Luke 21:1-11 -- Using the Pandemic for a power grab

1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. 2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. 3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: 4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

Our life can be a living sacrifice that is acceptable to the Lord. So many are very concerned about how that is going to be judged. Here the Lord makes it clear He doesn’t look at your gift in terms of how many dollars it is worth, but rather how much of your living it is worth. The rich man that gave out of his abundance didn’t give any of his living, whereas the poor woman who gave out of her poverty gave all of her living. That is how we will be judged. You can’t fake that.

5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, 6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Imagine a rich person gave money for a wing of a hospital to be built with his name on it. He may feel how great this building and its gifts are, and yet with wars and riots and natural disasters it could be that not one stone is left upon another. So there you are appearing before the Lord at His judgement seat and your life’s work has gone up in smoke. So the Lord is not judging the money but the living that was sacrificed. He also isn’t looking at the buildings you built but the people who were built up by you. Those people will also be standing at the judgement seat of Christ.

7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? 8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. 9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

So how are we going to “not be deceived”? First when you see the same magazines and news outlets that mocked and ridiculed Christians announcing "the Messiah" and "the Second coming" then you know this is what he was talking about. Second of all you need to realize there is a purpose for the wars and commotions. They need to come to pass. Jesus said that the meek will inherit the earth, but how do we know that is true? Therefore Caesar Nero tested this, Napoleon tested this, Hitler tested this. It is necessary for these wars to take place because it is the test that proves God’s word is true. What about the commotions? You can read Gandhi and see what Bible verses he based his protests on and his non violent resistance. But not everyone is persuaded, so you need to have the commotions of the Black Panthers and ANTIFA and the looters and rioters to prove that all the treasures of wisdom are hidden in God’s word. In Daniel we see that the three guys with Daniel refused to worship the Golden idol, but by throwing them into the furnace of fire Nebuchadnezzar was able to see the Son of Man and be converted. Likewise Darius threw Daniel into the lion's den and then prayed to God. Delivering Daniel from the Lion's den is how Darius was able to believe.

But this is a sign of the Lord's coming, it is the apostasy. The falling away is also the setting yourself up as something. Recently Senator Warnock said that we could save ourselves and that the meaning of Easter is more transcendent than Jesus Christ. Easter is a pagan holiday, you would think a pastor would refer to resurrection day or the crucifixion, rather than "Easter". His tweet sounded good, a commitment to helping others we can save ourselves, but it denies the Lord who bought us. It is by definition a false prophet. According to the book of Revelation this would be the White Horse of the Apocalypse. The apostasy is a false gospel, and as Paul said it isn't even a gospel. Imagine telling someone who is drowning that he can save himself. This is a way to justify yourself while others drown, it is their own fault.

10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

We have had many different people all with their theory on how to raise a great empire. They have all come and gone. Alexander the Great, the Egyptian Pharaohs, the Roman Empire, this is necessary to test their wisdom and knowledge against God’s word. It is amazing how often an apostasy, some false doctrine, accompanies major wars in history. Rulers have to manipulate people into going to war with these false doctrines. World War II, The Vietnam War and the Gulf Wars were all started with false flag operations designed to manipulate the people to go to war. Right now the mainstream media in the US is acting as the "apostasy" to lead people astray into a race war. When corrupt rulers are exposed they do this to distract the populace. January 6 is a modern example of an FBI operation designed as a false flag so they could accuse MAGA of being dangerous. Don't question the powers that be or they will throw you into solitary confinement for trespassing. Better to have them fighting against each other than to be united in fighting against the leaders. They are particularly focused on any force that can unify and organize against their corrupt regime, hence the attack on the church. This is the Red horse of the apocalypse.

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

The earthquakes reveal the inner workings of the earth. The famines have really helped us to understand how to best cultivate the land. The pestilences have taught us a lot about healthy practices and the need for sanitation. Before we can rule and reign on this earth we need to learn from all these things, they are all necessary, they all need to come to pass before we can be fully prepared to meet the Lord. Famines and pestilences refer to the Black Horse and the Grey horse of the apocalypse. Famine and pestilence often follow war. When all the men are sent to war it causes a loss in manpower for the production of food. The destruction and poverty associated with war often result in unsanitary conditions and pestilence. However, pestilence can be used as an act of War. Genghis Khan tossed infected bodies over the walls of cities in Europe as a weapon of war. This pandemic was an act of war. It doesn't make sense, why would rulers who desire power want to hurt the people who are taxpayers? I was reminded of the story of how the Kimberley mine would "hobble" the slaves who tried to steal diamonds. They break the legs of these people. Once they are healed they can continue to work in the mines but are unable to run away. This pandemic has been designed in a bio weapons lab from the common cold. It is very possible that this cold virus is taken from a virus that school children have already been exposed to. This could explain why children and teachers have been virtually untouched by this pandemic. However, the elderly may never have seen it so they have died at the highest rate. The slave owners don't care about the elderly, they are an expense, not a source of revenue. Also online sales have skyrocketed during the pandemic, so the big tech companies have not been harmed, if anything they have profited. On the other hand small businesses owned and operated by the middle class have been hit very hard with tens of thousands of bankruptcies already and many more projected. So then a company like Amazon is benefitting in two ways, increased sales and decreased competition. Tax revenue may drop a little, but the costs of caring for the elderly will also drop significantly. This could explain the irrational demand to shut down all businesses and schools. The pandemic was designed to give the world's government more power and so the response is about this power grab.

Heaven or Hell? Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

To many they think the Bible is a simple either or. However, I would compare it to graduating High School. To graduate HS in NYC you needed 44 credits. Meaning you had to pass 44 classes, and not just any classes, you had to have so many english, so many math, etc. But you also needed to pass 5 state exams, and again, not just any five. However, there were special exceptions that might be made in certain cases. The school would work with anyone having difficulty to try and push them over the finish line.

If you failed a class we had summer school. We had all kinds of make up classes you could take. We would appoint private tutors to certain students who would profit the most from that.

But let's keep it simple, you needed a 65 to pass the exam. Now a 64 is very different from a 44. A kid who gets a 64 can come to summer school and with a little help pass the exam in the summer. A kid with a 44 needs to retake the class again. So then just like God the school system is very "merciful" looking to do all they can to help you pass and graduate. We had kids who would be absent 50% of the time and we had others who came every day and it was all they could do to get that 65.

What I am trying to get at is there are those who go straight through high school with flying colors, there are those who fail completely and have no chance of graduating and there is a very large grey area of kids who need a lot of help to graduate but if you give them the help they will persevere and graduate.

In my opinion the Laodicea church are like those who show up on day one of class, learn that if you believe and confess you will be saved. They say they believe and so they figure they have passed that class on salvation and don't show up again. Salvation is so much bigger, which is why Paul said "to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling".

Paul says we are saved by faith, not by works. So volunteering at the local food bank does not result in you being saved. However, James said that when Abraham offered up Isaac it was proof that he believed God.

You can tell me that you understand Earth Science, you got it, great. But the proof is how you do on that end of year exam. Yes Abraham was saved by faith, he believed God when He talked about the resurrection. How do we know? Because he offered up Isaac. Likewise you can tell me that you have believed God, but let's see the proof.

21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Greater works than these shall he do

The 11th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is Kaf. It's numeric value is 20. The picture is of a cover or bowl which is there to protect what is underneath. The word kaf means the palm of a hand. The word has a value of 100. There are 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet, two sequences of 11 and kaf ends the first sequence of 11 letters. Likewise this next 8 verses ends the first section of Psalm 119 that we are rescued out of the world by the incarnated word of God. The last two letters of this first section depict Jesus' two hands. In Exodus 4 we see the first mention of Kaf, Moses is instructed to throw down the staff and then take it back up in his hand. The first two mentions of hand are yud, the strength of his hand, but the third mention of hand is Kaf, the supernatural power of God imparted through his open hand in obeying God and letting God's power flow through him. When Moses wanted to see God's glory God passed by while covering Moses with His hand, Kaf. This letter is a picture of a bowl poured out. The priests had bowls to collect the blood of the sacrifice, so this letter is a picture of the atoning blood poured out. Just like human life the Hebrew alphabet is in two parts, the first eleven letters depict the first stage of human life where we become trained. This last letter is like getting your diploma and now you are a bowl poured out! All that study has filled you up and from this point on you are to run the race and be poured out. Think of Jesus when He said "it is finished". His blood was being poured out. That is the crowning accomplishment of our salvation, but our salvation was the starting point of our Christian life, which is a race set before us to run.

Psalm 119:81 My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.

This is like graduation, but not for your typical student that is in darkness, in the world. I went to a top ten university, and in my senior year I was on a field trip with all the other Geology majors. I was sitting by a campfire with the number 1 student in the entire school and I asked him a question. His response was priceless -- "No one knows the answer to that". Precisely, that is why I was asking him. He was excellent at telling you what other people knew, but how about answering questions that no one had an answer to? Think about Orville and Wilbur Wright, they wanted to make an airplane, their soul fainted for this, but how? No one knows the answer to this? Hope in the Lord's word, all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden there. No person can answer this, but God has created a number of birds, so surely He has the answer.

82 Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?

Without a vision the people perish. I had a vision when I became a teacher. I wanted to take kids who were average inner city school kids and in 180 days transport them to being among the top 1% of students in NYC. If I ask you to climb the Empire state building perhaps that is a tough job, but if I give you 180 days you should be able to do it. Year after year we didn't make it, but we got closer and closer and closer. Based on our trajectory I thought we would make it in 2020 but they cancelled the exams due to the pandemic.

83 For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.

In the poor peasant houses they didn't have chimneys. Their "bottles" were not glass they were made from animal skins. You don't throw your bottle on the floor so instead you would hang it up, however, the house will fill with smoke and your empty, poured out bottle (the letter kaf) becomes blackened and shriveled up. This is how you feel when you graduate. You have lived on a very tight budget during your college years, you are broke, you feel like an empty, shriveled up bottle, but you hang onto God's statutes. Think of Jesus, on the cross. They have divided up His clothes, He thirsts, He is dried up, and that is the conclusion of his 3 and 1/2 year ministry. That was His graduation ceremony. Satan gave him a chance to worship him and had He done so He could have easily been made a ruler over Satan's kingdom. But because He held to God's statutes He is here on this cross.

84 How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

Here is a second vision that we should have. Yes, we want the airplane, we want the resurrection from the dead, but we also want justice. We have seen first hand how evil is Satan's kingdom, and so we desire to see God execute judgement on this satanic kingdom.

85 The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.

When I graduated from college I had seen this. We had a prevailing gospel on the campus, the entire campus was being presented with the gospel and righteous judgement. As a result they digged several pits for me in an attempt to discredit the gospel work. But this is part of the education process, in boxing you should be focused more on what your opponent can do to you than to what you can do to your opponent. Mike Tyson's peek a boo style was all about avoiding his opponents hits. Muhammed Ali's style was all about protecting his head from being hit. Physically they were opposites, Ali was tall with a long reach, Tyson was short and always had to get inside his opponents reach. I like how he calls them "the proud". Yes, they were the rulers, the leaders, the ones in charge, but they had a key flaw, they were proud. The Bible says that pride comes before a fall. You want to learn how to bring the rulers of this age down, find out their pride.

86 All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.

I like this verse. When you first start playing baseball everything is so fast. The ball is coming so fast you simply close your eyes and swing. But as you get better you focus more until you can see the spin of the ball as it comes out of the pitchers hand. You can instantly adjust for a curve or fastball. As a Christian initially you are overwhelmed by the Bible and everything in it, but eventually you can get a handle on it and "all the commandments are faithful". The word means firmness, steadiness, like a batter who has dug in. Those commandments have put you into a position where you can stand during the enemies attack. You can see through the confusion and realize they are intentionally persecuting you. The word describes being continually harassed, chased, pursued ardently. However, it doesn't mean that there are real seekers coming after you seeking the truth. The word wrongfully means deception, deceit, fraud. Think of those who were testing the Lord like asking Him if it was right to give tribute to Caesar or not. "Help thou me" is used very often in referring someone helping me in battle (Joshua 1:14). Think of Mike Tyson fighting in the ring. All the commandments helped him, he was trained on how to fight this opponent, what to watch for, what the strategy is. But then during the fight in between each round he gets helped in his corner. They will give him water, patch him up, and maybe they spotted something they want to tell Mike about.

87 They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.

These are the best! You see the "amazing comebacks". I thought the Patriots victory over Atlanta Falcons in the Super bowl was the most amazing comeback I had ever seen and I hate the Patriots. I thought the first time that the Giants defeated the Patriots in the Super bowl had an amazing finish as well. There is a movie called "Miracle" about the US olympic hockey team victory over Russia at Lake Placid. In all their key games they won it in the third period. This is because they were in better shape than all their opponents and the reason for that was they did not forsake the precepts of their coach. He had promised them that he would guarantee one thing, they would be in better shape than all their opponents.

88 Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

This is the law of the spirit of life. We are running a marathon. George Sheehan said that at the 20 mile mark the race is half over. The last six miles is like running another twenty miles. “At mile 20, I thought I was dead. At mile 22, I wished I was dead. At mile 24, I knew I was dead. At mile 26.2, I realized I had become too tough to kill.” (unknown) What is the testimony of the Lord's mouth? Didn't He say "we would do greater things"? Quicken us according to your lovingkindness Lord and we will keep the testimony of Your mouth.

Revelation 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

I interpret this as follows. The man child is caught up is a reference to the rapture, at that point Satan and his angels get cast out of heaven and that is the start of the tribulation, the 70th week. This will include the dragon (China) attacking Taiwan and Taiwan retaliating by blowing up dams in China, particularly the 3 gorges dam. However, this drought will protect the populace from being killed when the dam is blown up.

Despite the Yangtze river basin being in a drought the dam itself is at 150 meters which is pretty full. The top is 165 meters, so you aren't filled to the top, but it is still pretty good.

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

The 12th letter of the Hebrew alphabet, Lamed. The numeric value is 30, the picture is of a staff. A staff is symbol of authority, not the same though as being a king. This staff is a wooden rod. Think of becoming a teacher, you have authority to prod and get the students moving, but you aren't the king, you aren't the mayor, or chancellor, or superintendent or the principal. So imagine you finish HS, college and graduate school and now at the age of 30 you become a teacher. That is "Lamed". This is the only letter in the Hebrew alphabet that rises above the line. The word Lamed means to learn, to train for, to be trained. For example, the Lord's disciples. It also means to teach, to instruct, to impart knowledge (for example, the Lord's disciples). The Hebrew alphabet is divided into two sets of 11 letters and Lamed is the first letter in the second set. The second set refers to the race that is set before us that we are to run with endurance.

Psalm 119:89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.

Why do I need to study the word? I don't want students who are just going through the motions, so I welcome this question. The reason we study science is because we have learned that nature is filled with patterns. If I see the pattern I can predict the future. This is what a weather man does. This is also what a geologist does when he identifies the flood zone. This is what insurance companies do when they calculate the risk of an accident or flood. The police have realized that they can predict the future of gang violence in the same way. These patterns are based on simple principles, forces, and that is what scientists are studying. In science we think that these laws like the law of gravity are "settled in heaven". This is why we study the word, all things came into being through the word and apart from the word there is nothing that has come into being, the word is settled in heaven. If you want to understand the world and what is happening and to be able to understand the key forces as well as predict the future you need to know the word.

90 Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.

This is the first principle settled in heaven that we need to see. God is faithful unto all generations. How could the Bible tell you to the year when Israel would be reformed into a nation? This is because God is faithful unto all generations. How can the Bible tell us all the countries that would be united in the Gog-Magog war described in Ezekiel 38, that is because God established the earth. If you want to understand world history, if you want to see meaning in world wars, and famines and pestilences then you must know the word that is settled in heaven. There are promises made by God that He is going to keep. Now this has been attacked, ridiculed, vilified, maligned and slandered through all generations and yet the Bible still abides. God is watching over His word to see that it is fulfilled.

91 They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.

This is another word that is settled in heaven. Jesus is Lord, all are His servants, and everything they do they will do according to God's ordinances. God is not mocked, whatever a man sows this he shall reap. This is the basic concept in psychology. All of the "great" minds in psychology have dabbled in this concept of whatever a man sows this he shall reap. If you sow to the flesh you reap death, if you sow to the spirit you reap life.

92 Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

Life is affliction. This affliction is a mercy to us to turn us to the God of salvation. But you have to have the law as your delight to see this. Imagine a car without any water in the radiator. The car will overheat, and will then seize up. You need that radiator to remove the heat to keep the car running at the right temperature. The world is like a great engine rolling down the tracks. If you remove the word of God what will happen? It will boil over, there is affliction everywhere and this affliction will cause people everywhere to protest, riot, loot and simply refuse to continue to work. Instead of the word of God we are feeding people with Hollywood and Disney. This is poison.

93 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.

The precepts are the previous 11 letters. We began our pilgrimage in a flimsy tent of this life to an eternal dwelling place in the heavens. All our treasure is there where thieves cannot break in and rob and where rust and moth cannot corrupt. Jesus is the door, only those who come through this door should the sheep listen to. Jesus is revealed to us as the way to go from death to life, from darkness to light, from the kingdom of Satan to the kingdom of the Son of His love. Jesus connects us to heaven when He was nailed to the cross. If no death, no life. First we have the fellowship of His sufferings then we have the outstanding resurrection. Jesus is the doorway, the only way to God, the only way to enter the Holy of Holies. The veil is torn so that we also may enter boldly after Jesus pioneered the way for us. Jesus is the two hands, the right hand of God and sitting at the right hand of God. We must learn to trust these two hands in prayer. These are the precepts that have quickened us.

94 I am thine, save me: for I have sought thy precepts.

Well now we need a whole new salvation. We are teaching these kids and now in our ministry we need salvation. I recently began sending money to an orphanage in Kenya. I am praying for their salvation, I am praying the Lord will save them, save me. I am praying that these 78 kids will also embrace the precepts and be saved by them. I am not seeking anything else. If you have a different goal then of course it may be unreasonable for God to step in and save. But I am praying that God's will would be done, His will is revealed in those precepts. Therefore I have a standing to ask God to save us. For example, a few weeks ago the brother there told me they had no blankets, no food, and no medicine for the kids who have AIDS. I told him I also was broke, but we had 78 kids, let's all pray and God will hear our cry. Sure enough a few days later that same week a check was deposited to my account because someone calculated they owed me more money. It was the amount they needed in Kenya. I told the brother to tell the kids that God heard their prayer.

95 The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.

When you are the shepherd you can no longer be ignorant of Satan's devices. You need to see where he lurks to get your kids. See what they are doing in the schools to get wolves in sheep's clothing to destroy the children. What will protect the kids is to hear the testimonies of others. How they were saved, how they were delivered, how the Lord has moved in their lives.

96 I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

The Lord is moving in a thousand ways. Just look at the various people who are considered to be "watchmen". They are all so different because the commandment is exceeding broad. I am nothing like Vicki Goforth Parnell, I am also nothing like Dr. Barry Awe and I do not teach anything like Pastor Sandy Armstrong. And yet, you can see how we are all in the same ministry, we all see the same goal, Jesus' kingdom on earth.

Luke 21:12-24 The Testimony will stand for 2,000 years

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. 13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

This is a very big but, one minute He is giving us a sweeping view of the 2,000 year history and now He is telling the apostles that before the nations are tested, before the kings are tested, before the scientists and farmers and health care workers are tested that they need to be tested. We need proof that this word can stand the test first. There needs to be a testimony that the fellowship of the apostles is a trustworthy word that can withstand the gates of hell. This is the foundation word of this entire age. What did we see in Daniel? Daniel and his three associates were tested by fire and by lions. As a result of this test it was declared that their God was the real God and everyone needed to hear their word.

The Lord is telling the apostles that He appreciates their interest in how this will all end but before any of that happens they are going to be tested.

14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

All of us have been given this word, not simply Peter and Paul. The story of Saint Stephen is a fulfillment of this word. The word that the Lord gave them they have given to us. I see these people who have lost everything in these fires in California. I just wish I would see one of them holding a Bible saying “I still have this, I’ll be fine”.

16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. 17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. 18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish. 19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

Twice He says “for my name’s sake”. This is how you can settle your mind. The suffering you are going through is for “His name’s sake”. The way you respond will be a testimony, it could be a glory to the Lord or it could be a shame. Really, be prepared so you aren’t shocked, and glorify the Lord. Now we can understand why He chose Judas. The Lord has given us an example of how to go through this, we will be betrayed so He needed to be betrayed to give us the pattern on how to go through this.

20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

This is a direct reference to 70 AD and the army of Titus. This is how it works. Those who are in power must hear the testimony of the apostles. They despise it, hate it, persecute it, and even put them to death. But the testimony has been made and it will stand for 2,000 years. Meanwhile those leaders will then be utterly and completely destroyed and disappear like dust being blown by the wind. Those are “days of vengeance”. Not yours, not ANTIFA’s, but God’s. A solid testimony of the Lord lays the groundwork for Him to then come in and take vengeance because they wouldn’t listen to His word. Not only so but the Lord tells us "the end from the beginning". Look at how the age began and you will see how it will end.

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Once again, a sweeping view of the last 2,000 year history for the Jews. They were led away captive to all nations, it is called the diaspora. Jerusalem was trodden down of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles were fulfilled. It wasn’t until 1948, after the holocaust, that the Jews were able to return. Definitely “great distress” in the land. But even in 1948 Jerusalem was not returned to the Jews. It has only been in the last two years that the US and a few other countries have recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Please note that He does not say "please pray that your flight will not take place in winter" that verse is in Matthew and Mark. I suspect that the verses in Matthew and Mark refer to the start of the Great Tribulation which takes place in the midst of the 7 years whereas Luke is talking to those who are raptured at the beginning of the tribulation. I find it quite interesting and conspicuous that this verse does not refer to the winter.

Feast of Trumpets is a rehearsal in the same way that schools do a fire drill to practice for what may come.

Luke 21:25-28 The powers of heaven will be shaken

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars;

I don’t understand why Christians who claim to believe that every word of the Bible is the inspired word of God ignore this. There have been amazing signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars over the last few years. We have had a number of lunar eclipses taking place on holy days of Israel and solar eclipses taking place at key times as well. The signs in the stars like the great sign from Revelation 12 have also been seen.

and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

At best we are just starting to get a glimpse of this. Every time they use the terms “apocalyptic” to refer to a fire, or flood, or some other disaster it means we are starting to get a glimpse. If the powers of heaven are going to be shaken it should not come as a surprise that the powers of the earth would also be shaken. We are told in Daniel that each nation has spiritual forces associated with it. "Men's hearts failing" we have had a suicide rate that has risen at epidemic levels and correlates very closely to the increasing use of social media. I have been seeing the natural disasters that are now occurring daily on the Earth, it is really quite astounding.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Seriously, seeing the powers of the US government shaken could be the key event that immediately precedes our seeing the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory? I think this just jumped to the conclusion of the great tribulation, it is not clear to me how "public" the first or second rapture will be.

Who is the “they”? It refers to all those who didn’t see or refused to see Jesus, His power and glory, during this age. Right now there is a privilege to see and believe in Jesus, but then everyone will see. Today you can embrace Jesus, then you will be terrified.

But this gives us a really big window into the the day of the Lord. I believe each group that is taken whether it is the church, or the first fruits, or those who are beheaded, or the nation of Israel, with each group the powers of heaven are shaken, they are defeated, and then through that those left on the Earth will see the Son of Man coming. I would compare this to a football game, the first string is in, they run over Satan's army, it is a runaway victory, then they are pulled (raptured) and the second string comes in and they also score and then the third string. We are all going through the same training. If some are sitting on the bench they will get their chance to get on the field. No one wants to go to the victory celebration if they spent the whole game on the bench. But if you got into the game then you have as much a part in the victory as anyone else does.

28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

The rapture is referred to as "the day of redemption". Here the Lord's reference to "your redemption draweth nigh" refers to the rapture. On the one hand we don't know the day or the hour, but on the other hand we do know the signs and when see these things happening we know the day of redemption draws nigh. There are signs in the sun, moon and stars that will let you know the day is drawing near. On earth you will have distress of nations which could refer to a pandemic, it could refer to a global shutdown of the economy, it sounds like a great depression and hyper inflation. With perplexity sounds like the craziness we are seeing today where down is up, evil is good, and who knows what the truth is. The sea and the waves roaring sounds like the record breaking hurricane seasons that we have seen. Men's hearts failing them sounds like the epidemic we have seen with suicide. Finally the powers of heaven shaken sounds like the great powers like the US and China having their governments shaken (that is what would be visible as a sign to the disciples). This is Luke which is supposed to be to those who are raptured at the beginning of the tribulation, so how does this then jump to "Seeing the Son of Man coming in a cloud". I have an idea, those that are raptured at the beginning of the tribulation will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud. This is huge, because this would mean the very last sign we will see prior to the rapture will be "the powers of heaven will be shaken"

We know from Revelation that when the Man child is raptured Satan and his angels are cast to heaven, so that would be the powers of heaven shaken, but that occurs after the rapture.

We know that "our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."

And we know that when we are raptured "He that restrains will step aside" allowing the antichrist and the working of evil to be revealed. The teaching is that He that restrains refers to the Holy Spirit, but if we are the Body of Christ, then aren't we the hands and feet of the Holy Spirit? If we are wrestling against these powers doesn't that mean we are restraining these powers?

The Lord said that we should watch and prevent the house from being broken into, that is a wrestling against the liar and the thief.

What is happening right now? We are going to see the US government shaken. They are trying to avoid this but it is impossible. The audits will reveal massive fraud, a stolen election, and destroy the legitimacy of our elected officials and therefore of our government. The audit will reveal treason on a widespread and massive scale. Not only so but it will reveal a Satanic cult that has infiltrated and spread through the entire society. We should not be surprised by this, Satan tempted Jesus saying the entire world was under his control, do you really think there aren't many people out there that fell to that temptation? We are about to see "the powers of heaven shaken". Likewise China's government is being shaken with massive bankruptcies.

Human History -- The Six day war!

I have been looking for all the signs, all the prophecies, every word concerning the pre tribulation rapture to see when the Lord was returning. Not as a "date setter" but as someone who would be faithful to the Lord's word to watch.

We have had several people on the internet do a marvelous job of breaking down the signs in the sun, moon and stars. But although these signs really do cause us to be aware that the day is approaching I feel that some are trying to make more out of them than the Bible says.

Also the calendar and all the help we have gotten on reading the calendar and looking at the feasts and seeing the allegories like Noah and the giving of the law are also great. However, the New Testament makes it clear that the rapture is not our coming to Mt. Sinai but rather our coming to Mt. Zion. The two are similar yes, but not a perfect overlay. The same is true of Noah, it will be like the days of Noah but God has promised that this time the judgement will be with fire, so again, similar but not a perfect overlay.

Others are looking at the natural disasters, the hurricanes in particular, the "sea and waves roaring" and that is a sign that we are close but that is not it either.

"Men's hearts failing them" has been likened to the epidemic in suicide that correlates very well with the use of Social media the last twenty years. Yes, these signs are giving all of us the feeling that these are the last days. But those are like signs saying that NYC is 50 miles away. We can see that the day is approaching, but that isn't the sign for the exit.

I really enjoyed discovering the prophecy of Judah the righteous concerning the Turks having Jerusalem for six jubilees, the nations having it as "no man's land" for one jubilee, then Israel having it for one jubilee and then the last ten years begins. That was wonderful because it confirms that 2017 was a Jubilee year and that in turn was critical for calculating the 1335 days from that.

However, the prophecy from Judah the righteous revealed something else, it equated human history with the six day war in which God's people then get Jerusalem. I thought that was very poetic way of looking at human history and the purpose.

Another prophet said that Israel had 9 red heifers prior to the first two temples and the tenth red heifer would be a sign that the Messiah was coming. These red heifers were sent to Israel on the 15th and came out of quarantine on the 25th, Elul 29. That day is very prophetic when it takes place on the seventh year of a shemitah year, which this year is. I posted a dream about this that I believe explains the significance. Lucille Ball came to this woman in Texas saying she needed her seeds. The Red heifers came from Texas. Lucille means light and she was a very famous red head. So this correlates nicely with Israel coming to Texas because they need their red heifers, very famous red heads. Charlie Brown comics have a girl named Lucy who is famous for moving the ball when Charlie is going to kick it. That is another reference to a Lucy Ball. In the dream Lucille Ball says that she has a word from God that He has been keeping track of all the sins against this woman (whose name is liberty, ie freedom). He says He will recompense all those who have stolen your liberty. In many ways that is a fair description of the tribulation period. It was very clear that God was talking both about the woman named liberty and the sins of the world as a whole against the believers. But not only so, He will also reward those who have suffered loss and that sounds like the rapture. So these red heifers are a very significant sign.

And that leads me to the "missing link". 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

When we are raptured we will see the Lord coming in the clouds with great glory. Luke is spoken to those who are going to be raptured pre tribulation and the very last sign they will see prior to this is "the powers of heaven shall be shaken". This doesn't say the heavens will be shaken or rolled up or dissolve in heat. I believe we have confused this verse with other events. Nor does it say the whole world will see the Lord coming in the clouds or that He will step down on the Mount of Olivet, again I think we confuse this with other verses.

Satan told the Lord he would give him the entire world if he worshipped him. The Lord refused, but didn't deny that the world was Satan's to give and therefore we can conclude that the rulers have succumbed to this temptation and worship Satan. Paul said "our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." We are wrestling against the powers of heaven, not against flesh and blood. When we are raptured He that restrains steps aside. It is commonly taught that He which restrains is the Holy Spirit, yet we are the Body of Christ. We are the hands and feet that the Spirit animates in this restraining.

What we are seeing right now with the Election audits, the lawsuits, and the arrests of the pedophile rings of sex traffickers, this is our wrestling with the powers of heaven. What the world sees is the US government gets shaken, the Chinese government gets shaken, Russia, Iran, Ukraine, Germany, UK all get shaken. But what we see is the powers of heaven get shaken. In other words, this is "the six day war" that is human history. The world focuses on wars, famines and pestilence, but we focus on Jerusalem, the Temple Mount and the rebuilding of the Temple. This is an affront to God since Jesus was already sacrificed for us, but it is given to the world as the great deception. The great deception is not UFO's though that may play a role. The great deception is that the AntiChrist is the Messiah and will set himself up in the temple. It is the ultimate affront to God. His people, His betrothed, has the Antichrist enthrone himself in the Temple that God gave to them to build.

Luke 21:29-36 Behold the Fig tree, and all the trees

29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Israel is depicted as a fig tree. It sprouted in the good land again in 1948. In 2019 it began to shoot forth with peace plans to recognize Jerusalem. That is a sign that summer is nigh. That is a sign that Jesus is about to send forth His angels to reap His harvest. Then in 2022 the Israeli Prime minister said he would accept the two state solution. This paves the way for the Antichrist to confirm the covenant with the many. 1943 Lebanon got their independence, their national symbol is the Holy Cedar tree which appears on their flag. 1944 Syria got their independence, the olive tree is their national symbol. 1946 Jordan got their independence, their national symbol is the oak tree. 1947 Iraq got their independence, the date palm is their national tree. 1947 Egypt got their independence, their national tree is the Date tree. 1948 Israel got their independence and their national tree is the Fig tree. Hence "all the trees".

32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. 33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Is there anyone in history who has been able to declare that “heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away”. Once again, if we get a revelation of this we would realize what a treasure the Bible is. The Bible is filled with prophecies, amazing prophecies, incredible to believe that they were fulfilled. This is how you know that God is God and there is no other.

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

The Lord realizes how valuable His word is, but if you don’t, well that will be a great insult to Him. If you are caught up in trivial garbage that is on TV, or Youtube and are distracted from the word, then the day will come upon you unaware. You will be snared like an animal in a trap. You will not greet that day like a child of the king, but rather like an animal in a trap. The Bible is crystal clear, it is a shame for any believer if "that day", the "day of redemption", the rapture, comes upon them unawares. Everyone understands that the Fig tree generation is a great prophecy, well this is also a prophecy, so beware.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Our salvation is not based on how worthy we are but rather on how worthy the Lord is. No one is righteous, no one is worthy of salvation. But that is not what He is talking about here. Not all believers will be “worthy to escape all these things”. Obviously He isn’t talking about the persecution that the early church went through or that the apostle’s suffered. In Matthew He said that we should rejoice when that happens because this is how they treated the prophets of old and it is evidence that we have been counted worthy to suffer the same. He is talking about us, at the end of the age, being raptured prior to the Great Tribulation. Not all believers will be counted worthy to be raptured prior to the Great Tribulation. Some will be left behind like trapped animals. But imagine being counted worthy to stand before the Son of man, to be one of those raptured to the heavens to kick Satan out and to then return with the Lord in the clouds as His army when He comes in great power and glory. Think about this, there are some believers who embrace the Lord's word and do rejoice that they were counted worthy to suffer on behalf of His name. There are others who don't see it that way, when you suffer on behalf of the Lord's name they feel you provoked that by preaching righteousness. They feel if you would just shut up you would make it easier for us all to get along. They want to escape the persecution that comes with preaching righteousness, hence they have come up with their own escape and will not be counted worthy of the Lord's escape.

37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives. 38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

That sounds like Revelation 12 where the virgin goes into labor to bring forth a manchild and then Michael goes to war with Satan. The manchild is caught up to heaven, that would be a happy day, a day of receiving an award, a recognition of achievement. Meanwhile the foolish virgins are left behind.
