I was debating trying to see how firm I was on my views. Spelling bothers me like no other. What does this have to do with people starving? That was totally random. ha but its ok. :)

YAY! lol, others might not think you are right on these though. I was just introduced to the topic of calvinism the other day by a guy in my church, it is quite the topic and I am very intrigued by it, so I have been studying that for a little bit. I have found many faults in it so far.

it's like the belief that God predestined certain people (the elect) to be saved, and predestined other people to hell. There are people on these forums that believe in it, it is very popular surprisingly.

I believe that all man have free will, and God did predestine some things like Jesus coming and dieing for us. But I don't believe that God predestined people to go to hell, and to heaven. this promotes the idea that people who are saved have been given a sin license, because no matter what they do, if they are predestined to go to heaven than nothng they can do can let them fall from grace. This also means that it would be pointless for us to preach the gospel because if God has it predestined that they will go to heaven than we arent needed. Some calvinists believe in total predestination which I find utterly ridiculous because that is basically saying that God invented sin. But I also havent done all my research on the topic yet. What do you believe?
