July 13, 2022 -- Another word to Vicki Goforth Parnell

“Hear ye, here you one and all oh people of the earth. Judgment has come to your world! Judgments not seen since years gone by. Judgment foretold from times past now forward to now…you shall now enter the testing period before the trying period that precedes the time of tribulation up on your world!”

“For your unwillingness to bow your head or bend your knees to Jehovah God who sits in heaven, your Creator and to accept his Son Jesus the risen lamb who gave all the ultimate sacrifice so mankind could be free from all sin, for your stiff necked and rebellious hearts unwilling to repent though heavens courts has ordered and sent down warning upon warning even after you received your rightful judgment of a guilty verdict, you shall now enter the testing period before the trying period that precedes the time of tribulation up on your world!”

“The 10 plagues of Egypt have been called down at the command of the great God Jehovah”

This word is clearly to unbelievers. He says it is to the people of the earth who are unwilling to bow the head or bend the knee to Jesus, that is unbelievers. The 10 plagues of Egypt were on the world and not on Goshen where the people of God were.

“I make this official announcement for heavens courts that the Pharaohs of this modern world who have enslaved many of the children of God with their lives and deception and their unmerciful hold upon the people forcing their evil laws and mandates upon them while declaring themselves rulers and gods of the earth-- the time of revealing of the true God from the fake is now here!”

"The time of revealing the true God form the Fake is now here!" We have a tail wind to reveal the true God and to expose the fake Gods. This is which way the wind is blowing.

“40 days of testing with allotted times between some. 40 days of testing beginning with your waters being seen but not fully, until the night which is day is one, for all to see of the now, of the color of blood, of red as the first plague of water turned into blood is seen by all.”

When you read the whole thing it seems clear that the sum total of the days of testing from these ten plagues will be 40 days with small breaks in between for the people of the world to reflect on what is going on and repent.

“Three days of darkness shall come and then the destroyer shall strike, and his aim shall be true! Not one of the first born of your world shall escape his hand that is not covered by the umbrella of protection that has been given to all whose hearts have the risen Lamb’s blood applied also covering that of their seed line.”

You will see the start in the physical in its final stage at this time of now!”

I believe that Moses and Aaron typified the two witnesses, so the ministry of the two witnesses will begin with them appearing to the world and that takes place after the rapture.

“Hear ye now oh, habitants of the earth, you are given during this time of testing... chances. Chances again to repent and come back to the living God Jehovah and He will be your God and you, His people. In doing so, he will walk with you, shielding you as the world goes through the testing and then into the soon coming other 40 days of trying of His true children and your world like what has never been seen before upon your world!”

So when did this time of now begin in Exodus? Probably when God appeared to Moses in the burning bush. This was 17 months ago, I suspect the first plague is very close.

“They’re for long range, far distance fighting daughter faith, of grace, of mercy, of understanding, of wisdom and love. The battle raging is the fiercest that's ever been seen since the time that lucifer who is now known as by most as satan or the devil tried to overthrow the great God Jehovah as ruler of all creation, the ruler of all that is all.”

"The battle raging is the fiercest that's ever been" -- Wow!

How does Antichrist come to power?

If churches in Nazi Germany knew how he would come to power it would have been a valuable warning to the believers. I think it is valuable to walk through all these verses, but I think his interpretation is muddled and confused. WW1 and WW2 were critical to the rise of the beast, the rise of the little horn, and the dividing up of various kingdoms. I think he is missing that point.

1. He comes out of the mass of Gentile people (the sea).

2. He comes up among a preexisting group of ten kings as "the little horn" but then plucks up three of the kings. Think about Hitler, he was elected to office but had a very small percent of the votes, he was a "little horn". But then he removed Hidenburg, Papen and Schleicher from being chancellor and so Hitler became chancellor.

3. Comes to power through the war between the ram and the goat. The Ram is a reference to modern Iran, and the little horn comes from the Goat which would be modern day Turkey. Again, with our picture of Hitler, he came out of WW1.

4. The little horn is able to split up the major world power into four kingdoms. We see a similar story in the book of Revelation where a one world government that appears to be "a little horn" like the UN is able to split up the rest of the world's powers. This is what the allies did to Germany after WW2, they split it up to prevent it from becoming great again. We also saw this after WW1 where Turkey's empire was split up. In September of 2024 the UN will have a pact for the future which he is suggesting would be when this world government tries to seize power. In addition to these four horns you have six others which makes ten horns. Many of us think the ten countries in BRICS refers to these ten horns. Others think that the UN is planning to divide the world into ten regions and that is what the ten horns refers to.

5. The beast and the ten horns refers to this beast system of government and this one world government probably run by AI making it a beast system. They will hate the prostitute. So the governments of the nations are considered "beasts" and this other superpower is called a "Prostitute" indicating a woman, a human. They will destroy the prostitute, I believe this refers to the US, a country that was called a "Christian nation" but which has rejected Jesus and has become a prostitute and Sodom and Gomorrah. The ten horns give their power to the beast and destroy mystery Babylon. (He thinks the UN is mystery Babylon, I think the US is mystery Babylon). I think the UN is the little horn that rose up and split up Turkey and Germany.

6. He has help from a foreign god. It is well known that the UN is satanic. The Antichrist seems to have been mortally wounded and then is healed.

Zechariah 1:18-21 Four Horns and Four Craftsmen

18 Then I looked up, and there before me were four horns. 19 I asked the angel who was speaking to me, “What are these?” He answered me, “These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem.” 20 Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen. 21 I asked, “What are these coming to do?”
He answered, “These are the horns that scattered Judah so that no one could raise their head, but the craftsmen have come to terrify them and throw down these horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter its people.”

If we consider the history of Israel these two thousand years they were definitely scattered by the major powers (horns). Surely we would include Roman Empire after what happened in 70AD. We would also include Russia with their Pogroms against the Jews. From what I understand the Muslims worked with the Germans to persecute the Jews at that time so I would add them to the list as well as Turkey. However, the world has changed dramatically from nations having the power to multinational corporations having the power. I suppose the people who dominate cyberspace like Facebook, Amazon, Apple and Google could be considered “craftsmen”. There is evidence that this pandemic was a virus made in a bioweapons lab, so I suppose you could consider those that made the virus to be “craftsmen”. I have heard about the incredible things that they currently do with AI, not just to “serve man” but even more to manipulate and control man. I suppose they could be viewed as craftsmen as well. Finally, those that have made digital currency like Bitcoin can certainly be viewed as craftsmen as well. There is no doubt that these craftsmen are terrifying the powers that were.

But think about today, Biden is terrified by this audit in Maricopa county and the various elections that have been challenged in court due to fraud. The white hat hackers who have uncovered the foreign interference are "craftsmen" that are terrifying Biden. The lawyers who have been like bull dogs since November 6th are also craftsmen. The people who are setting up new platforms to get around the censorship: Rumble, Gab, Parler, FrankSpeech, etc., these are also craftsmen. Finally the journalists that are exposing CNN, people like Bannon, Bongino and Project Veritas, these guys are also craftsmen. The three highest rated life stream news programs on the internet are Steve Bannon's Warroom, Dan Bongino, and Steve Crowder. They have pulled the rug out from under Fox, MSNBC and CNN.

I saw the funniest thing, they played a clip of Joy Behar having a meltdown, she was saying that she had told people there was no election fraud so why are they still going on about it? It was hysterical, she is like the last person to realize no one is listening to her, no one cares what she says. She has destroyed any credibility she might have had at some point.

Returning to our Old Western movie, the four craftsmen are like four professional gunslingers coming to town to help the townspeople "drain the swamp". We are getting them for election fraud, and for the vaccine mandate of a deadly vaccine, and for corruption from Biden and other politicians selling access and influence. Tucker Carlson is a craftsman, Steve Bannon is a craftsman, and Donald Trump is a craftsman.

Who is Babylon the Great?

Revelation 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

Babylon refers to a great city that rules over all the earth. Some think it refers to the Vatican (illuminati), some think it refers to the UN and I think it refers to Washington DC. The US dollar rules over the whole earth, BRICS is going to replace it, that is the ten kings that rise up to destroy Babylon.

22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee;

This could refer to either the US or to the Vatican. But not the UN.

and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

Craftsmen? Millstones? In the Vatican? No, this can only refer to the US.

23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

Thy merchants? That cannot refer to the Vatican and not to the UN either. Amazon.com and Walmart are two of the greatest merchants on earth, that is the US. So then, "by thy sorceries were all nations deceived". Sorcery here is a reference to pharmacopeia, companies like Pfizer and Moderna and mRNA vaccines that the entire world took. That refers to the US, not to the Vatican and not even to the UN even though the WHO declared the pandemic, they weren't the sorcerers, the sorcerers were in the US bioweapons systems and in these major companies that design these vaccines.

Cults

13 Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby. 14 For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it.

We have a "broad way that leads to destruction" and a "narrow way that leads to life". If you say that Jesus is the only way that leads to life, that is a narrow way. If you say 'we all worship the same God' that is a broad way. In the narrow way we have two very restricting guidelines: Jesus is the only way to the Father and the Bible is the word of God. In the broad way they are willing to embrace all faiths, they get rid of offensive symbols like the cross or the name of Jesus, and they tell you that the Bible is old and out of date and you don't need to obey the word, rather treat it as a good book. I equate this "broad way" to a cult. I know many equate cult with Manson or Jim Jones or Hitler but to me those are the ultimate destinations, that is where the road leads. Being in a cult is the path that leads ultimately to some form of destruction. In order to be on that road you have to accept this person's word over the Bible, so then it is a "personality cult". Also regardless of what the "atheists" and "agnostics" think, they are all worshipping something. So then you have worship of a false God and you have a leader who replaces the word of God with their own word. So then, to me that is a cult, that is the broad way that leads to destruction. Consider Christmas, it seems everyone regardless of their faith "celebrates" Christmas. For some the celebration is wholly centered on Jesus Christ, but for the vast majority of people it is a "broad way that leads to destruction". Their celebration is filled with "magic" (occult), and myths (lies).

15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.

This is the context. The context is false prophets, wolves in sheep's clothing. That is a cult. Santa Claus seems like a benevolent old man that wouldn't hurt anyone, but in reality he is a ravening wolf.

16 By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Paul referred to the Judaizers as "dogs, evil workers, the concision". If they are dogs then they are just like the wolves in sheep's clothing. If they are evil workers then they are a corrupt tree bringing forth evil fruit. If they are the concision, forbidden cutting, then they are ignoring the word of God. All of that can easily be seen in the world's celebration of "Xmas".

Ottomans in the Bible

The Ottoman’s were Sunni Turks who became very powerful and united the Middle East for about 400 years. Their founder had a vision, which is covered in verse 14. The Ottoman’s rise and fall is described in the next 5 verses (all on this page).

Rise of the Ottomans

Daniel 11: 15-16(15) Then the king of the North will come and build up siege ramps and will capture a fortified city. The forces of the South will be powerless to resist; even their best troops will not have the strength to stand. (16) The invader will do as he pleases; no one will be able to stand against him. He will establish himself in the Beautiful Land and will have the power to destroy it.

In 1453, at age 21, Mehmed II “the Conqueror” became sultan of the Ottoman Empire. Two years later, he captured the fortified city of Constantinople and made it the capital of the Ottomans. They changed the name to Istanbul, which it remains today. The conquest of Constantinople was significant because it was the first time the city had changed hands since it was built by the Roman Emperor, Constantine, in 330. For that reason, Mehmed declared himself Roman Emperor and set out to legitimize his claim by conquering the western capital of Rome also. By 1480, the Ottomans occupied parts of the Italian peninsula but the campaign was cancelled due to Mehmed’s death the following year. Yet, because of Mehmed’s efforts, the Ottomans retained a significant portion of south-eastern Europe.

In 1512, Selim I became Sultan of the Ottoman Empire and started their expansion into the Middle East. By 1516, he controlled Syria and Palestine, including Jerusalem, also called the Beautiful Land. Perhaps, God makes a specific reference to Jerusalem in this verse because the Mamluks had allowed it to become a place of worship for many religions. For centuries, they had allowed the Latin clergy to serve in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which attracted many Christians during Easter. They also established new sanctuaries to Moses and Salih to encourage Jewish and Muslim pilgrims as well. Perhaps that is why they were saved from the Mongols several times by unusual circumstances. Anyway, the Ottomans had the power to destroy the religious freedoms but they chose not to. Instead, they established a church for the Greeks and built hospitals to serve the communities there. Later, they even allowed the Jews to pray at the Western Wall. Indeed, the Ottomans established themselves in the Beautiful Land but they were civilized such as the Mamluks had been in previous centuries.

Ottomans unite the Middle East

Daniel 11:17He will determine to come with the might of his entire kingdom and will make an alliance with the king of the South. And he will give him a daughter in marriage in order to overthrow the kingdom, but his plans will not succeed or help him.

According to William Muir (1896), the Ottomans proposed an alliance with the Mamluks even though they were far superior in power. Perhaps it was because they were both Turkish and Sunni, as I pointed out earlier. In 1517, Selim sent a delegation of messengers to the Mamluk sultan, Tuman bay II. Selim demanded that his supremacy be acknowledged in the coinage and public prayers, for which, the Mamluks would be spared. According to Muir, Tuman wanted to grant the requests but his Emirs overcame his better judgment and the messengers were put to death. I find no mention of a marriage but that was a common way to make an alliance between two kingdoms. Perhaps, the marriage is not well known because the plan did not succeed. Whatever the case, the Ottomans took control of Egypt anyway.

From 1520-1566, Suleiman “the Magnificent” reigned as sultan of the Ottomans and expanded the empire to its peak of power (left). By 1535, he had taken Baghdad and the rest of Mesopotamia from the Safavids, which effectively gave him control of the entire Middle East. In terms of land area, the Ottoman Empire was not the biggest because they did not control Persia or Arabia. Yet, they controlled Egypt and Mesopotamia at the same time, which in the context of Daniel 11, was the whole Middle East. That had not been done since the Abbasids ruled in the 9th century or the end of verse 6. Notice that the next few verses do not distinguish between the North and South because the Ottomans held both regions for the next 350 years.

Ottoman’s turning point

Daniel 11:18Then he will turn his attention to the coastlands and will take many of them, but a commander will put an end to his insolence and will turn his insolence back upon him.

This verse is divided into two parts and describes the turning point of the Ottoman Empire. After the death of Suleiman, the succeeding sultans did not participate directly in combat. They left the military decisions to a “grand visor”, who answered only to the sultan. That variation would eventually lead to the decline of the Ottoman Empire.

The first “grand visor” was an effective leader because he had served under Suleiman. By 1571, he had strengthened the navy and established dominance along the “coastlands” of the Mediterranean. Pope St. Pius V formed an alliance of Catholic maritime states called the Holy League to oppose the Muslim Ottomans. At the Battle of Lepanto, they succeeded in destroying most of the Ottoman’s ships . However, that just angered the Ottomans who built 250 ships in the next six months, including eight of the largest ships ever seen in the Mediterranean. That quick resurgence prompted the Pope to sign the “Treaty of Peace” in 1573. The treaty ended the Holy League and allowed the Ottomans to expand their positions in North Africa, which explains the first half of verse 18. After that, the Ottomans eased their expansionist policies for almost a century.

The turning point came when a series of “grand visors” from the Koprulu family emerged between 1656-1703. The Koprulus received unprecedented authority and freedom from the sultan’s interference. They reignited the empire’s military ambition and by 1676, they had taken Transylvania, Crete, and the Polish southern Ukraine. Their insolence was turned back upon them when the “grand visor” led a huge army for a second attempt to siege Vienna in 1683. The Ottoman forces were badly beaten by armies from Germany and Poland, led by Polish king, Jan Sobieski. Fifteen years of see-sawing warfare finally forced the Ottomans to sign the Treaty of Karlowitz in 1699. In the agreement, they surrendered a significant portion of Europe, including all of Hungary, which explains the second half of verse 18.

Fall of the Ottomans

Daniel 11:19After this, he will turn back toward the fortresses of his own country but will stumble and fall, to be seen no more.

After the defeat, the Ottomans were forced to adopt a defensive strategy against their European rivals. They defended against Russia one more time, in 1711, but then entered a peaceful era. They began fortifying the cities bordering the Balkans to act as a defense against their European neighbors. However, that strategy did not last.

In the 1800’s, the Ottomans began to lose territory on all fronts because of governmental instability, despite efforts to reform. The empire ceased to enter conflicts on its own and began to forge alliances with European countries. For example, Napoleon occupied Egypt from 1798-1801 but it was liberated by a joint, Ottoman-British force. However, as a result, the British kept a supply of troops in Egypt.

The Ottoman’s downfall began in 1914 when they formed an alliance with Germany against their common enemy, Russia. Shortly thereafter, they gave “safe harbor” to two German ships at Constantinople when they were fleeing from British ships. Consequently, they were pulled into WWI on the side of Germany and the Central Powers, which is not what they had intended. Britain immediately seized Egypt, Sudan, and Cyprus as a result. In 1915, Russian armies attacked Anatolia, sending a flood of Armenian refuges into Syria and Mesopotamia. That sparked an Arab revolt against the Ottomans in 1916. Finally, in 1919, the British took control of the Middle East to restore order. At the end of WWI, the Allied Forces partitioned the Ottoman Empire into individual countries. The Turks rejected the first treaty and fought for their independence for three years. Finally, in 1923, a treaty was signed that created the Republic of Turkey and the Ottoman Empire was seen no more, just as God said.

The British Mandate

Daniel 11:20 His successor will send out a tax collector to maintain the royal splendor. In a few years, however, he will be destroyed, yet not in anger or in battle.

This verse is very distinctive of the relatively brief, British involvement in the Middle East. The British and French succeeded the Ottomans but only under the mandate system. The mandate system was created in 1919 as a temporary arrangement where the communities would receive mandatory advice and assistance until they were able to stand on their own. It was stipulated in the mandate that the “wishes of the communities” be a principle consideration. There were no set boundaries for anything but by 1923, the French had accepted Syria and Lebanon while the British took Iraq and Palestine. In time, they both left voluntarily but they left behind a “tax collector” in the form of an oil company, which took a disproportionate amount of Iraqi profits. After several decades, the Iraqi government regained control of their oil revenues yet not in battle but in international courts.

Before I talk about the oil, I will discuss the division of land, which went pretty smooth except for one part. The British decided to split Palestine into two sections, separated by the Jordan River. They retained control of the western section, including Jerusalem, while the eastern section became Jordon. They picked two sons of a Hashemite ruler from Mecca, Faisal and Abdullah, to become kings of Iraq and Jordon. The Hashemite ancestry went back to Muhammad’s grandfather so they had some degree of popularity. Iraq became an official nation in 1932, followed by Syria and Lebanon in 1943, and Jordon in 1946. Of course, the one part of the system that did not go smoothly was the western 23% of Palestine.

Circumstances occurred that were impossible to foresee when the British retained the small area. In the 1920’s, the British started allowing an influx of Jews because the mandate stipulated that the “wishes of the communities” be a principle consideration. It seemed logical because there were Jewish communities in Palestine. Problems arose in the 1930’s when Nazi persecution caused the influx to skyrocket. In 1939, just as persecution got worse, the British imposed an quota on annual immigration. With no where to go, the Jews either immigrated illegally or ended up in detention camps. By the end of WWII, in 1945, the population of Palestine was 31% Jewish, up from 11% in 1922. Despite criticism from the United States and others, the British maintained their ban on immigration after the war. Over 250,000 Jews were held in “displaced persons” camps in Europe and others were diverted to Cyprus. Finally, the British gave up and turned the problem over to the newly formed United Nations.

After months of debate, the United Nations approved a resolution to make two nations out of the small strip of land. One nation would be Jewish and the other Arab with Jerusalem remaining under international administration. Most Jews accepted the proposal but most Arabs were against it. Nevertheless, on May 14, 1948, Israel proclaimed their independence for the first time in over 2500 years.

In a matter of days, the armies of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon attacked the tiny nation but Israel survived because it was God’s plan. Since then, much of the hostilities in the Middle East have been directed towards Israel. As a result of the first war, approximately 700,000 Palestinians were expelled or fled from their land, which continues to be a problem for Israel today. Following the 1948 war, Egypt began blocking ships traveling to and from Israel. That led to wars in 1956 and 1967 but Israel just gained more land from the Arabs. Yet, they gave much of it back in efforts to make peace, which have resulted in treaties with Egypt and Jordon. However, Israel remains at odds with groups such as Hezbollah and Hamas. Hezbollah is a Shiite party in southern Lebanon, backed by Iran and Syria. They want the Golan Heights back but Israel refuses because it is too easy to launch rockets into northern Israel from there. Hamas is a Palestinian party currently ruling the Gaza Strip. They want their independence but they refuse to recognize Israel’s right to exist. They also want a return to the 1948 borders (above left) but Israel refuses because that would require them to return East Jerusalem. When Jordon controlled East Jerusalem, they blocked access to the Western Wall. Besides, Israel considers Jerusalem to be the eternal, undivided capital of the Jewish people.

The Oil Factor

The “tax collector” reference is distinctive to the oil in Iraq because its value would have been unknown in previous verses. The royal splendor sounds typical of Great Britain who primarily initialized the plan. It started slightly before WWI, in 1912, when the Turkish Petroleum Company (TPC) was formed to seek concessions from the Ottomans to explore for Iraqi oil. It was the mastermind of Calouste Gulbenkian, a naturalized British citizen born in Constantinople. In the original deal, TPC would be owned 50% by the British government, 30% by Royal Dutch/Shell (which Gulbenkian owned a majority), and 20% going to the Ottomans. When WWI broke out, that arrangement was dissolved. In 1923, TPC resumed negotiations but under the provisions of the British mandate. Now, four countries, besides Iraq, wanted a share in the ownership of TPC. Iraq wanted the same 20% promised to the Ottomans but three of the four countries voted “no”. Iraq was afraid that the province in question, Mosul, would be annexed into Turkey without British support so they conceded to demands in 1925. TPC was divided equally between Britain, France, Persia, and the United States, with 5% going to Gulbenkian. It was renamed the Iraq Petroleum Company (IPC) but Iraq only got a small royalty on each ton extracted.

After oil was struck in 1927, Iraqi oil money flowed into IPC pockets for 45 years. In return for completing two pipelines to the Mediterranean, IPC received more concessions to develop oil fields in southern Iraq. As time went by, they received larger areas on both sides of the Tigris River. The windfall started to crumble in 1958 when the Iraqi army overthrew the Hashemite monarchy and formed the Republic of Iraq. In 1961, President Abdul Qassem nationalized 99.5 % of the concession areas, leaving only the producing oilfields in IPC's control. In 1972, the Arab Socialist Baath Party took control of the government and nationalized the rest of IPC's assets. The Iraqi government settled ensuing legal claims in international court, which got rid of the tax collector but not in battle.

The ‘Final Empire’: Rise of the Shiites (v.21)+ America’s role in End Times begins (v. 22-23)

Introduction

When you read Daniel 11, it’s fairly easy to see when major transitions occur, from one empire to the next, compared to details about that particular empire. If you look at it closely and divide it accordingly, you can see that it gets more detailed as it time goes by, which is what you would expect from a chapter about end times. That’s why it was “sealed until the time of the end” (Dan. 12:9), so humans couldn’t know too much too early.

In general, Daniel 11 contains a timeline of empires from Daniel’s time until Armageddon but it contains one important event that Jesus emphasized called the ‘abomination that causes desolation’ in verse 31. As Jesus explained in Matthew 24:15-31, and clarified in Revelation, the ‘abomination’ is when the rapture will happen, and Jesus will appear in the sky with great glory, and the angels will gather the Christians to heaven. In short, that is a proven fact because Matt 24:29 matches the 6th Seal in Rev 6:12 and the multitude, who have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb, are in heaven in Rev 7. As Jesus indicated in Matt 25:15, the ‘abomination’ is the critical event to watch for and He points to the Book of Daniel for more information. It just so happens that Daniel 11 is the most detailed list of events that lead to the ‘abomination’ so that’s why it was “sealed until the time of the end”, to keep humans guessing until the time was right. After all, God never said it would be sealed forever.

Anyway, the ‘empire’ that starts in this verse is important because it’s the last major transition and the rest of the chapter are details, particularly leading to the abomination in verse 31. In fact, as of Nov-2016, we are most likely in Daniel 11:29-30, just before the abomination, so recognizing the correct interpretation of Daniel 11 is crucial to a timely understanding of end times, leading to the rapture. Other than the obvious reason of wanting Jesus to return so we can go to heaven, understanding Daniel 11 and end times can increase one’s faith because it literally proves that God exists, since He’s the only one that could make current events in the Middle East match Daniel 11, which was written 2500 years ago. Daniel 11:21He will be succeeded by a contemptible person who has not been given the honor of royalty. He will invade the kingdom when its people feel secure, and he will seize it through intrigue. It’s pretty obvious that this verse describes the Islamic Revolution of Iran, in 1979. It had a monumental impact on the Middle East, which is still ongoing. It was important because it gave the Shiites a position of power again, which had dwindled for centuries. The leader of the revolution, Ayatollah Khomeini, was never given the honor of royalty, even though he overthrew a monarch. Plus, the kingdom was not seized by normal military tactics; he inspired millions of citizens, by newspaper, to revolt against a perceived ‘westernization’.

For background, the Safavids ruled Persia from 1501 to 1722, which are the modern ancestors of Iran because they were the ones who made Shia Islam the official religion of Persia. (vs 14) During their reign, they fought many battles with the Ottomans but they could never hold much of Mesopotamia (Middle East) for very long. After the Safavids lost power in 1722, the Shiites steadily lost influence in political affairs. Their power was diminished even more when the Pahlavi dynasty took the position of Shah, in 1925, and aligned itself with western powers, following WWI.

In the 1970’s, Ayatollah Khomeini was living in exile in Paris but newspapers carried his speeches, which incited huge demonstrations because he claimed that the current Shah’s reforms were ‘westernizing’ Iran. The Shah must have felt pretty ‘secure’ because he had a well-equipped army and a secret service that was trained by the CIA and Israeli Mossad. Yet, his regime fell because the demonstrations escalated to 10% of the population (compared to 1% in the French and Russian revolutions). One could say that Khomeini ‘seized the nation through intrigue’ (secret plot or scheme) because he was an 80 year-old cleric, exiled to another country, without a standing army. When Khomeini returned from exile, he was not only hailed as supreme leader, but he was regarded as almost divine in nature. For example, in one of his speeches, Khomeini declared that his ‘guardianship’ of the law was from Muhammad so a revolt against his government was a revolt against God. [Revolutionary Iran, Michael Axworthy (2013), page 5] Therefore, the Islamic Revolution of 1979 essentially changed history because the Shiites were almost stamped out but now they are one of the top powers in the region. Yet, despite Khomeini’s popularity, he was ‘never considered royalty’ because a theocratic republic was created. All things considered, there’s no question that Iran fulfilled Daniel 11:21. God’s “timeline of 37’s” If you’re not convinced by the various keywords, in this verse, or the keywords in all the verses before and after this one, then there’s one more thing that might convince you: God’s “timeline of 37’s.” To make a long story short, I stumbled onto the timeline while I was thinking about God’s riddle in Revelation 13:18, concerning the ‘calculation of man’s number’ and 666. Simply put, the calculation is 666 divided by the sum of its digits, which yields “37.” Mathematically: 666 / (6+6+6) = 37. Or: 666 / 18 = 37, which led to the discovery of several important events on Daniel 11’s timeline, which were multiples of 37-years from Muhammad’s initial vision in 610 AD, which started Islam. That’s why I call it God’s “timeline of 37’s.” By far, the biggest revelation of the timeline was when I discovered that the Islamic Revolution in Iran was exactly 37 x 37 years from Muhammad’s vision. That’s “man’s number” squared, connecting the beginning of Islam, in Daniel 11:5, to the beginning of the final empire in Daniel 11:21. Seriously, the odds of that happening by accident would be like hitting the lotto jackpot while getting struck by lightning. That should convince anyone that Iran fulfills Daniel 11:21.

America’s Role in End Times ... begins

Daniel 11:22 Then an overwhelming army will be swept away before him; both it and a prince of the covenant will be destroyed.

Part 1: prophecy fulfilled – “an overwhelming army swept away”

A key element in the first part of this verse is that the ‘overwhelming army’ is not defeated by the final empire but is ‘swept away’ by someone else. That fits perfectly with the actions of the United States, when they swept Saddam Hussein from power in 2003, because he was the primary obstacle to Iran becoming the next ‘king of the North’.

Background:

In order for Iran to rise as an empire, which included ancient Mesopotamia, like other empires had done, things had to change in Iraq. That’s because Iraq is located in the heart of ancient Mesopotamia (north of the Euphrates River). Iran had already amassed considerable influence in Syria because the Assad dynasty is Alawite, an off-shoot of Shia Islam. However, Iraq was totally different because Saddam Hussein was Sunni and he wasn’t about to warm up to the new Shia Republic in Iran.

The Iran-Iraq War (1980-1988)

Saddam Hussein came to power in Iraq about six months after the Islamic Revolution and immediately became a problem for Iran. Since Iraq is about 60% Shiite, Saddam feared his country would be targeted next so rather than wait, he pre-empted an attack in 1980 while Iran was pre-occupied with the American Embassy hostage crisis. The plan worked well at first but Iran re-captured all their original territory by 1982. At that time, Saddam offered a truce but Khomeini rejected it and announced, “The regime in Baghdad must fall and be replaced by an Islamic Republic”. At that time, Saddam resorted to chemical weapons to hold Iran back and the war dragged on for 8 years. Casualty estimates range from 500,000 to over 1 million. Yet, the war ended in 1988 with no significant change in the border.

Prophecy Fulfilled

The stalemate between Iran and Iraq remained for over a decade until the United States invaded Iraq in 2003 and removed the Sunni dictator. The origin can be traced back to the World Trade Center attack on 9/11/2001, which started America’s current war on terrorism. However, as far as I know, there were no Iraqis ever connected to that attack. Nor were weapons of mass destruction ever found, which was the main pretext for invading. Whatever the excuse, it was bound to happen because America’s invasion of Iraq was prophesied in Daniel 11. Now, thanks to the United States, the Iraqi government is Shiite and becoming closer to Iran all the time, which wasn’t going to happen under Saddam or his sons, who were poised to stay in power for decades to come.

A major event occurred the very next day because Iraqi Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki, issued an arrest warrant for Sunni Vice President, Tariq al-Hashimi, accusing him of running a “death squad” that orchestrated several assassinations.

In reality, it took only one day for the coalition government, which the Americans worked so hard to create, to start to crumble. The vice president fled to the northern region of Kurdistan and then to Turkey, which refused to extradite him. Meanwhile, he was sentenced to death by hanging, in Iraq, which sparked increased violence, reaching levels not seen since 2006.

One could argue that the current war with ISIS is a direct result of America’s withdrawal and the actions of Nuri al-Maliki, the next day. However, it was bound to happen, one way or another, because it was prophesied in the Bible. The fact that they happened one day apart is just God’s way of calling attention to it.

Prophecy fulfilled:

In Sept-2013, whatever influence America had left in the region was lost when they decided not to fire cruise missiles at Assad, after it was suspected that he had used chemical weapons, which was a pre-defined ‘red line’. (Personally, I think the rebels exposed themselves to chemical weapons, either by accident or on purpose, to get the United States more involved, but that’s a different matter.) Republicans pushed Obama to enforce his ‘red line’ and fire a bunch of cruise missiles into Syria but British Parliament voted down any possible help in an attack. That prompted President Obama to let Congress vote on the matter, which never happened, but it revealed America’s reluctance to put ‘boots on the ground’ in the Middle East, no matter what. Just as Obama faced almost certain defeat in Congress, John Kerry made a hypothetical remark (possibly by accident) about Syria giving up their chemical weapons. Russian President Putin seized the moment and organized a diplomatic solution, through the U.N., that solved the problem more completely than cruise missiles ever could have. In one fail swoop, America’s influence was weakened and Russia’s was enhanced but that was also part of God’s plan because Russia is part of the “iron and clay” in Daniel 2.

Not quite over for America Even though America lost considerable influence with their ‘no boots on the ground’ mentality, they haven’t lost their military power because ‘ships of the western coastlands’ are mentioned in verse 30, right before the ‘abomination’, which would include American ships, similar to the ones in this verse, either in the Mediterranean or Persian Gulf.

Plus, America’s role continues in the next verse, concerning their nuclear agreement with Iran.

It’s interesting, to me, that the ‘non-incident’ occurred almost exactly 12 years from 9/11/01, which spurred America’s involvement in the Middle East, to begin with. Once again, a democrat was needed because republicans were chomping at the bit to fire away. Yet, that would have been a terrible mistake because weakening Assad, at that time, might have just given Damascus to ISIS, in the long run. Hindsight is 20/20 but it’s interesting that the best solution turned out to be following Bible prophecy, even if Obama didn’t know he was doing it.

Daniel 11:23 After coming to an agreement with him, he will act deceitfully, and with only a few people he will rise to power.

Well, it looks like that came true. And until recently, the possibility of such an agreement looked bleak but Iran’s new president, Hasan Rouhani, below, made a huge difference.

The agreement was reached between Iran and the P5+1, on 11-24-2013, which America is a major part of. However, an independent gesture by the U.S. could have broke the ice and it’s interesting, to me, that it involved an ancient idol. Iran nuclear deal reached CNN – November 24, 2013 Quotes: "This is the first time in 33 years that Washington and Tehran have concluded a formal agreement.”

This verse describes an agreement between the final empire and “him”, which I’ve been saying for years, sounds like the “prince of the covenant” from the previous verse, which would be the United States.

The chalice that helped make possible the Iran nuclear deal L A Times – November 30, 2013 Quote: In gesture of goodwill that helped lead to talks, the U.S. presented a gift to Iran: a silver chalice in the shape of a griffin that is thought to be an antiquity looted from an Iranian cave.It features three trumpet-shaped cups that sprout from the body of a griffin, a fabled creature that typically has the head and wings of a bird and the body of a lion.

Finally, “with only a few people he will rise to power.”

Prophecy Fulfilled.

I think this part of verse 23 has already been satisfied because Iran has successfully united all the Shiite nations of the North, into a so-called Shiite crescent, stretching from Iran to Lebanon. The Saudi-Turkey cold war for Sunni hegemony Al-Monitor [independent] – April 1, 2014Quote: Iran differs in that, as a result of the worsening situation in Iraq, it is now in complete control of the political Shiite sphere. This is a feat that none of its opponents can claim to have achieved, for neither Turkey nor Saudi Arabia nor an Islamist movement has been able to fully dominate the Sunni scene. The current Saudi-Turkish conflict is reminiscent of past relations between the Saudi kingdom and the Ottoman Empire. The conflict today, however, is not between Wahhabism and Sufism, but between Islamic Wahhabism and Islamic democracy.

The US is destroyed

Part 2: “the prince of the covenant is destroyed”

In a sense, America’s presence in Iraq replaced one problem with another, in regards to Iran, because the majority ‘Christian’ United States was a staunch ally of Israel. In fact, I think that’s why America is called the “prince of the covenant” in this verse: because they have done more to help Israel with money and weapons, since their inception, than any other country. [I am removing his interpretation and inserting mine here, I believe this is where we are at the moment, the USA is about to be destroyed. Putin just signed a deal pegging their currency to Saudi Arabia, UAE and OPEC, this seals the deal for BRICS to replace the US dollar. It also indicates there will be a massive surprise attack on the US to destroy the US militarily, and economically.]

Reflection on being a Watchman

The Watchmen have been focused on the Holy Convocations in the Bible because they know that God is the same today, yesterday and forever. Every key event of Jesus was done on a Holy Convocation, so it made sense that this was the case. Paul said that the Holy days are a shadow of the things to come. God tells us He tells us the end from the beginning because only God can do this and this is proof that He is God and that the Bible is the word of God.

All of this is true, but it is also true that Jesus said that the rapture would catch the world by surprise. Some argue that the word "no one knows the day or the hour" is not a reference to the rapture, even if it isn't there are many verses that directly charge us to watch for the Lord's coming because it will catch the world and many believers by surprise.

However, if you strongly subscribe to "No one knows the day or the hour" of the rapture you come into many major problems you have to reconcile. Jesus clearly said the rapture would be as the days of Noah. One of the days of Noah was when Methuselah died, he died the same year as the flood and according to other books (I think the book of Jasher) when Methuselah died Noah and his family entered the ark. The prophecy from Enoch was that when Methuselah dies the end comes. So then Noah was given a seven day heads up prior to the flood. Jesus also said that it would be as the days of Lot. One of the days of Lot was when Abraham was told what was about to happen and prayed for Sodom and then another day was when Lot took the two angels home to stay with him and they told him God was going to destroy Sodom and he had to leave immediately. You also have to address Revelation 3:3 where Jesus tells the church in Sardis to repent or else they would be caught by surprise and not know the hour of His coming. No Bible verse is of its own interpretation. There are other verses as well, for example in the OT we are told that God does nothing without first telling His prophets.

So then one interpretation is that "no one knows the day or the hour" is present tense, when Jesus said this it was absolutely true, but that doesn't mean two thousand years later no one will know the day and the hour a week ahead of time or a day ahead of time. Another interpretation is that the verse was referring to the new heaven and new earth.

I will bring up another point and that is something I have dedicated very many posts to. The three synoptic gospels appear to be written to three different groups: Matthew to Israel which is raptured at the end of the tribulation, Mark to the saints who come out of the tribulation and Luke to the pre tribulation raptured saints. I say this because Luke does not have this verse that "no one knows the day or the hour".

So I have a couple of conclusions which I am calling my reflection.

1. No one knows the day or the hour would eliminate the Holy Feast days in the OT because everyone knows the day and hour of those.

and

2. Not knowing the day or the hour at the time of Jesus does not mean we don't know the day and the hour two thousand years later. Daniel is given a vision which is "sealed up to the end time". At the end time this vision is unsealed, which I believe based on a number of posts I have made in the last two days has been unsealed now. As these signs and prophecies become "unsealed" it is not only reasonable but to be expected that the prophets will be given the day and the hour.

In my next post I want to address the fact that Jesus is the same today, yesterday and forever and that He is going to operate based on these appointed feast days.

The appointed Feast days of the New Testament

There are only four that I know of. But first let's review the big ones from the OT.

1. Passover -- I never liked this one because I was taught that Passover was fulfilled by Jesus and we had nothing to do with that. Also, it doesn't fit with my understanding of the rapture being of only a few, some are left and some are taken. The Passover was the saving of an entire nation. If it is a picture at all it is a picture of Israel being saved at the end of the age when they say "blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord".

Some tried to argue for "2nd Passover" but I think most watchmen agree that is very weak tea and a very poor type.

2. Shavuot -- I think this is a picture of the Ascension of Christ. I also think He fulfilled the first four feasts (Passover, Unleavened bread, Firstfruits and Shavuot) in His earthly ministry.

3. Feast of New Wine / Pentecost -- This was an excellent type because I thought this takes place on the 8th of Av. You can see the Levites being called up and you see the destruction of the apostasy. However, this was fulfilled at the beginning of the age. I always thought it was a terrible plan to have the rapture day on the same day as the engagement. Women like to celebrate these special days, and God likes to do that too. Both of these days are too great to try and celebrate on the same day. I think the calling of the Levites is a picture of our calling.

4. Feast of Trumpets -- Everyone at first loved this because "no one knows the day or the hour" is a reference to this feast. However, you can't see anything of a pre tribulation rapture typified in this feast. I believe the fulfillment of this feast is described in Joel and was 2020 and 2021 when the Pandemic and Vaccine came out. If you were very alert you realized in 2020 that the Lord was coming, but if not by 2021 it should have been obvious with the illegal vaccine mandates. The feast of trumpets is a ten day warning that the day of Atonement is coming. The pre tribulation rapture should take place seven years before the day of judgement, so that was not a good fit.

5. 7 days before the day of Atonement
-- The high priest changes clothes into a white linen garment and is taken to the Temple chamber to prepare for the Day of Atonement. To me that was a perfect picture of the rapture, but the High Priest is Jesus. It is one thing to say that the Levites typify the born again saints in the Feast of New Wine, but for the High priest to? No, besides this is not a feast day or a celebration day. The rapture is a great and mighty victory.

6. The day of Atonement -- It is reasonable to say that the rapture is a day of judgement. But the day of Atonement is not a good picture of the pre tribulation rapture, rather it is a picture of the end of the tribulation.

7. Feast of Tabernacles -- This is a wonderful picture of the millennial kingdom, the restoration of all things, and a thousand year wedding day with the Lord. But I don't see a type of the rapture, and it would be an insult to the Jews for this to be fulfilled by only a few Christians. This is a promise to every believer.

So then let's use the shortages in these seven to describe what the feast I am looking for looks like.

1. It should be a great victory of the believers, not of the Lord.

2. It should depict the ascension of believers, not of the Lord

3. Like Pentecost I want to see the Levites take a stand for the Lord and the apostasy to be judged.

4. I want to see that this is "pre tribulation", I don't just want to see the apostasy, I also want to see the Antichrist, the desecration of the temple, and the persecution of the saints.

5. This needs to be a judgement, but more of a "reward" like a gold medal at the Olympics than a judgement of everyone.

6. Before we can have a restoration of all things we need a restoration of holiness, godliness and the gospel.

7. It needs to be a New Testament feast. The Lord's table is one of our feasts, the other is Hanukkah which is referenced in the book of John and Jesus celebrated it. I definitely feel that the two best days for the rapture are these two.

8. As for the apostasy they also have two feast days: Christmas and Easter. I think Christmas refers to the birth of the Antichrist and so I believe this is when the Antichrist will be revealed, the thief in the night. Amos says He will turn your songs of joy on your religious holidays to mourning. I think that is a definite reference to Christmas carols.

Reflecting on Hanukkah

1. On the 12th of December King Charles will give a speech in which we expect him to declare peace and security with this COP28 gathering. That will be the 5th or 6th day of Hanukkah.

2. The eighth day of Hanukkah is a Friday, December 15th.

3. I also believe that Isaiah 17:1 concerning Damascus becoming a ruinous heap is a modern analogy to the Methuselah prophecy for Noah.

What we are seeing today are the deplorables who stood strong against all odds having election fraud revealed, and the corruption of the Biden crime family revealed and the lies about Covid and the vaccine revealed. These 8 days of light are eight days of revealing that God was with us as we stood against this evil influence.

I think the most powerful days to turn their songs to mourning would be the 17th or the 24th.

When the Lord said He would come as a thief in the night I believe that is a reference to Christmas with "Santa" coming down the chimney like a thief in the night and exchanging your worship of Jesus for some junk from the mall.

However, I do not know the day or the hour, what I do think is that Damascus will become a ruinous heap in the next few days prior to December 25th and that will be the ultimate sign of the rapture. It will be why Sodom will have rampaging mobs violence.
