Luke 19:1-11 -- The People sought to destroy Him

1 And he entered and was passing through Jericho. 2 And behold, a man called by name Zacchaeus; and he was a chief publican, and he was rich. 3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the crowd, because he was little of stature. 4 And he ran on before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. 5 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to-day I must abide at thy house. 6 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. 7 And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, He is gone in to lodge with a man that is a sinner. 8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord, Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have wrongfully exacted aught of any man, I restore fourfold. 9 And Jesus said unto him, To-day is salvation come to this house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.

Many people are asking what it is that these protesters want. They want justice. But what law needs to change? They want police fired, suspending them is a “slap in the face”. So according to that the way to rectify injustice is to deny a fair trial to the police? The mayor of Rochester was extremely sympathetic to their calls, yet explained that there is a process. In this country you are innocent until proven guilty. Jamal Khashoggi was a Saudi Arabian dissident, author and columnist for the Washington Post. He was assassinated in October of 2018 and only today, almost a full two years later, the sentences are being handed down in the case. The idea that the mob sees a video of some terrible event, riots, loots, and the next day the court is going to pass sentence is not justice. Contrast this with Jesus' mission to “seek and save that which was lost”. No one has presented a path for salvation with these protests. The only consistent message being given is to get people fired based on mob rule. If that is your goal, to destroy them, then their only option is to fight you. Nelson Mandela understood this and he gave people a path to salvation. Gandhi also did, the path to salvation for the British was to pack up and leave.

11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they supposed that the kingdom of God was immediately to appear.

This is where we are today. We are near to a peace treaty with Israel concerning Jerusalem being made with the many. We are also seeing the internet flooded with dreams saying that the kingdom of God is going to immediately appear. When you are “near to Jerusalem”, near to this goal the “woke mob” will wake up to try and destroy you.

Luke 19:12-27 Three groups of believers

12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country, to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. 13 And he called ten servants of his, and gave them ten pounds, and said unto them, Trade ye herewith till I come. 14 But his citizens hated him, and sent an ambassage after him, saying, We will not that this man reign over us.

This story is cut short, in the other gospels it describes beating and killing the servants. The idea is that Luke is written to those that are raptured at the beginning of the age. You will see the beginning of this hatred, but not the full bloom. Mark is written to those who are raptured in the middle of the tribulation and there you will see the more extreme version of this story. Consider this quote for a little more context on “the citizens hating Him”. From George Orwell’s 1984: “Nearly all children nowadays were horrible. What was worst of all was that by means of such organizations as the Spies they were systematically turned into ungovernable little savages, and yet this produced in them no tendency whatever to rebel against the discipline of the Party. On the contrary, they adored the Party and everything connected with it… All their ferocity was turned outwards, against the enemies of the State, against foreigners, traitors, saboteurs, thought-criminals. It was almost normal for people over thirty to be frightened of their own children.” We aren’t there yet, but we do hear about
“The enemies of the state”, and “traitors, saboteurs, and thought criminals”. It is not hard for us to imagine them becoming ferocious. Again there is a progression from fearing to speak for the Lord lest they put you out of the synagogue to the time will come when whoever kills you will think they are offering service to God.

15 And it came to pass, when he was come back again, having received the kingdom, that he commanded these servants, unto whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by trading. 16 And the first came before him, saying, Lord, thy pound hath made ten pounds more. 17 And he said unto him, Well done, thou good servant: because thou wast found faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. 18 And the second came, saying, Thy pound, Lord, hath made five pounds. 19 And he said unto him also, Be thou also over five cities.

I think it is easy enough to understand that the ten pounds represents the gifts that the Lord has given. Some are more gifted than others. The one with 10 talents or 5 talents used those gifts for the glory of God. When the Lord returns at the end of the age they will have a powerful testimony of God’s grace and power. However, they were trading on the Lord’s gifts at a time when His citizens were in full rebellion against Him.

20 And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I kept laid up in a napkin: 21 for I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that which thou layedst not down, and reapest that which thou didst not sow.

This man is not a thief, he didn’t try to steal the talent. He also is not a liar, doesn’t pretend that someone stole it or give some story to explain why there is no interest. On the other hand he doesn’t want to be put out of the synagogue. He is “humpty dumpty”, he is attempting to hedge his bets.

22 He saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I am an austere man, taking up that which I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow; 23 then wherefore gavest thou not my money into the bank, and I at my coming should have required it with interest?

If you are going to invest you have three options. You can start your own business like Bill Gates did, or you can invest in the stock market like Warren Buffet did, or you can simply put the money in the bank. All three are valid options. If you are a ten talented person I think the best option is to start your own business. If you are a five talented person I think the best option is to invest in businesses that others start. If you are a one talented person the best option may be to put the money in the bank. But, if you are the Lord Jesus, your best option is to invest in everything. During this age the Lord has invested in all of us, when He returns that is when He will settle accounts. During an outbreak of “cancel culture” being silent is equivalent to being wicked. He claims to fear the Lord and yet acted in a way that showed He didn’t fear the Lord.

24 And he said unto them that stood by, Take away from him the pound, and give it unto him that hath the ten pounds. 25 And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds. 26 I say unto you, that unto every one that hath shall be given; but from him that hath not, even that which he hath shall be taken away from him.

This is the secret. Do you think Jobs and Wozniack knew how big Apple would become when they started in the garage? What they knew was that they had something. They invested in what they had and it continued to grow bigger. Do you know why Microsoft became a giant? They bought an operating system from a company that didn’t know what they had and then promised to sell an operating system to IBM based on what they bought. It is a prime example of someone thinking they didn’t have anything and selling what they did have. When you think your little experience or little word or little vision is too small and insignificant you aren’t being humble, you are being wicked. You are insulting the Lord who gave that to you. When you see some little garage operation grow into Google, or Amazon.com or Apple you are seeing the glory and power of God.

27 But these mine enemies, that would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

Right now on the internet there is this huge debate about premillennial rapture, post millennial rapture, etc. Look, the Lord here is dividing the believers into three groups. Those that start ministries, those that invest in ministries, and those that hide what they have been given. If you are actively involved in ministry whether as the minister or someone contributing to that ministry you have a very good chance to get a “well done” at the Lord’s return. If you have been hiding what the Lord has given you will likely get a rebuke as a wicked servant. You aren’t an enemy, you aren’t going to be slain, but there will be no reward for you when the Lord returns. Since we have these three groups why would they all be raptured together? I would compare the pre millennial rapture to Gideon’s army which only had 300. They go up to heaven and kick Satan out. Throughout the Bible we see that God’s people are not all lumped into the same category and do not all receive the same judgement.

Luke 19:28-48 Separating the wheat from the chaff

28 And when he had thus spoken, he went on before, going up to Jerusalem. 29 And it came to pass, when he drew nigh unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount that is called Olivet, he sent two of the disciples, 30 saying, Go your way into the village over against you; in which as ye enter ye shall find a colt tied, whereon no man ever yet sat: loose him, and bring him. 31 And if any one ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say, The Lord hath need of him. 32 And they that were sent went away, and found even as he had said unto them. 33 And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? 34 And they said, The Lord hath need of him. 35 And they brought him to Jesus: and they threw their garments upon the colt, and set Jesus thereon.

He just gave us a parable about three different servants. This colt is also a “servant” but one on which “no man ever yet sat”. I have heard from those that raise horses that it is generally not an easy thing to ride a colt on which no man ever sat. But what I get from this is that each one of us has our place in God’s kingdom. This colt doesn’t really fit into one of the three groups that Jesus already shared, so it is the other side of the coin. On one hand we have those who have ten talents, those with five talents and those with one. On the other hand the Lord has cattle on a thousand hills and He knows each one and has a purpose for each.

36 And as he went, they spread their garments in the way. 37 And as he was now drawing nigh, even at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen; 38 saying, Blessed is the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. 39 And some of the Pharisees from the multitude said unto him, Teacher, rebuke thy disciples. 40 And he answered and said, I tell you that, if these shall hold their peace, the stones will cry out.

I heard something that someone shared on a Youtube video. He said at the end of the age you see the angels separate out the wheat from the chaff and throw the chaff into the fire but they gather the wheat into the barns. Right now we are seeing a separation. The streets are filled with hate, riots, looting and killing. It is like the chaff is being separated out. The way they separate out the chaff is to take a big shovel full of the wheat and throw it in the air. The wind blows the chaff away. Right now the media, Youtube, and social media are acting like the wind. You see the chaff being driven by the wind into protests full of fire. Meanwhile the wheat is also being separated out. This is where the sound of praise is. People crying out peace in heaven and glory in the highest. You can also see this on Youtube, on social media, and on church broadcasts.

41 And when he drew nigh, he saw the city and wept over it, 42 saying, If thou hadst known in this day, even thou, the things which belong unto peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. 43 For the days shall come upon thee, when thine enemies shall cast up a bank about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, 44 and shall dash thee to the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

“The city” refers to Jerusalem. Jesus is drawing nigh to Jerusalem. This peace treaty that is about to be signed by the many is a very powerful indication that Jesus is drawing nigh to the city.

45 And he entered into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold, 46 saying unto them, It is written, And my house shall be a house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of robbers.

There will be many in the “church” that will be rebuked. They have turned the Lord’s house into a den of robbers. Probably the clearest example is that of the pedophile priests in the Catholic church. About 6% of all priests were pedophiles. Instead of dealing strictly with them the Catholic leadership moved them around, trying to sweep this under the rug. They convinced victims to settle for a pittance plus an apology from the Bishop. Everything was done outside of the courts, sealed away from public scrutiny. Why did they do this? Well it appears that about 50% of priests were involved in sexual relationships, mostly with other consenting adults. Since they were supposed to have a vow of chastity it would be embarrassing to them if this were revealed and they would have been defrocked. No one ratted anyone out because they were all afraid of being exposed. This is how it becomes a den of robbers, everyone has something to hide.

47 And he was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the principal men of the people sought to destroy him: 48 and they could not find what they might do; for the people all hung upon him, listening.

You can be sure that if you share these things that there are those in the shadows that are seeking to destroy you. Jesus going up to Jerusalem has “become personal”. The chief priests and scribes want to destroy Him and He is going to destroy them and put them to an open shame.

Joshua 2 -- Time to cut a deal

1 And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.

This book gives us the battle plan. The first place we come to is a cursed city, a walled city, and when we spy this out we come to a harlot’s house. A harlot is a person who is for sale. Right now it has become abundantly clear that many of our politicians are for sale. The Hunter Biden laptop is merely the tip of this iceberg. The difficulty we are seeing in having our elected officials deal with the obvious cases of voter fraud is further evidence that they have sold themselves.

2 And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country. 3 And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.

Yes, right now we are searching out the entire country for their corruption and sin.

4 And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were: 5 And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them. 6 But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof.

I went to five of these protests concerning this election and you can see a lot of the focus is on the elected officials. There are calls to “primary them” or to vote them out of office, or to prosecute them. What we need to realize is that some of these officials, these “harlots” are courageous. They are doing the right thing but they are not fools.

7 And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate. 8 And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof; 9 And she said unto the men, I know that the Lord hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.

It is so obvious that they are terrified and faint. Their ratings are plummeting but they are silent because they don’t know what to do about it. They have tried to steer people away from these stories with their algorithms or to censor the stories and that has only blown up in their face. It has caused a stampede to sites like Rumble. They can’t control the story, they can’t censor it, they can’t deny it, and they can’t ignore it with thousands of emails and phone calls every day to the representatives and with the protestors on the street.

10 For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.

This country has had a history of conquering tyrannical rulers. We defeated King George in the Revolutionary war when the British were the superpower of the day and we defeated Germany and Japan during WWII. This is a constant refrain from the protestors, some are calling this 1775, others are pointing to their military service to uphold democracy.

11 And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

The protestors are people of faith. They sing hymns, they pray prayers, they quote scripture.

12 Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the Lord, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token: 13 And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.

A week ago Giuliani said he had 234 affidavits. A week later he said he had over 1,000 affidavits. People are cutting deals, they are lawyering up and exchanging immunity for their testimony. Last I heard he has over 5,000 affidavits.

14 And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the Lord hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee. 15 Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall. 16 And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.

These things take time, and we are seeing that those who do testify have to hide their identity because they receive a whole host of threats against themselves and their family and because the media will viciously attack and defame anyone who does come forward.

17 And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear. 18 Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee. 19 And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.

No double crossing or back stabbing.

20 And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear. 21 And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.

This is the problem that these crooks and thieves have. Yes, these government officials are “harlots” but some of them are also people with a conscience and they can see how this war is going to go. How do you win, you are trapped in your little city. Do you think if the whole world knows that Biden stole the election but the electoral college is chosen anyway that the protestors will stop? This is now April and they haven't stopped.

22 And they went, and came unto the mountain, and abode there three days, until the pursuers were returned: and the pursuers sought them throughout all the way, but found them not. 23 So the two men returned, and descended from the mountain, and passed over, and came to Joshua the son of Nun, and told him all things that befell them: 24 And they said unto Joshua, Truly the Lord hath delivered into our hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us.

Every single day the story gets bigger, the evidence grows, the hearings are public, and everyone accused of criminal behavior has fainted. Where are they? Why haven’t they denied the charges? Why are they not refuting the allegations of fraud and misconduct?

Daniel 5:1-6 -- The writing on the wall

1 King Belshazzar gave a great banquet for a thousand of his nobles and drank wine with them.2 While Belshazzar was drinking his wine, he gave orders to bring in the gold and silver goblets that Nebuchadnezzar his father had taken from the temple in Jerusalem, so that the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines might drink from them.3 So they brought in the gold goblets that had been taken from the temple of God in Jerusalem, and the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines drank from them. 4 As they drank the wine, they praised the gods of gold and silver, of bronze, iron, wood and stone.

This is an act of blasphemy against God. However, I doubt this is the only act of blasphemy, rather I suspect this was the final straw. Everyone is quite animated with this election year, the things that President Trump has done has motivated everyone. People feel vehemently one way or the other concerning him. He has said some very offensive things. For example he recently claimed that mail in ballots would not be secure and would be subject to fraud. Wow, what a reaction that brought. Fraud is incredibly rare. Now they are very specific when they say that. What is incredibly rare is a person trying to vote twice. But election fraud in this country, rare? That is an insult to our intelligence. In 1948 we had the box 13 scandal where Lyndon Johnson stole that election. JFK won his election over Nixon because he won Illinois, and Texas. Both of these were razor thin margins and the feeling is that dirty tricks by Daley and LBJ’s apparatus made the difference. Then of course JFK was assassinated and the American people were force fed the “Oswald is a lone gunman” even though it was laughable. During the Watergate investigation with Nixon one of his operatives outlined all the dirty tricks that he used but seemed to feel that what he was doing wasn’t all that bad as “everyone does this”. Reagan beat Carter in his first term because of the oil embargo. It was the 70s and it seemed the world was running out of oil. What happened to that? The whole thing was a lie. Kissinger working with OPEC had different refineries shut down to make it appear there was a shortage of oil. They were willing to shoot the US economy in the foot to undermine Carter. In 2000 we had the debacle in Florida with Bush and Gore. It is very important that US elections appear fair and free but anyone who has been paying attention knows they aren’t. They know in key swing states there are ridiculously long lines at inner city polling stations. In other countries election day is a vacation, not in the US. So this is how they lie to you. In a tight election it will all hinge on one or two states. You don’t need to have fraud in 48 states, so right away if you say that 96% of the elections are free and fair that is true, even if there is fraud in every single election. Then even in a state like Florida you don’t need to do anything about 96% of the vote. If the election is tight less than 1% will swing it one way or the other. The Box 13 scandal involved 200 votes, that is all it took. So I can tell you that 99.9% of votes are not fraudulent, so what, it is that 0.1% that swings the vote. So the point is not to debate each and every election as to whether or not there was fraud, the point is that election fraud can be exceedingly rare and at the same time extremely common. It can be rare that any one vote is fraudulent but at the same time very common that election fraud takes place, even “everybody does it”. So a month ago the Democrats were telling everybody that you don’t need to worry, election fraud is very rare, and then a month later they are screaming that this election will be stolen by fraud. Which is it? If you tell me you are worried about election fraud this election I fully agree with you. But shouldn’t the Democrats apologize for saying not to worry? In my opinion the election fraud we have seen over the last 72 years is like seeing little termites run around. This year it will be like falling through the floor and discovering your whole house has been eaten up by termites.

5 Suddenly the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall, near the lampstand in the royal palace. The king watched the hand as it wrote. 6 His face turned pale and he was so frightened that his legs became weak and his knees were knocking.

This is some scary stuff. Imagine fires so bad that people have to evacuate the state of California. Imagine the smoke is so bad half the country is choking. Imagine a horrific famine that results from the floods, rats, and locusts in China. Imagine a pandemic that continues to grow and spread around the world. Imagine the US economy tanking and the US dollar suffering massive inflation. That is a scary thought. You might say “the writing is on the wall”, but what does it all mean?

Daniel 5:7-23 They have set themselves up against the Lord

7 The king summoned the enchanters, astrologers and diviners. Then he said to these wise men of Babylon, “Whoever reads this writing and tells me what it means will be clothed in purple and have a gold chain placed around his neck, and he will be made the third highest ruler in the kingdom.” 8 Then all the king’s wise men came in, but they could not read the writing or tell the king what it meant. 9 So King Belshazzar became even more terrified and his face grew more pale. His nobles were baffled. 10 The queen, hearing the voices of the king and his nobles, came into the banquet hall. “May the king live forever!” she said. “Don’t be alarmed! Don’t look so pale! 11 There is a man in your kingdom who has the spirit of the holy gods in him. In the time of your father he was found to have insight and intelligence and wisdom like that of the gods. Your father, King Nebuchadnezzar, appointed him chief of the magicians, enchanters, astrologers and diviners. 12 He did this because Daniel, whom the king called Belteshazzar, was found to have a keen mind and knowledge and understanding, and also the ability to interpret dreams, explain riddles and solve difficult problems. Call for Daniel, and he will tell you what the writing means.” 13 So Daniel was brought before the king, and the king said to him, “Are you Daniel, one of the exiles my father the king brought from Judah? 14 I have heard that the spirit of the gods is in you and that you have insight, intelligence and outstanding wisdom. 15 The wise men and enchanters were brought before me to read this writing and tell me what it means, but they could not explain it. 16 Now I have heard that you are able to give interpretations and to solve difficult problems. If you can read this writing and tell me what it means, you will be clothed in purple and have a gold chain placed around your neck, and you will be made the third highest ruler in the kingdom.” 17 Then Daniel answered the king, “You may keep your gifts for yourself and give your rewards to someone else. Nevertheless, I will read the writing for the king and tell him what it means. 18 “Your Majesty, the Most High God gave your father Nebuchadnezzar sovereignty and greatness and glory and splendor. 19 Because of the high position he gave him, all the nations and peoples of every language dreaded and feared him. Those the king wanted to put to death, he put to death; those he wanted to spare, he spared; those he wanted to promote, he promoted; and those he wanted to humble, he humbled. 20 But when his heart became arrogant and hardened with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and stripped of his glory. 21 He was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal; he lived with the wild donkeys and ate grass like the ox; and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he acknowledged that the Most High God is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and sets over them anyone he wishes.

The US used to be a great superpower, they had glory and splendor. All the other nations respected and feared us. But we have become arrogant.

22 “But you, Belshazzar, his son, have not humble yourself, though you knew all this. 23 Instead, you have set yourself up against the Lord of heaven.

This is true. Listen to Ron Reagan do commercials for atheists saying he isn’t afraid of burning in hell. He is probably the only one in California who isn’t. The abortion issue is clearly a case of setting your kingdom up against the Lord of heaven. In China they passed laws that clearly set themselves up against the Lord of heaven. After the pandemic if a church wanted to reopen they needed to hang the picture of the leader of China in the Sanctuary, they needed to sing the national anthem and they changed Bible verses to praise the CCP. In Belarus it is the only dictator left. Protests in Belarus, Hong Kong, Beirut, Portland all point to the fact that they have set themselves up against the Lord of heaven.

You had the goblets from his temple brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand.

Money and the stock market are the gods of silver and gold. War and military might are the gods of bronze and iron. The monuments built by man are the gods of wood and stone.

But you did not honor the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways.

One thing is undeniable, these rulers are not honoring God. I watched an interview with Kamala Harris where they asked her if she smoked pot. She laughed, her father and half her family are from Jamaica, of course she smoked pot. The next day her father is interviewed, a very dignified professor, and he was disgusted with what she said, saying she was perpetrating ugly stereotypes. He totally repudiated any suggestion that what she said was true. Think how incredible this is. Her father publicly rebukes her even though it might hurt her chances of being elected. Think of the hypocrisy, what is the entire Black Lives Matter movement about if it isn’t claiming that Blacks need to be treated with dignity and respect. She claims she is for BLM yet she is pushing insulting stereotypes of blacks as potheads rather than dignified professionals. What about Nancy Pelosi, railing about Trump not wearing a mask, not mandating a shutdown, and then she is seen not wearing a mask in the hair dresser. She violated the law, and in California a state that has the worst case of the pandemic in the US. She then claimed she was tricked and didn’t know the law, this is the third most powerful person in the US and represents the people of San Francisco and she doesn’t know the law? Then she destroyed the hairdresser saying she was set up and caused her to be swamped with threats so that she had to close and move her business. Bill Clinton went to pedophile island that belonged to Epstein, and then when Epstein is in jail he mysteriously dies, not the first mysterious death to help Clinton.

Daniel 5:24 -31 Your Kingdom is given to the Medes and Persians

24 Therefore he sent the hand that wrote the inscription. 25 “This is the inscription that was written: mene, mene, tekel, parsin 26 “Here is what these words mean: Mene: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end. 27 Tekel: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting. 28 Peres: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”

What we see today is quite similar. The US is divided. It is easy to see that the days of the US are numbered. It is also easy to see that the leaders of this country have been weighed in the scales and found wanting. The UN is dominated by two factions, an Islamic faction, and an Asian faction. If the US position of superpower were replaced today by the UN it would be by those two factions.

29 Then at Belshazzar’s command, Daniel was clothed in purple, a gold chain was placed around his neck,and he was proclaimed the third highest ruler in the kingdom. 30 That very night Belshazzar, king of the Babylonians, was slain, 31 and Darius the Mede took over the kingdom, at the age of sixty-two.

There have been prophetic dreams that California fires will be so bad that they have to evacuate the state on 9/11. Know this that evacuating on that day is not a coincidence. It is the writing on the wall. In my opinion 9/11 was the greatest crime committed by these blasphemous leaders in the US. It is ridiculous to claim that Al Qaeda did it. That crime set in motion many others leading us to this point. Our profligate Biden administration has hooked a vacuum cleaner up to the Fed and is vacuuming up dollars at an astounding rate, trillions and trillions of dollars. This “great banquet” is the final straw.

Luke 20:1-8 Some Black belt level stuff

1 One day as Jesus was teaching the people in the temple courts and proclaiming the good news, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, together with the elders, came up to him. 2 “Tell us by what authority you are doing these things,” they said. “Who gave you this authority?”

Great question. If a cop comes up to you they need to show you their badge, that tells you by what authority they are acting as a cop. Teachers also have to be certified. We go through a lot of different tests. We get fingerprinted and there are a number of required professional developments that we must have. We even do the same thing with people who teach the Bible, they go to seminary and get a degree. Apparently the Chief priests had discovered a major weakness in Jesus, He hadn’t been certified to teach the people the Bible.

3 He replied, “I will also ask you a question.

Great response, need to learn this little trick.

Tell me: 4 John’s baptism—was it from heaven, or of human origin?”

Oh snap! The chief priests certification was from man. The thing that made them so proud,

walking around in flowing robes, being greeted with respect in the marketplaces and having the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets.

That certification came from man. But when Jesus was baptized

John 1:32 And John bore witness, saying, I beheld the Spirit descending as a dove from heaven, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not; but he who sent me to baptise with water, *he* said to me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending and abiding on him, he it is who baptises with [the] Holy Spirit 34 And I have seen and borne witness that this is the Son of God.

Jesus’ certification to preach took place at that Baptism. Was it from heaven or from man?

Luke 3:21 And it came to pass, all the people having been baptised, and Jesus having been baptised and praying, that the heaven was opened, 22 and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form as a dove upon him; and a voice came out of heaven, *Thou* art my beloved Son, in thee I have found my delight.

It is a great question, you should ask this of everyone that wants to represent God. If someone wants to tell you that they are speaking the words of God to you, then by all means find out by what authority they are making this claim.

5 They discussed it among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask, ‘Why didn’t you believe him?’ 6 But if we say, ‘Of human origin,’ all the people will stone us, because they are persuaded that John was a prophet.” 7 So they answered, “We don’t know where it was from.”

How slimy. This is the perfect illustration of the difference between someone who is really seeking and someone who absolutely refuses to hear God’s word. They weren’t asking the question because they wanted to learn something. This is what is known as a “gotcha question”. It probably works on many people, but when you do this to Jesus you are the one that is exposed. If you speak the word of God from the Bible they will do the same thing. They are afraid to deny that the Bible is the word of God because the people are all persuaded that it is, but they refuse to obey the Bible so instead they claim ignorance.

8 Jesus said, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.”

This is some Black belt level stuff right here. Learn from Jesus. Imitate Him.

Luke 20:9-18 Reject the Lord at your peril

9 He went on to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard, rented it to some farmers and went away for a long time. 10 At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants so they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed. 11 He sent another servant, but that one also they beat and treated shamefully and sent away empty-handed. 12 He sent still a third, and they wounded him and threw him out. 13 “Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my son, whom I love; perhaps they will respect him.’ 14 “But when the tenants saw him, they talked the matter over. ‘This is the heir,’ they said. ‘Let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’ 15 So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.

Upton Sinclair said it well, he said it is very hard for a man to understand if his job requires that he not understand. Why are these Chief Priests and teachers of the law so obstinate? Why is it that they absolutely refuse to believe that Jesus is Lord? It is because the same law that they have used to condemn everyone else condemns them as well. They have a debt that they can’t pay, so murder and pretending not to hear seems like the best option.

“What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others.”

This is precisely what did happen. They crucified Jesus and God came to Jerusalem with the armies of the Romans in 70AD and destroyed the temple. They then gave Israel to others and until 1948 that vineyard was given to others. Even to this day Jerusalem has not formerly been given back to Israel. A few countries like the US, the UAE, Bahrain and a few others recognize that, but we are still waiting to see the UN ratify this.

When the people heard this, they said, “God forbid!”

Wow, I just love the Bible. To me this second portion is much harder to understand than the first portion. In the first portion John had already baptized Jesus, all of that happened in just the last few years. But this portion is a prophecy of what has not yet happened. Jesus hasn’t been crucified yet, the Roman General Titus hadn’t come yet. But they knew exactly what He was talking about the second time and yet had so much difficulty understanding what He was saying in the first portion. This is why being envious and rebellious of Jesus and wanting to be Lord yourself is the unpardonable sin. Once you take that road you have no way to hear, to understand, or to receive the Lord’s redemption.

17 Jesus looked directly at them and asked, “Then what is the meaning of that which is written: “‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’? 18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.”

The cornerstone is the most important stone for setting the foundation. It sets the lines for the walls. All the other stones are following the lines set by the cornerstone. This chapter is a great illustration that Jesus is the cornerstone, we are all following the lines He set. For a builder to reject a stone that then becomes the cornerstone indicates that this builder is completely incompetent. When they crucified Him they fell on Him. As a result they were broken in pieces. When God sent Titus to Jerusalem to destroy it He fell on others and crushed them. Reject Jesus at your peril. Ignore Jesus at your peril. You have been warned, not just with this word but also with the example of Israel.

Luke 20:19-47 Those who misaim and those who have missed the mark

19 The teachers of the law and the chief priests looked for a way to arrest him immediately, because they knew he had spoken this parable against them. But they were afraid of the people. 20 Keeping a close watch on him, they sent spies, who pretended to be sincere. They hoped to catch Jesus in something he said, so that they might hand him over to the power and authority of the governor.

We are not ignorant of Satan’s devices, that is of course if you read the Bible and the fellowship of the apostles.

21 So the spies questioned him: “Teacher, we know that you speak and teach what is right, and that you do not show partiality but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth.

Beware of those that lay it on thick like this.

22 Is it right for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”

This is a “wedge issue”. A question designed to divide. Think about today with the Black Lives Movement. There are those that are crying to defund the police, there are others that think that would be catastrophic. All of this attack about "white supremacy" is a wedge issue. The country is basically 50% white and 50% non white so there is big effort to "divide and conquer". Charles Barkley was brutally honest the other day saying he thinks this is politicians trying to divide us so that they can stay in power.

23 He saw through their duplicity and said to them, 24 “Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?” “Caesar’s,” they replied. 25 He said to them, “Then give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

Man has been made in the image of God. We should have God’s laws inscribed on our heart. This is what the Lord will be looking for when He returns. Everyone in the whole debate to defund or not defund has missed the boat. There has not been a righteous, just and trustworthy government for the last two thousand years. Both sides of this debate are condemned. If you see the injustice of our government that is great, that should turn you to realize we need the Lord Jesus to return and set up His kingdom. Everything we have tried to do has failed.

26 They were unable to trap him in what he had said there in public. And astonished by his answer, they became silent.

Once again, learn from Jesus. He isn’t crying about the “lame stream media” or their “gotcha questions”. Their gotcha questions prove that He is ready to rule. If you don’t have authority over the “lame stream media” how can we trust you to have real authority?

27 Some of the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Jesus with a question. 28 “Teacher,” they said, “Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man must marry the widow and raise up offspring for his brother. 29 Now there were seven brothers. The first one married a woman and died childless. 30 The second 31 and then the third married her, and in the same way the seven died, leaving no children. 32 Finally, the woman died too. 33 Now then, at the resurrection whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her?” 34 Jesus replied, “The people of this age marry and are given in marriage. 35 But those who are considered worthy of taking part in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, 36 and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God’s children, since they are children of the resurrection. 37 But in the account of the burning bush, even Moses showed that the dead rise, for he calls the Lord ‘the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ 38 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.”

If you don’t believe in the resurrection of the dead then you don’t have any authority to teach the law of Moses. You can’t claim that these laws were given by God and that you are sitting in Moses seat. By what authority did Moses do these things? He was sent by God at the burning bush. If you deny the resurrection of the dead you are denying the authority of Moses and therefore the authority you have from sitting in Moses' seat. Likewise with the rapture, we have a sect of Christians who deny that truth. We have a sect of Christians like the Herodians who have completely sold out to the Romans to be their puppets.

39 Some of the teachers of the law responded, “Well said, teacher!” 40 And no one dared to ask him any more questions. 41 Then Jesus said to them, “Why is it said that the Messiah is the son of David? 42 David himself declares in the Book of Psalms: “‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand 43 until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’ 44 David calls him ‘Lord.’ How then can he be his son?”

Jesus has already silenced the gotcha questions of the lame stream media, this isn’t for them, it is for the teachers who say “well said”. Many people are willing to admit that Jesus was a great teacher, a great prophet, who has had a profound impact on human society. But do you see He isn’t simply a great man, He is the Son of God?

45 While all the people were listening, Jesus said to his disciples, 46 “Beware of the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets.47 They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most severely.”

Jesus has already demolished the authority by which they speak. But what really exposes them is that they devour widows’ houses. You could never rally the entire country to go fight in Vietnam or Iraq without the chief priests and teachers of the law standing with these rulers. You couldn’t get away with the mortgage crisis and saying the banks are too big to fail without the assistance of the chief priests and teachers of the law. Our rulers have been devouring widow’s houses. It is not unrealistic to think the people don’t understand what happened, but the shepherds are supposed to protect the sheep from the wolves. Are the prayers real or just for show? If you are a pretend shepherd you will be punished severely.

Joshua 3 -- You have not passed this way heretofore

1 And Joshua rose early in the morning; and they removed from Shittim, and came to Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they passed over. 2 And it came to pass after three days, that the officers went through the host; 3 And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it. 4 Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore.

You have not passed through this way before sounds like the rapture to me. Crossing the red sea is clearly a type of the Lord’s death and resurrection and our baptism. We are told this in the New testament. So then the people of the Lord crossing the Jordan would be like that and yet something that Israel had not done before. Jesus' resurrection was the firstfruit of the harvest, at the end of the age the harvest of the saints will also be a resurrection. According to Jewish tradition they entered a new dimension of personal responsibility. When you are a slave you are told “not to worry” about certain things and you will be punished if you actually question or second guess the master. We see this change today in the US, people are not willing to blindly follow what the mainstream media declares and the more they declare the official narrative the less people listen to them. Also, people are waking up and are not afraid to question them.

5 And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the Lord will do wonders among you. 6 And Joshua spake unto the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people. 7 And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.

For 2,000 years the Christians have not been led by the ark of covenant to get involved in the political arena. Individuals like Esther and Mordecai have, and like Paul we have appealed to Caesar based on the laws of the land. But our covenant until this point has not been of this world and we have not been called to fight on behalf of it. Instead the church has acted as an embassy of the kingdom of heavens in the worldly realm.

8 And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan. 9 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come hither, and hear the words of the Lord your God. 10 And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites. 11 Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth passeth over before you into Jordan. 12 Now therefore take you twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, out of every tribe a man.

Right now we are presenting compelling evidence, overwhelming evidence, undeniable evidence and they simply ignore it. Governors and officials are certifying votes despite extensive evidence of election fraud. They are treating the people like they can ignore them. This is a violation of the constitution, a violation of their authority given by God, and so you will now see something never before seen. The Lord Himself, from the heavens will send His army in to dispossess these people. The first barrier they cross is the river Jordan, it separates God’s people from these tribes. In the US there is a line of separation between the church and the state. Our covenant with the Lord has led us to stay in the wilderness for this age of grace. But now, at the end of the age, the priests bearing the ark of the covenant are led to step into this river separating us from the State.

13 And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap. 14 And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people; 15 And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,) 16 That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho. 17 And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.

What has happened? The economy is likened to a river. In Egypt the Nile river represented the economy. Here the Jordan river represents the economy and it stood up in heap. This has never happened before. True. there have been pandemics before in human history, but to have the entire world’s economy just stand up in a heap as we, the people of God, cross this river on dry ground, that has never happened before. Prior to this the Christians in this country were like people in the desert, they really didn’t have anything to do with the running of the country. Of course we have had men of faith in all parts of government, but to see Christians organized, united as an army, marching in, this is something completely new in US history. Every Christian in this country is passing over. A funny term, in Egypt it was God who passed over our homes, standing guard to make sure the avenger didn’t break in. But now it is us who are passing over this river to stop the steal of the good land which is our inheritance.

Luke 21:1-11 -- Using the Pandemic for a power grab

1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. 2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. 3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: 4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

Our life can be a living sacrifice that is acceptable to the Lord. So many are very concerned about how that is going to be judged. Here the Lord makes it clear He doesn’t look at your gift in terms of how many dollars it is worth, but rather how much of your living it is worth. The rich man that gave out of his abundance didn’t give any of his living, whereas the poor woman who gave out of her poverty gave all of her living. That is how we will be judged. You can’t fake that.

5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, 6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Imagine a rich person gave money for a wing of a hospital to be built with his name on it. He may feel how great this building and its gifts are, and yet with wars and riots and natural disasters it could be that not one stone is left upon another. So there you are appearing before the Lord at His judgement seat and your life’s work has gone up in smoke. So the Lord is not judging the money but the living that was sacrificed. He also isn’t looking at the buildings you built but the people who were built up by you. Those people will also be standing at the judgement seat of Christ.

7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? 8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. 9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

So how are we going to “not be deceived”? First of all you need to realize there is a purpose for the wars and commotions. They need to come to pass. Jesus said that the meek will inherit the earth, but how do we know that is true? Therefore Caesar Nero tested this, Napoleon tested this, Hitler tested this. It is necessary for these wars to take place because it is the test that proves God’s word is true. What about the commotions? You can read Gandhi and see what Bible verses he based his protests on and his non violent resistance. But not everyone is persuaded, so you need to have the commotions of the Black Panthers and ANTIFA and the looters and rioters to prove that all the treasures of wisdom are hidden in God’s word. In Daniel we see that the three guys with Daniel refused to worship the Golden idol, but by throwing them into the furnace of fire Nebuchadnezzar was able to see and be converted. Likewise Darius threw Daniel into the lion's den because he prayed to God. Delivering Daniel from the Lion's den is how Darius was able to believe.

But this is a sign of the Lord's coming, it is the apostasy. The falling away is also the setting yourself up as something. Recently Senator Warnock said that we could save ourselves and that the meaning of Easter is more transcendent than Jesus Christ. Easter is a pagan holiday, you would think a pastor would refer to resurrection day or the crucifixion, rather than "Easter". His tweet sounded good, a commitment to helping others we can save ourselves, but it denies the Lord who bought us. It is by definition a false prophet. According to the book of Revelation this would be the White Horse of the Apocalypse. The apostasy is a false gospel, and as Paul said it isn't even a gospel. Imagine telling someone who is drowning that he can save himself. This is a way to justify yourself while others drown, it is their own fault.

10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

We have had many different people all with their theory on how to raise a great empire. They have all come and gone. Alexander the Great, the Egyptian Pharaohs, the Roman Empire, this is necessary to test their wisdom and knowledge against God’s word. It is amazing how often an apostasy, some false doctrine, accompanies major wars in history. Rulers have to manipulate people into going to war with these false doctrines. World War II, The Vietnam War and the Gulf Wars were all started with false flag operations designed to manipulate the people to go to war. Right now the mainstream media in the US is acting as the "apostasy" to lead people astray into a race war. When corrupt rulers are exposed they do this to distract the populace. Better to have them fighting against each other than to be united in fighting against the leaders. They are particularly focused on any force that can unify and organize against their corrupt regime, hence the attack on the church. This is the Red horse of the apocalypse.

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

The earthquakes reveal the inner workings of the earth. The famines have really helped us to understand how to best cultivate the land. The pestilences have taught us a lot about healthy practices and the need for sanitation. Before we can rule and reign on this earth we need to learn from all these things, they are all necessary, they all need to come to pass before we can be fully prepared to meet the Lord. Famines and pestilences refer to the Black Horse and the Grey horse of the apocalypse. Famine and pestilence often follow war. When all the men are sent to war it causes a loss in manpower for the production of food. The destruction and poverty associated with war often result in unsanitary conditions and pestilence. However, pestilence can be used as an act of War. Genghis Khan tossed infected bodies over the walls of cities in Europe as a weapon of war. There is sufficient evidence to argue that this pandemic was an act of war. It doesn't make sense, why would rulers who desire power want to hurt the people who are taxpayers? I was reminded of the story of how the Kimberley mine would "hobble" the slaves who tried to steal diamonds. They break the legs of these people. Once they are healed they can continue to work in the mines but are unable to run away. This pandemic has been designed in a bio weapons lab from the common cold. It is very possible that this cold virus is taken from a virus that school children have already been exposed to. This could explain why children and teachers have been virtually untouched by this pandemic. However, the elderly may never have seen it so they have died at the highest rate. The slave owners don't care about the elderly, they are an expense, not a source of revenue. Also online sales have skyrocketed during the pandemic, so the big tech companies have not been harmed, if anything they have profited. On the other hand small businesses owned and operated by the middle class have been hit very hard with tens of thousands of bankruptcies already and many more projected. So then a company like Amazon is benefitting in two ways, increased sales and decreased competition. Tax revenue may drop a little, but the costs of caring for the elderly will also drop significantly. This could explain the irrational demand to shut down all businesses and schools. The pandemic was designed to give the world's government more power and so the response is about this power grab.

There have also been great signs from heaven, particularly the great sign in Revelation 12 of the woman giving birth to the man child.

Luke 21:12-24 See the end from the beginning

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. 13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

This is a very big but, one minute He is giving us a sweeping view of the 2,000 year history and now He is telling the apostles that before the nations are tested, before the kings are tested, before the scientists and farmers and health care workers are tested that they need to be tested. We need proof that this word can stand the test first. There needs to be a testimony that the fellowship of the apostles is a trustworthy word that can withstand the gates of hell. This is the foundation word of this entire age. What did we see in Daniel? Daniel and his three associates were tested by fire and by lions. As a result of this test it was declared that their God was the real God and everyone needed to hear their word.

The Lord is telling the apostles that He appreciates their interest in how this will all end but before any of that happens they are going to be tested.

14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

All of us have been given this word, not simply Peter and Paul. The story of Saint Stephen is a fulfillment of this word. The word that the Lord gave them they have given to us. I see these people who have lost everything in these fires in California. I just wish I would see one of them holding a Bible saying “I still have this, I’ll be fine”.

16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. 17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. 18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish. 19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

Twice He says “for my name’s sake”. This is how you can settle your mind. The suffering you are going through is for “His name’s sake”. The way you respond will be a testimony, it could be a glory to the Lord or it could be a shame. Really, be prepared so you aren’t shocked, and glorify the Lord. Now we can understand why He chose Judas. The Lord has given us an example of how to go through this, we will be betrayed so He needed to be betrayed to give us the pattern on how to go through this.

20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

This is a direct reference to 70 AD and the army of Titus. This is how it works. Those who are in power must hear the testimony of the apostles. They despise it, hate it, persecute it, and even put them to death. But the testimony has been made and it will stand for 2,000 years. Meanwhile those leaders will then be utterly and completely destroyed and disappear like dust being blown by the wind. Those are “days of vengeance”. Not yours, not ANTIFA’s, but God’s. A solid testimony of the Lord lays the groundwork for Him to then come in and take vengeance because they wouldn’t listen to His word. Not only so but the Lord tells us "the end from the beginning". Look at how the age began and you will see how it will end.

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Once again, a sweeping view of the last 2,000 year history for the Jews. They were led away captive to all nations, it is called the diaspora. Jerusalem was trodden down of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles were fulfilled. It wasn’t until 1948, after the holocaust, that the Jews were able to return. Definitely “great distress” in the land. But even in 1948 Jerusalem was not returned to the Jews. It has only been in the last two years that the US and a few other countries have recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Luke 21:25-38 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars;

I don’t understand why Christians who claim to believe that every word of the Bible is the inspired word of God ignore this. There have been amazing signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars over the last few years. We have had a number of lunar eclipses taking place on holy days of Israel and solar eclipses taking place at key times as well. The signs in the stars like the great sign from Revelation 12 have also been seen.

and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

At best we are just starting to get a glimpse of this. Every time they use the terms “apocalyptic” to refer to a fire, or flood, or some other disaster it means we are starting to get a glimpse. If the powers of heaven are going to be shaken it should not come as a surprise that the powers of the earth would also be shaken. We are told in Daniel that each nation has spiritual forces associated with it. It should be no great surprise then that the powers of the US would be shaken. Don’t be surprised if you see great protests in the street like we see in Hong Kong, oh wait, sorry, already seen that. Well, don’t be surprised if you see great cyber attacks on the US and Washington DC becoming an armed encampment of the military like the Green zone in Iraq. Oh, wait, sorry, already seen that as well.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Seriously, seeing the powers of the US government shaken could be the key event that immediately precedes our seeing the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory?

Who is the “they”? It refers to all those who didn’t see or refused to see Jesus, His power and glory, during this age. Right now there is a privilege to see and believe in Jesus, but then everyone will see. Today you can embrace Jesus, then you will be terrified.

28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

When these things begin to happen must surely refer to Jerusalem returning to the Jews. But in reality for the entire 2,000 years you could see something. You could see the testimony of the apostles, or the fulfillment of Titus' army destroying the Temple, or any kingdom being overthrown, a famine due to mismanagement, a plague due to uncleanness. Everything is one more step towards us being mature and ready to reign with Jesus. The rapture is referred to as "the day of redemption". Here the Lord's reference to "your redemption draweth nigh" refers to the rapture. On the one hand we don't know the day or the hour, but on the other hand we do know the signs and when see these things happening we know the day of redemption draws nigh.

29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Israel is depicted as a fig tree. It sprouted in the good land again in 1948. In 2019 it began to shoot forth with peace plans to recognize Jerusalem. That is a sign that summer is nigh. That is a sign that Jesus is about to send forth His angels to reap His harvest.

32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. 33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Is there anyone in history who has been able to declare that “heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away”. Once again, if we get a revelation of this we would realize what a treasure the Bible is.

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

The Lord realizes how valuable His word is, but if you don’t, well that will be a great insult to Him. If you are caught up in trivial garbage that is on TV, or Youtube and are distracted from the word, then the day will come upon you unaware. You will be snared like an animal in a trap. You will not greet that day like a child of the king, but rather like an animal in a trap. The Bible is crystal clear, it is a shame for any believer if "that day", the "day of redemption", the rapture, comes upon them unawares.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Not all believers will be “worthy to escape all these things”. Obviously He isn’t talking about the persecution that the early church went through or that the apostle’s suffered. He is talking about us, at the end of the age, being raptured prior to the Great Tribulation. Not all believers will be counted worthy to be raptured prior to the Great Tribulation. Some will be left behind like trapped animals. But imagine being counted worthy to stand before the Son of man, to be one of those raptured to the heavens to kick Satan out and to then return with the Lord in the clouds as His army when He comes in great power and glory.

37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives. 38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

This was at the foot of the temple mount. We can see we are coming closer and closer to the end of the age of the Gentiles.

Luke 22:1-12 -- The fifth seal, the passover and the upper room all refer to the rapture

1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

The feast of unleavened bread is the feast at the beginning of the year, and in this case it signified the beginning of the age of grace. This age of grace began with the Passover, Jesus Christ being sacrificed for our salvation on the cross. The root word for Passover can mean to "stand or guard". In Egypt God stood over the houses with the blood on the door to protect them from the avenger, the angel of death. This time we see that Jesus is standing guard over us at the Passover to protect us from sin and death. Once again we can see the end from the beginning. The goal of the Lord's sacrifice on the cross was to gain a people that matched him, just like Adam was put to sleep and a rib was taken out of him and from that God built a woman. in the same way Jesus was put to sleep, out of His side came blood and water, and from that God has built the church, the bride of Christ.

2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.

This is how the age began, the chief priests, scribes and rulers seeking to kill all those who expose their corruption and sins. They did this to the apostles. The blood of the martyrs has been shed throughout this age. This is what the 5th seal in the book of revelation refers to.

Revelation 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

This is what the protests are about. People all over the world are crying with a loud voice “how long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?” What do you think the BLM protests referring to slavery and lynchings are saying? No one has been judged, how long do they need to wait for their blood to be avenged on those who dwell on the earth? However, this is a direct reference to seeing the souls who have already been killed over the last two thousand years. We will see them at the rapture, the graves will be opened, and at that time they will be given white robes and at that time it will only be seven more years till the judgement on the Earth.

3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. 4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. 5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. 6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

There are two people used to exemplify the “false prophet”; Balaam and Judas. In both cases they will betray the Lord for money. Do not be deceived, neither was a “phony prophet” that is not what is meant by false. They both genuinely knew the Lord and His word. They were prophets, but they were false in that they were not trustworthy, they would sell out the Lord for money. Right now everyone talks about “fake news”. Fake news is simply a false prophet. They will spin the news any way you want in exchange for money. This age began with the chief priests and scribes choosing a false prophet over those that would speak the truth. They chose to crucify the Lord and martyr the apostles rather than hear the truth.

At the end of the age you reap what you sow. They are “merchants of doubt” when it comes to cigarettes causing cancer. So how many were killed due to their lies even though they knew their product was a drug hooked you and killed you. The NFL did the same thing, knowing that their product caused terrible brain damage. They lied about it and slandered anyone who tried to tell the truth. The oil companies did the same thing with climate change. So now we have record breaking floods and fires and hurricanes and droughts and locusts and pandemics. This is what you reap when you choose the false prophet over the Lord.

7 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.

Unleavened bread is bread that these spin doctors have not had a chance to adulterate. Things are happening very fast right now, too fast for them to do a good job of leavening. Recently a video came out of Biden talking to reporters which was clearly CGI as his hand went through the microphone. Just the other day Sixty Minutes released a video attacking Governor Desantis yet it was immediately revealed to be a hack smear job as it had been edited and the full video was released. Also an attempt to slander Matt Gaetz was ruined because of a sting operation which caused them to pull the plug before they had a chance to set him up. In every case the "bread wasn't leavened" because they ran out of time. This is what the feast of unleavened bread is all about. This is the time that the Passover must be killed, but this time it isn't the first passover, it is the second.

8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. 9 And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare? 10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. 11 And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guest chamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? 12 And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

I had an experience just like this. (First I have to give you a little background. I met with the Local Church which was led by Witness Lee, a coworker of Watchman Nee. His son, Phillip Lee was the President of the Living Stream Ministry which published Witness Lee’s messages. I was a full time worker for Living Stream Ministry helping them build a conference center in Irving, Texas. I worked on the stone crew. Phillip came to inspect the building and twelve of the workers went out with him to eat dinner, this was the first time I met him. We all sat in a big circle while he ate this very expensive lobster dinner. There was no fellowship, it seemed totally pointless to me that we had even been dragged out there. But then I realized he needed us so he could expense his dinner. His meal would have been seen as a terrible extravagance, but by saying that it was fellowship with 12 brothers it would make the $100 cost seem quite reasonable. That was when I realized this man was a lascivious and fleshly man. What I didn’t know at the time but later learned was that he had sexually assaulted several sisters who served in the ministry. This caused a tremendous uproar in the church. Many saints left because of this. I learned of it shortly before leaving and was outspoken and public in my condemnation, speaking directly to those who had been sent from Phillip to NY. They couldn’t touch me as long as Witness Lee was alive, but the Lord told me to leave. A week later I heard that Witness Lee died.) So I walked out of Dunton House early on the Lord’s day, it was a fellowship house for the church where we met and housed all the visitors to the church. I lived there. I knew I had to go somewhere but didn’t know where. So at every intersection I would pray which way to go. I walked like this for over 2 miles. Then I suddenly felt to make a left turn, cross the major road and go down this small street. As I walked down it a man came out of an apartment building carrying a bible, so I did a 180 and followed him as he walked up this hill to this meeting hall which was basically one large room at the top of the hill. It was furnished with those who praised and worshipped the Lord. So from that day in 1998 I felt I was there preparing for the Lord’s return.

This story is full of very figurative language. A man with a pitcher of Water is one of the signs of the Zodiak, Aquarius, which is always immediately before the feast of Passover. The Bible refers to these signs as "the mazzaroth" and they tell the story of the gospel. This particular sign signifies Jesus with the fountain of living water that is pouring out and raising up the church. We will see the Lord pouring out His word at the end of this age, and this will lead us to this large upper room. Our rapture is depicted as our being taken to an upper room where we can prepare for the wedding. The Passover feast becomes the Lord's table which prefigures the wedding feast.

Luke 22:13-38 Training is over, this is no longer a drill

13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover. 14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. 15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: 16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: 18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. 19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

This is so powerful. The Lord is coming, we need to get ready, what is the most important thing for us to do? Sit at the Lord’s table and eat with Him, eat His body and blood that was shed for us. Realize that every word from this Bible was given to us through the blood of the Lord and the apostles. Realize that this was given for us. Do it in remembrance of Him, if you are scared, if you are looking at the horror sweating drops of blood, do that in remembrance of Him. This is a new testament, we have a covenant, we have promises, it was enacted with the blood of Jesus. Think of the joy of His return when we once again can feast with him, this time in victory. There is also a prophecy here that the Lord will not eat this anymore with us until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God. Could be a prophecy concerning the rapture.

21 But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.

At the end of the age the false prophets will be revealed and they are going to be those who were at the Lord’s table, they were in the church, just like Phillip Lee. There is a "but" here. At the end of the age the Lord will eat this with us again at the fulfillment, "but" behold, right now we have a traitor in our midst.

22 And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed! 23 And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.

Judas, like Balaam, like Phillip Lee was simply a fleshly man who saw an opportunity to make merchandise of the saints. If you are not out hawking the word of God this is not referring to you.

24 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest. 25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. 26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. 27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.

We need to see this. Our worth is not based on how the world measures our worth, it is based on the Lord Jesus. If He says “well done, faithful servant” then that is high praise. Let's be at the table as one serving when He returns.

28 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

If we have this vision our entire outlook changes. Right now people are protesting because they are being treated unfairly. But see this and all of a sudden you are worried, “I hope I have endured enough temptations, please Lord, make sure I have been with you through all the temptations”.

29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; 30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

We have a wonderful future of fellowship and joy in the presence of the Lord as well as ruling and reigning with Him. You may think, I can’t be the head, all I have ever known is being the tail. That is why some have referred to this as the “upside down” kingdom. The servants rule.

31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. 33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. 34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

This is true of all the apostles. Paul was “less than the least” having consented to the stoning of Stephen and having persecuted the church. James was essentially a cult leader during the early days of the church before he repented. The unofficial leader of the “concision” that Paul talked about in Galatians. Your ministry comes from your faith failing not when Satan tries to sift you. Peter denied the Lord here, but later when told to go to Cornelius house He didn’t deny the Lord. He had the keys and opened the kingdom to both Jews and Gentiles. Paul saw the Body of Christ and brought that vision to the church. James saw how to stand up to and respond to cult leaders.

35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. 36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. 37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

In this age there is the kingdom of the heavens and there is the Satanic worldly system. These two cannot coexist. If you are truly of the kingdom of the heavens you must be reckoned as a transgressor with those in the Satanic worldly system. During the Lord's ministry we were trained, but from the time of His crucifixion the training was over and it was no longer a drill.

38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

I love this word. Recently I watched this documentary on the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan. At the last play of their fifth championship they are sitting on the bench. Jordan knows he will be double teamed and he puts a cup of gatorade in front of his mouth so you can’t read his lips while he tells Steve Kerr to be ready for a pass. He knows that if they double him Steve will be open. So Steve is screaming back “OK, I’ll be ready!” It reminds me of this verse. You have the Lord who is completely aware of the devices of the evil one and you have the disciples who are completely naive.

Joshua 4:1-9 -- God's grasshoppers

1 When the whole nation had finished crossing the Jordan, the Lord said to Joshua, 2 “Choose twelve men from among the people, one from each tribe, 3 and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from right where the priests are standing, and carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.” 4 So Joshua called together the twelve men he had appointed from the Israelites, one from each tribe, 5 and said to them, “Go over before the ark of the Lord your God into the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the Israelites, 6 to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ 7 tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.” 8 So the Israelites did as Joshua commanded them. They took twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, according to the number of the tribes of the Israelites, as the Lord had told Joshua;and they carried them over with them to their camp, where they put them down. 9 Joshua set up the twelve stones that had been in the middle of the Jordan at the spot where the priests who carried the ark of the covenant had stood. And they are there to this day.

This memorial is composed of twelve stones on one side of the Jordan representing the 12 tribes of Israel and their crossing of the Jordan. At the beginning of the age of grace we were saved from this evil age and were brought out into the wilderness. However, we still had the slave mentality and lacked faith in the Lord. All those who were in Egypt died in the wilderness due to a lack of faith, except for Joshua and Caleb. These who crossed over were all those who had grown up and spent their whole lives worshipping the Lord in the wilderness. For their entire lives they had the freedom to worship God as He commanded them in the wilderness. They were never slaves. But now they are entering a new territory. This territory, this land, has been usurped by seven tribes that are already there. But Israel has been formed into an army of these twelve tribes. So we need to look a little closer at these twelve tribes because after 40 years they had become stones, this is the memorial. They also experienced becoming river crossers, Hebrews. We see the end from the beginning. The Egyptian army chased Israel into the Red sea and out of the Jordan river we see the Israel army emerge. The Lord rained plagues on Egypt to force Pharaoh to let them go, they were frogs, or flies or lice. Now the Israel army that will be that plague, they will be God’s grasshoppers.

Genesis 49 & the Memorial in Joshua 4 -- Transformed from slavery to a new nation

Genesis 49:1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. 2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father. 3 Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: 4 Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.

Our political leaders are those who “were first”, they are generally taller, and in one way or another have “excellency of power” in the beginning. But they are unstable as water, slippery, easily corrupted. The founding fathers knew this and created a system of checks and balances to try and compensate for this failing.

5 Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations. 6 O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their self will they digged down a wall. 7 Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.

After the kings and rulers we have had Generals and military leaders (Simeon) and also bureaucrats (Levi). They are both instruments of the government. They are famous for their secrets, the CIA, NSA, Secret Service, and all sorts of “classified documents”.

8 Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee. 9 Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? 10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. 11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: 12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.

In the US the true power rests with the law, with the constitution. Judah represents your lawyers, judges and the legal system.

13 Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon.

This is where finance and insurance industries were born and live. There is a reason why Wall Street and the Insurance industry is centered in port cities like NY and London.

14 Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens: 15 And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.

The service industry is a major component of the economy.

16 Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. 17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward. 18 I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord.

The media industry is a judge of the people. Talk shows, late night comics, even news commentators.

19 Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.

This is the manufacturing industry. After a war they move in and rebuild the industry, during the war they are “overcome” with the war effort to build up the armaments.

20 Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.

This is the food industry.

21 Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words.

These are your artists and athletes. Michael Jordan was a “hind let loose”.

22 Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall: 23 The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him: 24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel 25 Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: 26 The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

Joseph signifies your scientists from which we get blessings from all of creation, whether astronomy, or oceanography, biology, genetics, etc. The blessings we get from modern science always exceeds that of our fathers. It is also true that scientists are always sorely grieved whether it is Galileo telling us that the Earth is not the center of the universe, or someone else telling us about climate change. But their bow which are the laws of the universe, they are strong.

27 Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.

Benjamin represent engineers. They are closely related to scientists and if you remember Benjamin got twice the mess from Joseph that the others did. Engineers are the first to profit from scientific discoveries. They are essential in designing our weapons of war for devouring the prey, and they are essential for dividing the spoil (making improvements as they have in the automobile that cause you to continue to divide the spoil, selling more and more).

One last point, Joseph (scientists) got the double portion of the inheritance since he was the firstborn, so Israel blessed his two sons: Manassah and Ephraim. However, Israel made the younger greater than the elder. The scientific revolution began in Greece but it had two sons, one in Germany and then at the time of WWII the German scientists fled to the US and from that time forward the US has been the leader in science. German scientists are like the older brother to American scientists.

What these two memorials show us is God has transformed those rescued from slavery in Egypt into a new nation. We have many members, each has their own positive attributes as well pitfalls to beware. Think about the church, we have all kinds in the church. We have every tribe in the church. During the age of grace we existed in a wilderness. However, at the end of the age we cross the river into a beautiful land where we will bring in the Kingdom of the heavens and be a city on a hill where all the nations will be able to walk in our light.

Joshua 4:10-24 We see the end from the beginning

10 Now the priests who carried the ark remained standing in the middle of the Jordan until everything the Lord had commanded Joshua was done by the people, just as Moses had directed Joshua. The people hurried over, 11 and as soon as all of them had crossed, the ark of the Lord and the priests came to the other side while the people watched. 12 The men of Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh crossed over, ready for battle, in front of the Israelites, as Moses had directed them. 13 About forty thousand armed for battle crossed over before the Lord to the plains of Jericho for war.

We go up to this feast at the end of the age before the Lord. Once we have all crossed over then the ark of the Lord and those carrying His testimony will follow. We are crossing this river ready for battle because we are going to dispossess the nations who are currently ruling this evil age.

14 That day the Lord exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they stood in awe of him all the days of his life, just as they had stood in awe of Moses.

This sounds to me like a reference to the rapture. Moses prefigured the Lord Jesus and Joshua also prefigured the Lord. During the age of grace the church was in the wilderness and the world's government was in the hand of these various pagan tribes. At the end of this age we enter into the Millenial kingdom where the Lord Jesus will dispossess these tribes and rule and reign on earth.

15 Then the Lord said to Joshua, 16 “Command the priests carrying the ark of the covenant law to come up out of the Jordan.” 17 So Joshua commanded the priests, “Come up out of the Jordan.” 18 And the priests came up out of the river carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord. No sooner had they set their feet on the dry ground than the waters of the Jordan returned to their place and ran at flood stage as before.

If you were from Jericho spying the Israelites you would be terrified of them. Passing through the Red Sea was a type of baptism, so surely passing through the Jordan is also a type of death and resurrection. The Lord's death and resurrection was the fulfillment of this type concerning the Red sea, but the New Testament never says that passing through the Jordan is a type of that. I think it is reasonable to conclude that this is a type of the rapture at the end of this age.

19 On the tenth day of the first month the people went up from the Jordan and camped at Gilgalon the eastern border of Jericho. 20 And Joshua set up at Gilgal the twelve stones they had taken out of the Jordan. 21 He said to the Israelites, “In the future when your descendants ask their parents, ‘What do these stones mean?’ 22 tell them, ‘Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.’ 23 For the Lord your God dried up the Jordan before you until you had crossed over. The Lord your God did to the Jordan what he had done to the Red Sea when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over. 24 He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful and so that you might always fear the Lord your God.”

At the end of this age we will cross the Jordan just as at the beginning of the age we crossed the Red Sea. We crossed the Red Sea by Jesus death and resurrection, we cross this Jordan by being one with the Lord in His death and resurrection, by bearing the brands of Jesus in our flesh. Also the age began with the Passover and it ends with this second Passover.
