Christian on earth.

she may have been upset because I quoted her unwarranted and rather nasty first sentence from this op:

I believe what Paul oppose is Jews think OT law still effective
We know Salvation need forgiveness. God way to forgive on the OT is through animal sacrifice. Than Jesus Himself make a New law, no need animal sacrifice He sacrifice Himself on the cross.

Now salvation not by OT law but NT law
John 3
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

With new law only need to believe His teaching, no animal sacrifice anymore

OT law not save you is that mean lawless, like murder, rob the bank save you?
Lawless not save you either.

New Jesus law save you

Grace through faith/ john 3:16
