Zechariah 9:7 and I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth; but he that remaineth, he also shall belong to our God, and shall be as a leader in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.

This verse reminded me of my own salvation experience so I thought I should share that, especially since this is now the 50th year since I was saved and I found that to be interesting after the recent discussion on the significance of the number 50 and how it ties into the festival of weeks.

When I was 11 and 12 I was on a Pee Wee football team that won back to back national championships. We flew to Florida and Texas to play bowl games and were undefeated for two years straight. I was now too old to play on that team again so I began to think what I would do with my life. I figured if I gave myself to something at this point in my life I could do anything so I began to think about what I would really like to give my life to. Did I want to be rich? Did I want to play on a professional sport team (I figured I could play goalie on a hockey team)? As I was thinking about this I realized it all depended on whether or not God was real. After all if God was not real and the goal of life is to get as much money as possible then breaking a few laws and ignoring the ten commandments would be fine. However, if God was real then that would be stupid because when it was all over you would be judged by God. This is why this verse reminded me of that experience, people who worship idols like money will "drink blood" and have the flesh still between the teeth. Bernie Madoff is a good example, the goal was to get rich and who he destroyed and hurt in the process didn't matter.

Well as soon as I asked myself that question I immediately responded within myself, that is stupid, of course God is real. I know some people have long philosophical discussions and debates on this topic but it took me all of ten seconds to realize it was a dumb discussion, God was real.

So then the next question I had was "which God"? I considered the Jewish God and felt that God was definitely real. You can't scam people with some hokey pokey while bringing millions of people out of Egypt with flocks and the elderly and the children. Forty years in the desert, no way they survive if God is not supplying them with food and water. No, I was sure the God of the Old Testament was real, but what about Jesus? You have some man walking around in sandals in the Middle East claiming to be God? That seemed preposterous. So at that point I decided to learn more about the Jewish God (I was Episcopalian).

My best friend was a Jewish kid named Joshua (the irony was lost on me, I was only 12 and didn't know anything). So I began going to the Synagogue with him on Saturday and joined his family for Passover. Meanwhile I had decided I was going to carefully study and pray over the Bible, a great plan which I never followed through on. Then one day while in Church the Priest read the verse Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the land lament, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

As soon as I heard that I immediately responded on the inside -- I want to be there and see that! I realized that would be a really great thing to be a part of with my life. As soon as I had that thought there was an immediate response inside "pray about it" (I knew the verse that you ask and you shall receive) so I said to myself "I will". As soon as I said that there was a second response "this time do it!" I felt a twinge of shame but ok, I vowed sitting there in church that as soon as I got home I would pray about it. Sure enough as soon as I got home I went straight to my room, got down on my knees and prayed "Lord, I want to see you when you come down in those clouds." As soon as I did I got a response "You will, and furthermore I say unto you that you are a son of God".

That stunned me. I was a son of God? I would walk around looking at everything and thinking "all this belongs to me". I lived in a town with some very rich people who flew to work in Manhattan in helicopters and lived in mansions. But I realized I was richer than all of them.

I began to pray and fellowship with the Lord everyday but after a few months I had a big issue. I knew there was a verse that said "no one knows the day or the hour" so it seemed to me that might contradict His word that I would see His return. I didn't know the Bible well enough to research into this so I prayed and told Him I needed help, I needed Him so to show me that this word was real.

After that prayer I was coming back from a hiking trip with the Boy Scouts. The father that picked us up had Parkinson's disease, it affected his legs but not his upper body. He used to be a world class skier, but now needed crutches to walk. I was sitting in the front with him, his two sons and another scout were sitting in the back seat. When we got off the parkway we got onto a road called weaver street, it was a two lane road with double yellow lines down the middle. All of a sudden he sped up and passed the car in front of us going around 55. That was weird and got my attention. I then realized his foot had seized up on the accelerator and with the other foot he was standing on the brake. He needed help so I bent over and tried to knock the foot off the accelerator. Instead all I did was knock his other foot off the brake, we immediately jumped up to around 85 while he was pulling with his hand on the parking brake and filling the car with that burning smell. I heard horns blaring and looked up just in time to see him thread the needle between an oncoming car and another car he was passing. So I got more serious about pulling the foot off when I was completely shaken by the blare of the horn of an 18 wheeler. I looked across my body through the window and all I could see was the grill of an 18 wheeler filling my window. We had just flown through a red light. I knew this street well enough to know that we were now heading downhill and very soon we would hit a corner with big boulders on the side. At this speed we will crash (there is a golf course right at this place and I had ridden my bicycle here several times to work as a caddy). So I grabbed his foot with both hands, pulled it off the accelerator and then stepped on the brake and we came to stop right next to the boulders. I thought wow, that was close. I then turned around and saw the faces of the three kids in the back and it was clear they had thought they were going to die. It was a slight shock to me because that had never crossed my mind, and yet when I thought about it that seemed very weird. I should have thought I was going to die, why didn't I? Then I realized the Lord had told me I would see Him come down in those clouds, that was real, in my heart I knew that was the truth, and therefore the thought that I would die in a car crash never crossed my mind.

Zechariah 10 -- At the time of the latter rain some will beseech the Lord and others will listen to sorcerers.

1 Ask of the Lord rain in the time of the latter or spring rain. It is the Lord Who makes lightnings which usher in the rain and give men showers, and grass to everyone in the field.

The Lord gives us a beautiful picture of what it will be like “in the time of the latter or spring rain”. Once again the spring harvest festival is the festival of the firstfruits. The Spring rain helps both the firstfruits ripen and the fall harvest sprout. The rapture is likened to the harvest, but prior to the harvest you will have this rain and at this time you will have God’s faithful people beseeching Him for this rain. The rain is a blessing that falls from heaven, it is a fresh word from God. What have we seen these last few years? Dana Coverstone’s dreams went viral and along with them many other rapture dreams. I have watched many of these and have noticed that for a great majority of them we are talking about new believers and believers who have recently repented, often as a result of these dreams. Then there are those who have focused on the signs in the heavens, a topic many Christians are completely unfamiliar with but which is also very relevant since we have recently seen quite a few of those signs that were prophesied. We also have those that help us understand the Hebrew and the Greek. There are those who are preaching the word both from the old and new testaments. The Lord has made this, the rain, at the latter time. Just like James said, if you receive the rain from heaven you should have something to show for it, the grass in the field.

2 For the teraphim (household idols) have spoken vanity (emptiness, falsity, and futility) and the diviners have seen a lie and the dreamers have told false dreams; they comfort in vain. Therefore the people go their way like sheep; they are afflicted and hurt because there is no shepherd.

At the same time that the Lord is sending blessing from heaven the world is getting their speaking from sorcerers. A modern sorcerer works for the pharmaceutical companies and in the bioengineering world. Fauci is the modern day sorcerer. Let’s consider what he has spoken carefully. When he was advising Trump he was the one saying not to worry about Covid 19 and he advised against shutting down traffic from Wuhan to the US. There were very knowledgeable scientists in both China and the US warning that this could become a pandemic as early as January and yet Fauci was with those ridiculuing and mocking them. He told everyone that they didn’t need masks and later said he said that knowing it was a lie because we were short of masks. Why were we short? Since Fauci had been advised of the potential threat of this pandemic as early as January, even though he disagreed, shouldn’t he have seen that the US was stocked with PPE just in case? When Trump said that HCQ could be used to treat Covid Fauci said that scientists had determined that it was not effective and even dangerous. That was a lie. Scientists had not determined any such thing and only now have we learned that it is the opposite, scientists have determined that HCQ is effective if used early. Fauci originally told us the shut down would be for a month and that was about 14 months ago. He has since mandated masks and yet studies have been done which show masks are not effective and actually increase the risk of respiratory illness. What we are seeing is the flock of sheep separating into two groups, one following the lord and the other following the sorcerers, the “household idols” that speak vanity on TV. The CDC has admitted there is no scientific reason why those who are vaccinated should wear a mask. However, the people on the TV speaking vanity are outraged. If you don’t have to wear a mask how would they know who is vaccinated and who isn’t? Think how idiotic that is. They tell you that you must get vaccinated to protect yourself from the virus. If you are vaccinated why would you care if someone else isn’t, aren’t you protected? The people listening to them are afflicted. Their kids have to stay home, businesses are shut, and there is evidence that the vaccine carries significant risks that they are unable to assess since the data on that is kept from them. They are like a flock of sheep without a shepherd being attacked and ravaged by the wolves. Every day their numbers dwindle and shrink more and more.

Zechariah 10:3-5 Let's look at those who are not true shepherds compared to the army of the Lord

3 My anger is kindled against the shepherds [who are not true shepherds] and I will punish the goat leaders, for the Lord of hosts has visited His flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as His beautiful and majestic horse in the battle.

Make no mistake, this is a battle. Smallwell, Schiff, Pelosi, Fauci, these are the “goat leaders”. They make themselves out to be the “greatest of all time” but the Lord clearly has them in derision. He tells us He will punish them. Fauci’s involvement in the gain of function research at the Wuhan lab including this particular virus is now coming to light. Schiff’s involvement in phony impeachments of Trump and his obstruction of justice is also coming to light. Smalwell’s involvement with Chinese spies, Pelosi’s stock trades on inside information, it is all being revealed and they will be punished for their crimes. Liz Cheney was recently punished, Newsom is being recalled, Cuomo is being investigated. They will all be punished while God’s people are transformed from sheep to a beautiful and majestic horse prepared for battle. Steve Bannon and his “War Room Pandemic” has been preparing God’s people for battle. Women’s groups rose up to organize the “Stop the Steal” rallies, a modern day Esther. Liz Cheney was kicked out of leadership because these ones rose up to get involved with the precincts in the Republican party. The audit in Arizona has discovered massive fraud and released the evidence. It is no longer possible to shut this down and we will see audits go on all over the country. Parents are flooding the school board meetings and expressing extreme displeasure at the curriculum, even voting board members out. This is nationwide, whether they are starting new platforms, responding to the cancel culture, organizing recall efforts, etc. What we are seeing is a beautiful and majestic horse prepared for battle.

4 Out of him [Judah] shall come forth the Cornerstone, out of him the tent peg, out of him the battle bow; every ruler shall proceed from him.

This is what we are seeing. We have cornerstones like Mike Lindell setting up new platforms and releasing compelling and damning evidence of fraud that has been seen by hundreds of millions of people. We have tent pegs like those who go to precinct meetings, school board meetings, or organize rallies. And we have the “battle bow” like Rudolph Giuliani and Steve Bannon who have relentlessly pursued these crooks.

5 And they shall be like mighty men treading down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle, and they shall fight because the Lord is with them, and the [oppressor’s] riders on horses shall be confounded and put to shame.

That’s right, the “deplorables” get their hands and feet dirty, sloshing through the mud and the muck in the streets. The “oppressors” like Zuckerburg and Gates ride on horses with hundreds of millions of dollars they can sprinkle around but they are confounded. The people they are giving money to are not like mighty men, rather they are like long haired hippies who were draft dodgers. They are great at screaming and yelling and shouting out threats. But they are disorganized and have a very high incidence of being killed by “friendly fire”. The cancel culture cancelling anyone, even their own armies. They are like those clowns caught on video camera running hidden ballots through the machines over and over again.

Zechariah 10:6-7 Then the redeemed of the Lord will be like a mighty warrior

6 And I will strengthen the house of Judah and I will save the house of Joseph [Ephraim]. I will bring them back and cause them to dwell securely, for I have mercy, loving-kindness, and compassion for them. They shall be as though I had not cast them off, for I am the Lord their God, and I will hear them.

Judah represent those who stand on the word (the law) and Ephraim refers to the redeemed of the Lord (when Jacob blessed them he crossed his arms, the redeemed are those blessed by the Lord’s work on the cross). We prayed for the truth to come out concerning the election fraud and the Lord answered with Peter Navarro’s report, Mike Lindell’s movies and the Arizona audit. This is like a flood that can no longer be held back.

7 Then Ephraim [the ten tribes] shall become like a mighty warrior, and their hearts shall rejoice as through wine; yes, their children shall see it and rejoice; their hearts shall feel great delight and glory triumphantly in the Lord!

I would like to share a video with you but apparently can't. So instead if you look at the profile picture you can see a shot of the January 6 rally at Washington DC as people stood from the Whitehouse all the way to the Washington monument.


I don't like this video because it only show a very small portion of the crowd.

Zechariah 10:8-12 The redeemed will increase like a swarm of bees

8 I will hiss for them [as the keeper does for his bees] and gather them in, for I have redeemed them, and they shall increase [again] as they have increased [before, in Egypt].

9 And though I sow them among the nations, yet they shall [earnestly] remember Me in far countries, and with their children they shall live and shall return [to God and the land He gave them].

10 I will bring them [all Israel] home again from the land of Egypt and gather them out of Assyria, and I will bring them into the land [on the east and on the west of the Jordan, into] Gilead and Lebanon, and room enough shall not be found for them.

The entire world is seeing what is going on and everyone is involved. This is not just about the US, once Biden took control we saw China become very aggressive towards Taiwan, we saw Russia become very aggressive towards the Ukraine and we are seeing Iran attack Israel. Australia and Japan are involved with Taiwan, all of Europe is involved with the Ukraine, and the entire world is concerned about what is going on in the Middle East. The entire world is separating over so many issues, whether it is the pandemic or the matter of censorship. We see in Canada and the UK laws concerning censorship and police brutally shutting down churches due to the “mask mandate”.

11 And [the Lord] will pass through the sea of distress and affliction [at the head of His people, as He did at the Red Sea]; and He will smite down the waves of the sea, and all the depths of the [river] Nile shall be dried up and put to shame; and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down and the scepter or rod [of the taskmasters of Egypt] shall pass away.

We are seeing this right now. The Nile river signifies the world’s economy and it is drying up. The Pandemic has been a worldwide hit on the economy, yet the tech giants thought they were immune and instead were profiting greatly. They have destroyed their credibility, Twitter, Facebook, Google, Amazon and Apple were caught in their arrogance. Competing platforms are popping up and what seemed ridiculous a year ago now appears like a very valid competitors to them.

12 And I will strengthen [Israel] in the Lord, and they shall walk up and down and glory in His name, says the Lord.

You have to be in the Lord. You have to be an expression of the Lord’s person and work. That is the path victory. It is a path that is filled with worship and praise of the Lord.

18 Biblical indications that Pentecost is a festival that is a shadow of the Rapture

1. At the Pentecost celebration at the beginning of this age the believers were all in one accord and in one place. The next time this will happen will be at the end of the age during the rapture.





2. This celebration was a public testimony to the world that the Lord dwells with us. The rapture will also be a public testimony that we dwell with the Lord that everyone, regardless of their language or background, will understand.





3. Peter spoke to those in the upper room quoting Joel which is talking about the last days. What is the connection? If that Pentecost was similar to the engagement ceremony then that ceremony points to the wedding which is to come.





4. Pentecost signified a change in dispensation. We saw this when the law was given on Mt. Sinai and we see it again at the beginning of the church age. The rapture will also be a change in dispensation.





5. Prior to Pentecost we were told to wait for Him and He would sent the promise of the Spirit. We were waiting according to the promised coming. During an engagement ceremony there is a promised gift of an engagement ring, it also points to the wedding when there is the promise that the Bridegroom will come and take the bride away.





6. During Pentecost they were all gathered together “in the upper room”. This term the upper room is used allegorically in the Old Testament referring to the rapture to an upper room. By itself it is not so strong, but taken with all the other points it seems this must have allegorical significance.





7. The trumpet of God was sounded by God Himself when He gave the law at Mt. Sinai. There are only two references to “the trumpet of God” (as opposed to us blowing the trumpet or angels blowing the trumpet). One was at Mt. Sinai, the other is at the rapture.





8. Mt. Sinai can be seen as a picture of a wedding ceremony with the vows where the Bride says “I will”. Also the mountain was surrounded by clouds which can be likened to the covering at a traditional Jewish wedding. In the same way we can see that Pentecost was when the church became the betrothed of the Lord and He wrote His laws on our heart.





9. When you celebrate the feast of Pentecost according to Leviticus you are to remember where the Lord has brought you out of. Everything we are seeing happen this last year is a strong reminder of how corrupt, hypocritical and deceitful this world is. We are seeing the oppression and the bondage of this world.





10. Jesus fulfilled the first three feasts in order and precisely according to all that is written. The last three feasts will be fulfilled by the Lord’s second coming. So where was the Lord during Pentecost? The Spirit was there, but what about the Lord physically? Pentecost is supposed to have the high priest hold up two loaves baked with new leaven, the new customs and practices. We are told in the new Testament that the Lord is making of two one. That Jesus is the High priest and that the church is composed of Jews and Gentiles, two loaves. So then, would the rapture be a fulfillment of the Lord offering these two loaves to God the Father?





11. Pentecost is a festival for the wheat harvest. The rapture is likened to the wheat harvest. At the harvest you can tell the difference between wheat and tares because the wheat will “bow” due to the weight of the fruit whereas the tares stand straight because they have no fruit. The believers bow before the Lord because all good things are from God whereas the tares are proud and arrogant.





12. Harvest is a picture of the resurrection and ascension, we can tie the wheat harvest to the resurrection and rapture.





13. There is a pre tribulation rapture and a post tribulation rapture and they are separated by about six months (3 1/2 years but seasonally speaking about six months apart). This is similar to the first fruit harvest and then the feast of ingathering at the end of the fall. Paul tells us that these festivals are a shadow of things to come, they are prophetic. We are also told that we are not to be judged if we keep them or not. The only day the believers are to keep is the Lord’s table and every time we do we show forth his death, a term that refers to counting. Pentecost is the festival without a day because there is no specific date for it, rather you count 50 days from the feast of the first fruit, which was the first day. There is a debate as to how to calculate the day of Pentecost, some say that the “sabbath” refers to the holy day of Passover, others that this term is specific to the Sabbath (seventh day). I subscribe to the second because using this approach the Lord’s day will always be the day of the Lord’s resurrection and it will also always be the day of Pentecost. So although we don’t have a specific date for Pentecost it will always be on the Lord’s day. That would tie into the fact that the only day we as believers are to keep is the Lord’s day. Likewise the rapture is a day without a date.





14. The loaves are processed, not simply grain being waved, but the cooked loaves. This is a contrast between grain that has not yet been ground into flour or made into bread, and the finished product. The Lord is the content of what we eat, but from the time of his resurrection we have been grinding that word, mixing that word and cooking that word and feeding the saints with that word. At the end of the age of grace we will see the finished product. The two loaves from both Gentile and Jewish Christians throughout the entire age.





15. Timeline of Pentecost fits with the Song of Solomon’s chapter 2. Late spring early summer timeline when the Lord tells the bride to “come away”.





16. The three feasts of Passover, unleavened bread and first fruit all happen in the span of a week (8 days). Then you have this gap of 50 days (five signifies grace and ten is a number of completion, the fifty days signifies the completion of the age of grace) and then you celebrate Pentecost. After this there is another long gap before you have the three fall feasts. If you liken the summer to the “tribulation” then you have a pre tribulation (summer) harvest and a post tribulation harvest.





17. The story of Ruth is a type of the Gentile bride being married to a type of Christ that takes place during Pentecost festival. In fact you are to read this story as part of the Pentecost celebration.





18. Ruth takes place during the book of Judges, an evil time, when everyone does what is right in their own sight.

This may answer the question why Pentecost is on May 16th this year, seemingly a week early (Behold I come quickly)

Zechariah 11 Woe to the worthless shepherd

1 Open your doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour your cedars!

2 Wail, O fir tree and cypress, for the cedar has fallen, because the glorious and lofty trees are laid waste! Wail, O you oaks of Bashan, for the thick and inaccessible forest [on the steep mountainside] has in flames been felled!

3 A voice of the wailing of the shepherds, for their glory, the broad pasturage, is laid waste! A voice of the roaring of young lions, for the pride of the Jordan [the jungle or thickets] is ruined!

Right now Wisconsin has announced they are also going to audit the election. We have enough evidence now to decertify the Arizona election, if Wisconsin also falls then Biden’s victory will be nullified. Also, the pressure will be on for Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire to follow suit. This opens the door for the entire corruption and fraud to go up in smoke. There will be a lot of “proud and lofty” people that will fall as a result. One reason some of these very wealthy and powerful people were paying tens and hundreds of millions to swing the election was to have their crimes hidden. Once some fall they all fall. Jezebel will be tossed out of her tower and given to the dogs.

4 Thus says the Lord my God: Shepherd the flock [destined] for slaughter,

5 Whose buyers or possessors slay them and hold themselves not guilty; and they who sell them say, Blessed be the Lord, for I have become rich! And their own shepherds neither pity nor spare them [from the wolves].

The rulers right now are totally despicable. They have thrown open the doors to this country, there is no border security. Now we have cartels that are trafficking in people, especially kids. All these people care about is getting rich, they are worthless shepherds selling the sheep to the wolves.

6 For I will no more pity or spare the inhabitants of the land, says the Lord; but behold, I will deliver every man into his neighbor’s hand and into the hand of his [foreign] king. And [the enemy] shall lay waste the land, and I will not deliver [the people] out of the hand [of the foreign oppressor].

This is “hell on earth”. No safety, no security, thugs jumping and attacking people on the street without fear of the police. It has not happened yet, it will happen as soon as the one that restrains the Satan steps aside which is what happens when the firstfruits are raptured.

7 So I [Zechariah] shepherded the flock of slaughter, truly [as the name implies] the most miserable of sheep. And I took two [shepherd’s] staffs, the one I called Beauty or Grace and the other I called Bands or Union; and I fed and shepherded the flock.

8 And I cut off the three shepherds [the civil authorities, the priests, and the prophets] in one month, for I was weary and impatient with them, and they also loathed me.

Why do you think they loath you? It is because you restrain them from doing evil. We see this today, they loath us and used the pandemic to destroy the economy just to remove Trump. They wanted everyone to continue to wear masks to maintain this illusion of danger so that they could seize control of all the levers of power. Meanwhile the Lord and the people of God have become impatient with them. Why are the schools closed? Why do we still need to wear masks if we are vaccinated? There are three shepherds, the politicians like Biden and Pelosi, the priests like Fauci, and the prophets like CNN and MSNBC. They will all be cut off and judged by the Lord.

9 So I [Zechariah] said, I will not be your shepherd. What is to die, let it die, and what is to be destroyed, let it be destroyed; and let the survivors devour one another’s flesh.

10 And I took my staff, Beauty or Grace, and broke it in pieces to show that I was annulling the covenant or agreement which I had made with all the peoples [not to molest them].

God had a covenant with us ever since the time of Noah. The rainbow was a testimony of that covenant, but man broke the covenant which was to deal righteously with murder. Think of their hypocrisy for 50 years they claimed that a woman’s right to privacy allowed her to kill her baby because we did not have the right to know what was going on. Her body, her decision. But now with the pandemic their right to know if you have been vaccinated or not trump’s your right to privacy. It is no longer your body your decision.

11 So the covenant was annulled on that day, and thus the most wretched of the flock and the traffickers in the sheep who were watching me knew (recognized and understood) that it was truly the word of the Lord.

That day refers to the rapture. Everyone on Earth will know in that day that it is truly the word of the Lord. They will see the rapture, they will see the word fulfilled, even the most wretched of them will know what this is.

12 And I said to them, If it seems just and right to you, give me my wages; but if not, withhold them. So they weighed out for my price thirty pieces of silver.

13 And the Lord said to me, Cast it to the potter [as if He said, To the dogs!]—the munificently [miserable] sum at which I [and My shepherd] am priced by them! And I [Zechariah] took the thirty pieces of silver and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.

Cast it to the dogs, just like Jezebel. What people will discover in that day is that there are many so called men of God, just like Judas, who has sold them for thirty pieces of silver. The Catholic church will be exposed, many false prophets will be exposed.

14 Then I broke into pieces my other staff, Bands or Union, indicating that I was annulling the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

Civil war, already we can see the country splitting apart, imagine what happens after the rapture. The ones standing the strongest for the Lord will be taken, this will be like removing the bridle from those who are doing evil. They will run wild and the believers who are left will be like Lot, stuck living in a hellscape. Many Christians want to go along to get along, they loath the evangelicals who are preaching the way of righteousness. But once they are gone they will be all alone, what then?

15 And the Lord said to me, Take up once more the implements [the staff and rod of a shepherd, but this time] of a worthless and wicked shepherd.

16 For behold, I will raise up a false shepherd in the land; the lost and perishing he will not miss or visit, the young and scattered he will not go to seek, the wounded and broken he will not heal, nor will he feed those that are sound and strong; but he will eat the flesh of the fat ones and break off their hoofs [to consume all the flesh].

17 Woe to the worthless and foolish shepherd who deserts the flock! The sword shall smite his arm and his right eye; his arm shall be utterly withered and his right eye utterly blinded.


This is the antichrist, he will be raised up once those that restrain are removed. He won’t care about anyone, won’t care if they are wounded and need to be healed, won’t care if they are starving and need to be fed, in fact he’ll devour the fat ones himself. The rapture is wonderful to those who have been faithful to the Lord and horrible to those who haven’t.

Another good overview of Pentecost. It seems that May 16th is the correct day for Pentecost based on Joshua (this was a weird week where they don't know whether to skip the first Sabbath or not, in Joshua they count it which would make the 16th Pentecost, if you skip it then 23rd is Pentecost.)

Zechariah 12:1-6 -- Spiritual Judo

Judo is the fighting style where you let the opponents own attacks take him down as well. Instead of opposing the force directly you turn their own force to your advantage. In the last chapter we saw that God and his people were fighting with each other, they refused to listen and began to loath the prophets and He in turn also had had enough. As a result the last chapter concluded with God saying fine, he would give them an idolatrous shepherd and would stop restraining the evil. They had broken the covenant He had made with them at the time of Noah so He also would stop abiding by that covenant.

1 The burden or oracle (the thing to be lifted up) of the word of the Lord concerning Israel: Thus says the Lord, Who stretches out the heavens and lays the foundation of the earth and forms the spirit of man within him:

This is the new creation, the work of redemption, and ultimately the coming kingdom. Remember, if the Lord is in you then the kingdom is in your midst.

2 Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup or bowl of reeling to all the peoples round about, and in the siege against Jerusalem will there also be a siege against and upon Judah.

I am reminded of my two oldest kids. They were born and raised in Taiwan but then came to live with me when they got to sixth grade. They didn’t speak any english so I decided to homeschool them before high school. I had taught ESL for years in Taiwan and felt I could do a better job of having them learn english than the public school could. Every day I gave them their assignments for the day, we had a strict schedule worked out because there was only one computer and they each wanted equal time on it. I also told them how they did was completely up to them, if they became doctors or flunked out it was up to them. Their mother was very upset at my decision to homeschool and was scaring them enough as it was. So I was basically telling them that if this doesn’t work out it is on them, not me. Looking back that is one of the things I regret because they did do exactly what I told them to and ultimately they were both valedictorians of their schools. No doubt if I could have guessed that would have happened I would have told them I would take the credit for whatever happens. But it is the same with the believers, some will listen to the Lord, obey Him and follow His word. They will “live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God”. Others won’t, and so God employs different strategies for different people. Some only need to hear the word and they will obey, others need to learn from their mistakes.

People don’t understand prophecy. If you show me an apple seed and we plant that in the ground I can prophesy what the tree will look like and what the fruit will be like, when the tree will bring forth fruit and even what season the fruit will be ripe. I can do all that because I understand that is an apple seed, it will grow into an apple tree and I know what an apple tree will be like. In the same way God can prophesy of the great tribulation, this is not because God is trying to kill us but rather because you are planting a seed that will grow into that kingdom of Antichrist. So then God’s word prepares us for that day. The day will come when these two kingdoms can no longer coexist. At that time the kingdom of antichrist will attack the church. If you follow the Lord’s word and obey it the church will be a “cup of reeling” a cup of poison to the antichrist. For example there was a video of the police coming into a church and arresting a pregnant woman with a baby in her arms because she had taken off her mask. Is there anyway for antichrist and his kingdom to do this without it costing them far more than it is worth? With every step they take more and more people wake up as to how evil the antichrist is.

The Lord is training us and preparing us for this battle. We will be attacked, but just like in Judo the attack of the enemy will be used against the enemy.

3 And in that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all peoples; all who lift it or burden themselves with it shall be sorely wounded. And all the nations of the earth shall come and gather together against it.

Jerusalem refers to the city of peace, and no doubt there is a Jerusalem in Israel but the New Testament tells us the church is also the New Jerusalem that is above. The church is very burdensome to the world. They would like to legalize abortion so that they can fornicate without any consequences. But regardless of how much they debate and reason the church has rejected that and so they have finally decided to forget debate.

“On that day” refers to a specific day, the great day of the Lord. This indicates a transition from the age of grace to the kingdom age. This term that they will be “sorely wounded” refers to idol worship where you cut yourself as a form of idol worship. What does this mean? You have seen cancel culture forcing people to make these public apologies like self mutilation. In the world there is no forgiveness, as a result instead of confessing, repenting and forgiving they have what the communists call “struggle sessions”. You have to come before them and apologize for absurd things and then they in turn use that as a basis to fire you. For example they were castigating anyone who questioned the results of the election, anyone who questioned the CDC, anyone who questioned CNN.

Israel will stand alone, but so will all of God’s people. We, the church, are the true Israel, the true prince of God. We need to “stand alone”, to stand against every nation.

4 In that day, says the Lord, I will smite every horse [of the armies that contend against Jerusalem] with terror and panic and his rider with madness; and I will open My eyes and regard with favor the house of Judah and will smite every horse of the opposing nations with blindness.

To smite every horse is to smite the power of all the nations. The things that the politicians are doing, the media are saying and the corporations are doing can only be explained as madness. They are in terror and panic and are running around blind. They attempted to steal the election and then thought that insults hurled at the “deplorables” would be enough to shut them up. But they didn’t shut up, they dug in their heels, they pursued them, and now all the sins are coming out, the election fraud is being revealed, and they are filled with terror and panic.

5 And the chiefs of Judah shall say in their hearts, The inhabitants of Jerusalem are our strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.

6 In that day will I make the chiefs of Judah like a big, blazing pot among [sticks of] wood and like a flaming torch among sheaves [of grain], and they shall devour all the peoples round about, on the right hand and on the left; and they of Jerusalem shall yet again dwell and sit securely in their own place, in Jerusalem.

This is what is happening today, this is “that day”. We are devouring the deep state in flames (Liz Cheney, Gov Newsom, Gov Cuomo, Gov Whitmer, Joe Biden, FISA scandal, Jan 6 scandal, Maxine Waters, etc). We are devouring the mainstream media which is nothing but the propaganda arm of the Democratic party in flames (ratings are down 40-60%, several major pundits have already had their shows removed). We are devouring the multinational corporations that have “gone woke”. MLB, Coca Cola, Twitter, Facebook, Google, Amazon, Apple, all these corporations that thought they were untouchable are like logs in the fire.

But wait, the Lord’s kingdom is not of this world. Yes, that is true. We are not of this corrupt world. We are not of these false shepherds who worhsip idols and don’t care about the sheep. We are not of these false prophets who will say whatever they are paid to say and have no respect for the word of God or the word of truth. We are not of these spineless corporations that are amoral and will do anything to improve the bottom line. The bottom line does not refer to human life or people, it simply refers to vain idols of metal and wood.

Zechariah 12:5 Courage is contagious

5 And the chiefs of Judah shall say in their hearts, The inhabitants of Jerusalem are our strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.

This expression in Hebrew is odd, but it is similar to something that Steve Bannon says all the time “courage is contagious”.

Zechariah 12:7-10 Let's talk about Messiah, the one who came to save us but we had Him crucified.

7 And the Lord shall save and give victory to the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not be magnified and exalted above Judah.

8 In that day will the Lord guard and defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and he who is [spiritually] feeble and stumbles among them in that day [of persecution] shall become [strong and noble] like David; and the house of David [shall maintain its supremacy] like God, like the Angel of the Lord Who is before them.

9 And it shall be in that day that I will make it My aim to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Look at these terms, the tents of Judah will have the same glory as the house of David, the feeble will be mighty warriors just like David, the house of David will be like God. Remember the Lord’s word to Job, “do you have an arm like God or can you thunder with a voice like God?” For two thousand years the age of grace has been to transform God’s people so that we are like God, we are like David (Jesus). We might have been feeble when we first got saved but in this day we will be mighty. Think about Mike Lindell, a meth addict who is bringing down the entire deep state of the US.

10 And I will pour out upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace or unmerited favor and supplication. And they shall look [earnestly] upon Me Whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him as one who is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Can you imagine? They are like Saul of Tarsus “who are you Lord”. They know the Bible but they don’t know the Lord. They know of a redeemer, but that redemption is not a reality for them, it is only when they see the reality of the redeemed and transformed that they repent. What does it mean to repent, it means to seek grace and to seek the spirit of grace. It means they will look upon the one they were stabbing, the one who was burdensome and that they loathed and realize “its the Messiah!” Again, what did Jesus tell Saul “I am Jesus whom thou persecutest”. They thought they were being zealous for the Lord and then their eyes are opened to realize they were crucifying the Lord. For example, suppose someone hated Trump, railed against Trump because they thought he was colluding with Russia, or because they thought he was using his presidency to enrich his family, or because they thought his policies were inhumane or that he was going to get us all killed in a war. Then they get what they want, Joe Biden is elected and then they discover that Biden was the one who had colluded with Russia and China, it was his family that was being enriched by the CCP and Putin, that the human rights violations at the border became ten times worse with Biden and they didn’t even care enough to go visit the border, and that the minute Biden becomes president we are terrified of war. We surround Washington DC with troops, Taiwan is under threat from China, Ukraine is under threat from Russia, Iran is attacking Israel, and we are having massive cyber attacks in the US. It is one of those horror films that the very thing you are most terrified of is what happens because you attacked the only people trying to protect you.

Zechariah 12:11-14 A more Biblical example

11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of [the city of] Hadadrimmon in the Valley of Megiddo [over beloved King Josiah].

12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart: the [kingly] family of the house of David apart and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan [David’s son] apart and their wives apart;

13 The [priestly] family of the house of Levi apart and their wives apart; the family of Shimei [grandson of Levi] apart and their wives apart;

14 All the families that are left, each by itself, and their wives by themselves [each with an overwhelming individual sorrow over having blindly rejected their unrecognized Messiah].


I get it, everyone hates using Trump as an illustration, so let’s use a different one. When the Lord Jesus came the first time the Jews rejected Him and had Him crucified. He is a Jew, He is their firstborn, He is the savior of the world. How can you be Jewish and not really proud of that? Instead the leaders of the Jews have lied to them repeatedly to blind them of this fact because they are covering up their own sins. Now imagine we have the first rapture, the world goes crazy, you hear all kinds of stories from UFO’s to everything under the sun. However, no one can avoid the fact that this was the rapture, that the Christians have talked about this for 2,000 years, and now there are many Christians who are left behind and they are talking about it. Then there is a second rapture and those Christians are also taken. This would be like Joseph telling his brothers for the second time that it is he. At this point there would be a bitter mourning of the Jews because they crucified the Lord, the denied the Lord, they lied about Him, they refused at every opportunity to turn and repent and seek Him.

Isaiah 42:1-8 -- Everyday people's eyes are opened.

1 Behold my servant,

I am reminded of 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. The gospels give us this vision of Jesus, if we will behold Him, if we open ourselves up to behold His glory like a mirror, we can be changed into the same glory!

whom I uphold;

what a powerful testimony when a person with no strength of their own, perhaps they aren’t a good speaker, maybe they were just uneducated Galilean fisherman, yet they can reflect that glory.

mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

Right now the nations are in confusion, they need a clear word from God. All of the events around the world have caught their attention. Many who were obstinate “we won’t look to the Lord” are now opening up to look. This is a tremendous opportunity for the gospel.

2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

You don’t need to promote the message. Simply speak it. They aren’t rioting in the streets like Antifa.

3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

A reed is used to make music, if it is bruised it can be ruined for making music. In the world they break and discard it. That is true in the world, it is not true in the Kingdom. If you have been bruised the Lord is not going to break you. A torch is made out of flax. When the flame turns to nothing but smoke they will quench it and discard it. Again, you may feel that the light you are receiving from the Lord is more smoke that light. Once again, the Lord is not going to quench you. Just open yourself up to behold the Lord and you will be transformed.

4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

The Lord is not discouraged with our shortcomings and failings. You are not doing this in your own strength, He is the one who upholds you. He has begun the work in us, He will complete it. Think about all those who should have been discarded, should have been quenched, but weren’t. Now you can see them going after this election fraud, they were called crazy, the system was doing everything in its power to ignore and discourage them. Yet they were not discouraged, they did not throw out their resolve, they didn’t quench it, didn’t discard it, but rather they kept at it and now we have proof of fraud. Arizona’s audit proves that the fraud was extensive, the lies were blatant and the election officials and dominion executives knew about it. Peter Navarro’s report proves this was not simply in Arizona but was in all of the swing states. Mike Lindell’s movies lay out the evidence that the machines were programmed to cheat. The world is seeing this and other countries are responding with election integrity laws and with decisions to get rid of the Dominion machines.

5 Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

Zechariah quotes this word in chapter 12. We are talking about the creation of the kingdom being likened to the creation of the universe. Job complained about what he was going through and God said “where were you when I created the Earth”? In other words, you have no idea about how I created man, or how I create the kingdom. Then both Isaiah and Zechariah quote this as a reference to God creating the kingdom.

6 I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. 8 I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

This is who Jesus is. He will hold your hand. He will open your eyes. On the one hand He will not give His praise to another, especially not to graven images (money, etc). So during this age we have seen many fail, we have seen in the day of trouble the graven images all fail, there is no glorious savior in the world. But on the other hand we have seen the Lord’s hand throughout this age, we have had our eyes opened, we have come out of the prison house. This is where your testimony should start, how Jesus is a light to you. Why does He do it this way? Why allow Biden to steal the election only to have Stop the Steal rallies, lawsuits, audits, and for the evidence to finally come to light? This is so those who are asleep can wake up. It is so the blind can see. What did He do first? He brought us out of the darkness of the prison house, we left the mainstream media and the tech giant platforms because of their censorship. We chose to not be prisoners any longer. Ever since Biden was inaugurated people have had their eyes opened. Maybe you were offended by the human rights violations at the border, you agreed with Kamala Harris who promised to put an end to it and so you voted for her. But since then the human rights violations have increased ten fold and she has completely ignored that. Maybe you voted for Biden because you felt that Trump had colluded with Russia even though numerous investigations had not been able to confirm that. But now Biden is president, we have a major cyber attack from Russia on our pipeline and within a week Biden says it isn’t Putin. Surely that has to give you pause, what is going on? Maybe the cancel culture bothers you and watching the military be purged of anyone not supporting Biden bothers you. Perhaps the incredible number of Executive orders by Biden bothers you, didn’t he say that is what a dictator does? Maybe you were a big supporter of the MeToo movement and now are bothered at the women who accused Biden of sexual abuse being ignored and the heinous attitude of Cuomo towards his accusers. The very same people who were outraged over one unsubstantiated accusation from over 20 years ago when Kavanaugh was in high school are simply ignoring ten women who have credible claims against Cuomo while he was governor. Every day people’s eyes are opened.

Isaiah 42:9-20 The Lord shall go forth as a mighty man

9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

10 Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

Wouldn’t it be marvelous if the various social media platforms were filled with so many believers singing unto the Lord? Praising the Lord from one end of the earth to the other. We are in the midst of a change in the age, everytime the age changes we “sing a new song”. When Israel left Egypt they received the law at Mount Sinai and that was the beginning of a new age and from that we got many new songs. When the Lord died and rose and then poured out the Spirit at Pentecost it was the beginning of a new age and we got many new songs from that. We are now at the beginning of a new age, we are coming out of the prison houses, out of darkness, into the light of the kingdom and we will get many new songs from this as well. This is the new wine that must be put into new wine skins. Egypt couldn’t contain the new wine at the time of Moses and they burst, the Jewish religion couldn’t contain the new wine at the time of Jesus and they burst, now the world cannot contain the new wind at this time and they will burst.

11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. 12 Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare his praise in the islands.

The news is filled with stories of dread. Floods, famines, plague, pestilence, protests, disasters, drought, fire and gloom; out of this black background to hear this chorus of praise rising will be truly glorious. The fundamental reason for all of these horrors is corrupt shepherds. I was watching a channel that monitors the floods in China. He showed how just recently there have been terrible floods in China and then said “this happens every year”! What? I am a geologist, I study things like spring floods. Rivers are designed to flood in the spring when the snow melts. You aren’t supposed to put towns and villages in the flood plain, you should put your farms there. Only stupid, corrupt planners would do that. The politician doesn’t care because the developer is paying him cash to approve the plans. The developer doesn’t care, he isn’t going to live in the town. It is cheap and easy to build in the plains rather than on high ground. When you let crooks run the government you will pay the price for their corruption. When you get rid of them and give glory to the Lord you will then declare His praise.

13 The Lord shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies. 14 I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once. 15 I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.

This is a new year. The Lord was a God who hides Himself, He was holding His peace. While the world was off doing its own thing, ignoring Him, He has been building His masterpiece. His church, His bride, the man child that will dispossess the enemy. Now it is time to go forth as a mighty man of war. Now it is time to cry aloud. Look at the news, we see people crying out at school board meetings like a woman in travail. People are crying out about the horrors taking place at the border, the horrors taking place in the schools, and the fraud that took place during the election.

16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

Even now there are Christians who can’t see what is about to happen or how it will happen. To them the Red Sea is impenetrable. The Lord is not going to forsake any one of us, He will be the one leading us by the hand with a pillar of fire in the night. He will take us on a path that we have not known even though He has told us of this before they spring forth. We have seen new platforms like FrankSpeech, Gab, and Rumble open up. We have seen people become active in school boards, precincts, and journalism.

17 They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods. 18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.

Really? Some of these people seem incapable of shame, much less to be “greatly ashamed”. I think this is referring to religious leaders who have trusted in money. Those that preach the prosperity gospel. I think it is also referring to the mainstream media that has completely abandoned any semblance of being impartial. I think it is also referring to Big Tech, just watch the Project Veritas videos. They thought they could simply pay $400 million to swing the election. They will be “greatly ashamed”. They will be caught, they will be exposed, they will be prosecuted.

19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the Lord's servant? 20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.

So this explains how and why they are greatly ashamed. They have been arrogant saying that the gentiles are blind and they see. The gentiles are deaf but they hear. So think how greatly ashamed they will be when it becomes clear that they were the ones who were blind and deaf. This is the point of the GameStop scandal. The elites treated the “unwashed masses” as being blind and stupid. But then they got caught, trapped, and the corruption and fraud was apparent for all to see. We saw this at the beginning of the age when the Religious leaders rejected Jesus: “the stone which the builders have rejected has become the head of the corner”. We’ll see this at the end of the age as well with many religious leaders.

Isaiah 42:21-25 We need a government that can restore

21 The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

There has been a concerted campaign by atheists to dishonor the law. They reject it, they slander it, they mock and ridicule it. The defund the police movement was an attack on the law, but now people are seeing how horrible is a society without police.

22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.

This is the way of the world. They are looking for that one person “who has got talent” to then promote. Someone from CNN tweeted “we need another Hitler” just yesterday. They want a dictator who will trample the opposition to get things done. It is the complete opposite of the church where we want everyone in the choir. We want everyone to sing praises to the Lord, to share their testimony of how He has saved and restored them. Everyone is snared watching a bunch of millionaires play a game with a ball rather than playing themselves. You got snared, they took you for prey. This is what the GameStop scandal is all about. “Who are you, serfs, to think you can handle your own investments without paying us 2-3% for the benefit of our expertise.

23 Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come? 24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the Lord, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.

This is why the Lord hid Himself, why He held his peace and refrained Himself. Now at the end of the age you can compare. The worldly system brought you to ruin. It was based on everyone being snared in a hole, hid in prison houses, spoiled and robbed. Meanwhile the church that was despised and ridiculed has grown, it has prospered, it has restored all those who were discarded by the world. All those bruised reeds are now singing a new song, all those smoking flaxes are now burning bright. What is a true shepherd but one that can restore. You want a shepherd that can restore a bruised reed or that can restore smoking flax.

25 Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.

This verse sounds like a very clear description of what is happening in California and Oregon. Hollywood has replaced the Lord’s word with their own stories. They are the exact opposite of the Lord. They lift up their voice in the street and cry out to promote their movies and music. Their land is littered with all the bruised reeds they have discarded and all the smoking torches they have quenched. They trust in graven images. They are confused, they have no solution, and the fire round about them has been poured out like fury. Yet you do not hear one word of repentance. No one is saying we are reaping what we sowed. But that is what happened to California. They were the richest state in the US and have become the poorest, they are reaping what they sowed.

The day of Redemption

There is still a lot of disagreement about the "rapture" and the primary dispute is that the term itself is vague and the often interpreted from allegorical or typological teaching. That is a valid complaint. No teaching should be based solely on allegory or typology. Noah is a type, Ruth is a type, the harvest is an allegory, what we need is the black and white teaching concerning the rapture.

The rapture = the day of redemption.

Consider the following verses:

Romans 8:23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves too, who have and enjoy the firstfruits of the [Holy] Spirit [a foretaste of the blissful things to come] groan inwardly as we wait for the redemption of our bodies [from sensuality and the grave, which will reveal] our adoption (our manifestation as God’s sons).

Ephesians 1:14 That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the firstfruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption and our acquiring [complete] possession of it—to the praise of His glory.

Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God’s own, secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin).

In a Jewish wedding the betrothal is considered a redemption. The groom exchanges a ring or something of value with the Bride, he then goes and prepares a place for them to live and then will come and bring her to where he is. That is the full redemption, the redemption of our body (Rom 8:23). We received the Spirit on Pentecost as a guarantee of our inheritance in anticipation that at the rapture we would have the full redemption (Ephesians 1:14). When we received the Spirit we were sealed, marked out, just like a woman who is betrothed is marked out for the day of redemption, the wedding day, our rapture.

1. Enoch was raptured, he was taken when he was 365 years old. Strong connection to the gentile calendar, church walking with the Lord and taken before the flood.





2. 50 relates to Jubilee and to Pentecost. It was the year of redemption. The redemption of our bodies.





3. Shavuot is the time when in heaven the fruit of the trees is judged — The Bema seat judgement refers to the Lord judging the works of the believers for reward. (like the judgement that goes to those getting gold medals and silver medals at the olympics).





4. 24 animals sacrificed. If you compare Leviticus with Deuteronomy there is a discrepancy in how this festival is kept. One possible reconciliation is that there were offerings made in the morning and the evening. In that event we have 24 animals sacrificed. This is fascinating because there are 24 courses for the priestly service and in the New Testament there are 24 elders with their crowns. This seems to correspond with the Bema judgement where you would have 24 different events that get judged for reward.





5. He that gathereth in summer is a wise son, but he that sleepeth in summer brings shame. Just like the Lord talked about those who are alert and watching for the Lord’s coming versus those who are asleep.





6. Hebrews 12 is a picture of Pentecost. It begins with the sight of Mt Sinai. Then in contrast it says we are come to Mt. Zion, the church is called to a different mountain. Is this a picture of the rapture where we are gathered to Mt. Zion?





7. 1Corinthians Paul says he would tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost because a very effectual door is opened to him for the gospel and that there is a lot of attacks as well. If Paul is a type of Christ in His heavenly ministry then this would be a picture of the age of grace concluding at Pentecost.
