Am I the only one who isn't comfortable with the idea of writing letters to Satan and thanking him, even something like this?

How about directing this sort of creativity toward God and thanking Him, but not Satan?
Have you ever read The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis?
Allegory is just that, but we all use it at certain times.

Enough of your excuses already....it's time for you to eat meat from the word of God....stop relying on milk...ok God bless

I rest my case.........
If you don't like her poem, feel free to stay out of her thread and take your holier than thou criticisms to the bible discussion forums where they will fit in.

The phrase I am thinking of is Red flag to a bull.

What is it lately with the goading and insulting of Satan that has become popular with Christians. No one has any business speaking to Satan or demons, apart from saying "Go Away leave me alone" or telling a demon to leave someone else.

Show some respect to what and who Satan is. Goading Satan and demons is not wise, this is provoking them and someone provoked will cause more problems.

Also for the record I would not consider the op a poem more like a letter to satan, poems have a poetic form of wording to me this seems more like she was writing a letter to him

*Looks at title*

Well, way to enrage the whole forum...Good luck with that, mate.

*Reads what is actually said on the OP*

Oh, it's actually not that bad, lol. Good work :)

*Realises that she is talking to an inactive person and a 2-year-old post*

Oh. Never mind, then.

I have been doing maybe better then I ever had in my walk and the other night I had a dream in which I believe satan or someone from his kingdom said in a low demon like voice "your mocking me, mocking me."
