Your position is your position.
HIS POSITION is HIS POSITION.

And all things are under HIS SOVEREIGN CONTROL...
ALL THINGS!

You take up so much space to say nothing. That summarises your position very well.
Yet you still do not even no my position.

And I will continue to prove that to you. Whether you like it or not. Until you repent, and start acknowledging you are wrong .and stop slandering people

See how silly your arguments are. Earlier you said I got mad, and that was wrong, Now I laugh, and you say this is wrong.. There is no winning with you. Period.. its you against the world (at least thats the way you come across. I could be wrong..

Another runaway train statement put the brakes on brother it's fruitless the position demonstrated above.
EG provokes endless threads with no points just accusations. It is never possible to really address because he puts forward no real content as to what he believes. I suspect because it never ends well for him.

On the issue of being a new creation in Christ, I am always interested in this subject, because it is so important.

Over time I have come to value words and deeds more and less super-spiritual mystical experiences.
I remember sharing with a brother about how the Lord blessed me when I was praising Him.
For him I think it came across as being one better, rather than me sharing how amazing God is.

So it is profound to say "Love one another as I have loved you."

If you know how little we often trust each other, you will understand how far in many churches
and groups we still need to go. I once suggested going round to a brothers house, and this was
definately not on. So just being hospitable and open, which is the beginning of friendship is hard
for many, but this is rocket science.

So when someone says we all agree with this, I go, I know we find this very hard to even start.
This is why religion is often religion even to those who declare so loudly they are not religious.

I do NOT know what you are saying.
The difference is that Elijah knew GOD and knew he was called of GOD.
I understand. You are saying I do not know God and are not called of God.
EG was saying Elijah sinned and could never walk blamelessly before the Lord.
His groups theology says legalism failed all the prophets and they did not please God.
It was only through Christ and the resurrection is true reconciliation found through faith for
past current and future sins. It is a dispensational view. It rejects we can truly walk
righteously today, or be blameless after God through Christ has done a good work in us.

Now you appear to be taking a different line. Now the Spirit I speak from is the Holy Spirit
working in my heart, for His glory. I wonder what your "true mantle" is.
It sounds like NAR type language. Rick Joyner and the mantle. Is this your group?

The theology EG is espousing in part is Joseph Prince and hyper grace.
Would not surprise me you have a different take on things.

EG - you want to say I do not know your position. Well if you want to contribute it, please do.
No one is stopping you, it seems stupid to claim you are being miss-represented then not representing
yourself. You always say something like this and then do nothing, pretty meaningless.

I want to create an illustration

A man climbs up in a square of a city and says, "I have been miss-represented, they have slandered
me and insulted me terribly. They lie about me all the time."

Everyone in the crowd says, who is this man, and what does he believe. They do not know.
The man gets down and wanders off, no one the wiser. That is EG, a ripple on a pond and then it is gone.

No...that really isn't what I was saying at all...
So what are you saying? I am all ears.

I have a particular view and direction of interpretation. I realise after many years that is
all we ever have. It can be hard to get the context someone is saying something in because
it is often a church culture out of which they come. So much is assumed as part of the
wall paper, that it is easily missed.

One guy said who held command theology, your words define your future, that I must be of
satan to not agree with him. He gave an example of someone in church who bound the spirit
in him but got struck to the floor by God, and he repented. I think he expected me to do the
same. Now Kenneth Copeland follows this idea, and many other fellowships. It relies on the mystic
idea we are actual gods who create exnihilo by our words.

Another member said is you admitted you were ill then you would be ill. Bit like christian science.
I mention these examples because I have no clue where you are coming from or what you read in
to things that I simply do not. So please indulge me, I am very patient. Call me evil and of satan,
I may not be so. I have not quite worked out how to respond to this kind of challenge, as it only
has happened here to me to date.

We are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is GOD who worketh in us to will and to do HIS GOOD PLEASURE

But, "fear and trembling" I believe translate to humility and awe before HIM...aware of HIS HOLINESS and a desire to do what is right before HIM because of our love of HIM...
got to agree with this

thanks! :)

on that note, work out our own salvation is something I think needs more 'work' with regards to being taught

lol.. Peter you make me laugh more and more

How many times today did I ask you to prove what you said?

Face it, If you knew what we believed, You would say, Well So and so believes this.. And it would match So and So's belief.

In fact, I am sick of this game, so time to go back where it started.. You pulled me into your stuff again, Shame on you Peter.

I was a little confused with this analogy

A person could have love and kindness as a fruit in their life but be addicted to some pills or alcohol which they are continuing to struggle with in their life.

There is a lot of truth in sanctification takes time. If you have ever met addicted people, often the addiction hides deep emotional conflicts and unresolved hurts. Unless this is dealt with, unfortunately often the faith experience is just religion, and dies as the addiction takes hold and kills the person. So is trying to help in love now wrong? I wonder who puts this idea forward as sensible?
so you think we would just let this "addict" continue until he dies. with no love? With no discipline, With no counseling?
Why is it that you are so against trying to understand us peter?

Oh, And then you falsely called me a racist. Peter. Can you show the room why you think I am racist.

Just answer these three questions. lets get back to the thread. and stop with the silly pety fighting ok..

What I have found in my life is through doing we are changed. I have always found it hard to understand we never stay in one place but are always moving on to something else, getting old, having new interactions etc.

Taught often means acedemic sitting down and learning the theory. Most of what I have learnt has been with and through others, and not theory, but often battling through to a new position. BDF is often a good example of this.

Though EG would never admit it, he does challenge a lot of approaches I have taken and taught me how to respond in love.

Trouble is often love is in the eye of the beholder. Any child when told off by a parent never thinks kindly towards the parent. I often feel like a child before EG the teacher, but that is his style, lol. "stop doing this, do that..."

lets see.

You made an accusation (see my last post. I proved what I am about to say by reposting our conversations. )

Or do I need to do it again for you to see??

I asked you to prove your accusation.

You then made another accusation. In which case I asked you to explain whjy you would think we believes such a things, we never would believe. Then you do what you always do and got mad because you were confronted for the same crap.

But its all my fault.

lol.. Thanks peter. More laughs. just keep them coming.

A new creation - being a prophet

In our church people felt inspired at one time to say "Thus says the Lord"
One member was run over by a car, and the other fell out of a window.
There is a lot less of this kind of speaking.

Now being a prophet is still part of the churches ministry. But I have not heard
many real prophets, I have heard a lot of fake stuff.

A lot of christians say though they are new creations almost never hear God speaking
to them. So either they are deaf or the Lord does not speak often in this way to
His people.

lol. I am not even trying to win, I am just trying to show someone what they are doing..

It started by me asking him a few questions, then he draws me into this long heated battle..

I should just stick to the original questions from now on..
